Appearance:
Nate has medium length brown hair. It's varied a lot over the years, usually staying at the same length. He keeps it behind his ears most of the time when its not too messed up. He has blue-green eyes just like his mother; a fact which he absolutely loves. He has straight teeth, but only after a couple years of braces in junior high. He has a strong jaw that's usually covered with stubble or a beard and what's been called 'classic' good looks. Even with this, he prefers to drift into the background more than anything. He'll definitely get embarrassed more than anything if he's thrust into the spotlight because of some trait about him.Personality:
Luke is a very tall guy, being 6'4". He towers over everyone he meets. It's something he really enjoys. He has a pretty muscular build which came from years of working out to release stress. It's a way that he's released stress for what feels like forever. Most of the time he goes for a run in the morning to clear his head and then
Nate wears a lot of the same clothes. It's just because he likes what he likes and it's hard to change that. He wears t-shirts often, usually a solid color. Sometimes that's covered by a plaid button up. Most of the time he wears just the plaid button up shirt. It's his trademark, if you will. He likes to just feel comfortable with whatever he's doing so those shirts with a good pair of jeans are what he enjoys most. Having grown in up in a world where public events are a must, he's gotten used to wearing suits and ties. They don't bother him so much, but obviously he'd rather be lounging at home in some flannel pj pants.
Probably the most obvious feature about his personality is that he is shy. He tends to describe himself as painfully shy towards most people, and rarely lets loose. He's very guarded with his words and actions, always thinking about them before they happen and analyzing them. It's probably stupid and he knows that, but it doesn't stop it from happening. There are some occasions where he'll be able to not be shy, but that requires quite a bit of alcohol or some extreme persuasion.History:
He's trying to be a lot of things at the same time so of course he's strained. Trying to be himself, a father, a good son, a good boyfriend, a model student, a writer, and a few other things is really a lot to handle. Some of those things are impossible to be at the same time, but it doesn't stop him from trying. It makes things difficult for him and more often than not, its himself that gets lost amongst the rest of them. In most instances, he doesn't mind being these things for other people and strives to make other people happy.
With the stress of trying to be a lot of things at one time, he also is able to sit back and relax. It helps him stay sane. Listening to music and writing a few pages in his latest project is what makes it possible for him to be strained and not completely lose it. Going to the gym is also a good way for him to relax. It is one of the only places where he can fully be himself away from everyone else. He loves the breaks from school because he can disappear into his house with the two people he cares about most and be happy.
He never expected to be this happy, ever. It's all come so unexpectedly as well. Being with Mai and having Caden has really affected his entire outlook on life. He obviously hadn't planned on having a family this soon, but he really couldn't picture his life at the moment any different. Well he could, but it'd be a painful image. He also never anticipated that he'd love being a father so much. From his experience, his own father never showed much compassion towards him. Maybe that's helping him, but he's determined never to have his son feel like he did when he was around his own father.
An important feature in his life is being a writer. It's something that he's wanted to do since he learned how to read. He's constantly looking around for inspiration and remembering events in his life for later use. Luckily inspiration has seemed to come easily lately. He's taking his writing to another level by going to school majoring in film studies. Even though he is a Warner, he prefers to step out of his family's famous shadow. He wants to make his own name in the world of film and his goal is to one day become a writer/director/producer triple threat.
Born on August 11, 1991 into the established and well known Warner family, his childhood was far from normal. He grew up with two brothers and one sister in Beverly Hills and learned from a very young age that their father was someone they didn't want to mess with. Nick Warner was very into all the prestige and benefits that came with his name and owning his studio. He tried to instill the same beliefs on his children and for a while it did. Nate especially loved going with his father to work all the time, exploring the sets and trying on all the random costumes. Those were probably some of the happiest memories he had of his childhood.Sample Rp:
As he grew up, however, the bright idea that he had come to believe about his family started to fade and reality set in. As soon as he found he loved the writing aspect, a talent he inherited from his grandfather, he started to pull back from the outings and the typical family gatherings. He was starting not to like that side of fame earlier than his siblings.
At 13, his world was changed a lot for the first time. He came home to find most of his mother's things packed and his parents fighting. It turned out that because of all the fame and 'benefits' that being a Warner entitled, his father had been having affairs for years. Nate, much like his mother, had never seen it coming. His relationship with his father would never be the same. So Marie Warner packed her things and was returning to her hometown in Paris, France. Nate made a decision whilst angry at his father and chose to go with her, as did his sister Abby.
He spent the next nine months living with his mom and Abby in an apartment in Paris. Again, he was reminded of the fun times in his past. Of course he couldn't speak any French, but he got by okay. Eventually, his father came all the way to Paris to beg for his mom back. Nate knew that she'd go back, he'd never seen her lonelier. So it was back to California for him and high school.
The next few years passed without too much incident. He was barely talking to his dad, but other than that things were as normal as they could be. Then he found his world changing again. He met Mai Valentine and he couldn't help, but be enthralled by her. Of course he fell in love and one thing led to another and she was pregnant. Nate was alright with it, a little scared, but his father never approved and still doesn't to this day even after meeting his grandson.
Time went on after that, Nate constantly being bombarded by his father's negative words about Mai and Caden until finally they decided to leave. An attempt to get away from the madness, they went to Canada. After a while things just weren't the same and while being away from his father was wonderful, being away from the rest of his family was not easy. So the decision was made to move back to California to see how things go this time around.
