  it all started with the arrival of the new pack. the group of panthers that stalked the streets of forks at night, trying to protect it from the threat they thought was posed. they took down one volturi guard and it began. suddenly forks became a threat, a threat that had to be extinguished. without even thinking of consequences the volturi sent their guards off for forks to take swift justice against those who killed one of their ranks.
it was not this however that triggered the vision that swept before the eyes of one alice cullen as she sat in her new home in alaska. no. what she saw was quite different. what she saw was another army, an army with a much more personal goal. an army lead by victoria. her goal to destroy bella, and the town that had taken away her love james. surprisingly it wasn’t long before alice and carlisle were hightailing it back to forks without a word to anyone. but despite this alice knew this was a fight that her and carlisle could not win alone, they needed back up. thus began the assimilation of an army of their own. alice and carlisle called in everyone they could think of. friends, family… anyone who might stand a chance of helping them win, though at that time it seemed doubtful it would be anything more than a fair fight.
however upon arriving alice and carlisle managed to recruit two very new alliances, two that could never be expected. the first was the new pack themselves, the second the recently transformed la push wolves. two sections tied together even more closely since jacob’s recent imprinting. the panthers want to leave but as they feel responsible for the threat in the first place they have agreed to stay and fight.
thus stands the situation in forks and la push. the rest of the cullen's have been called back to forks, meaning edward must now face the mistake he made by leaving bella. the wolves and the panther's fates have been fused despite neither side wanting the connection, and it appears that every red-eyed vampire seems to want a slice of forks for some reason or another. so as the war begins to rage and tensions climb to fever pitch where will you stand? with victoria? with the volturi? with the cullens and their assembling force? remember that in this part of the country everyone is always taking sides.
