PLOT OUTLINE
You’ve heard the stories. You’ve read the books, watched the movies. Heck, you’ve probably even got the merchandise. You know; the fake plastic fangs and the tacky black cloaks. Society has been entranced by vampires for centuries, and no doubt you think you know everything about them; creatures of the night that seem to crave nothing but darkness, violence, and above all, blood.
What if I told you that you were wrong? So very mistaken.
Forget everything you think you know, darling, because we don’t just drink blood. In fact, you’re lucky if you cross paths with one of the Sanguines, the blood drinkers. There are worse creatures out there. Creatures who would feed upon your very soul.
For centuries, our species existed, thrived, only on the blood of mortals. For centuries, we were all you thought we were. But time changes things, as you mortals know all too well. Your species has evolved through time, and so has ours. Over the years, vampires found sustenance in other sources; in mortal emotions, mortal souls, or even carnal desires of the flesh. Over time, blood failed to quench their thirst, and so, new breeds of vampire were born. So we spread throughout the world, feeding, growing, and what started as a mere few has grown into the hundreds, the thousands. We’re everywhere you look. Everything you see.
Yet while we are one and the same, species spawned from the same roots, unrest has been festering for countless years. Each species now claims superiority, origins and blood ties forgotten. Vampire turned on vampire, sister of sister, brother on brother. It seemed that there would be no place for unity in the new world. Emilia Murphy, one of the first and oldest of the vampire bloodline, pure and untainted by the newer species, created a safe haven, a place where vampire of any species could find solace, away from the fruitless feud. After a while, it began to masquerade as a school, at least to those who viewed it from the outside without any knowledge of the inner workings. In order to keep up the charade, Adisa Aysel was opened up to human students, though their numbers are limited; it’s an exclusive ‘school’- you’ll need a damn good brain and one of those elusive scholarships.
It’s only a matter of time until things begin to go sour. It’s only a matter of time until the humans see something is wrong, until the vampire blood-feud spills over into the halls of Adisa Aysel. Why not come and enjoy the show?

Okay, so we probably lost you somewhere around 'different species of vampire', right? Well, it's simple, really. While we've all heard of the Sanguine vampires who drink blood, most of us probably haven't heard about the Dreamscape vampires, who feed on dreams, the Soul Vampires, who feed on mortal souls, the empathic Vampires, who feed on mortal emotions or the Psi vampires who feed on energy. Well, here at Adisa Aysel, we bring to light those ignored species of vampire. Information is provided about all species of vampire, and of course, minor alterations can be made to the information given to tailor it to your character.[/blockquote]

Also note that you can play a student at the academy, a teacher at the academy, a townie (vampire or human) or even a vampire inhabitant of the school that doesn't use the school facilities. Vampires who live at the academy, no matter what their species, may wish to be members of the Aysel Coven.
