Hmm...interesting.
Yeah, him growing up in Detroit would make things difficult. four years is a nice, lengthy friendship, though.
So, would Joey still consider Sophie a friend? Are they still close or just kind of there?

I think that them both having suppressed feeling for each other- though his would definitely be more suppressed- would cause a lot of drama between them. It would give them both incentive to tease the other one, you know?
I think it would be nice if they were still friends, but they definitely wouldn't be very close. For Sophie, at least, being around him to much would be to hard to handle.
