Appearence:
Picture a small and stocky young woman with dark eyes, shaded the color of pitch-black night. Though, Winnie more so likes to describe her eyes as black as noir. It fits her, she agrees. Winona Satterlee is a natural beauty. Though small in stature, she is quite strong. Being a health-nut will do that to you.Personality:
While other girls are prone to starving themselves to be thin and look 'beautiful,' Winnie detests diets and the stereotypical 'beauty,' that society promotes. She, herself, has always been overlooked when it comes to appearance alone, never once fitting the criteria. Winona is by no means a wallflower. She wears a small amount of make-up here and there, though nothing too heavy nor eye-catching. She is a simple girl with a unique, classy, and ecletic style.
Having never been the skinniest of people, she has always found herself self-conscious around others. While other girls may have the classic "hour-glass figure," Winona's body is more so taut, and firm with strong muscles and little fat. Her chest is by no means large, nor is it too small and her hips are just a bit larger than average. By all means, her beauty is in the eye of the beholder. After all, beauty is only skin deep. It can be noted that Winnie has long dark brownish-black hair, and what some may call, a 'button-like' nose. She has high cheekbones that show especially when she smiles, showing off her pearly-whites and revealing two dimples, one on each cheek.
Winona Isolde Satterlee is very strong-willed and proud, but intensely private. She is not easy to know well. Behind her quiet exterior lies a great deal of emotional depth, sensitivity, complexity, and also fierce determination. When she wants something, she goes after it rather quietly, but insistently and wholeheartedly. She usually gets what she works hard for, and strives for.History:
It all starts with a dream for her, and that dream then becomes a goal. Winnie is the type of girl to reach for the stars, yet never let her feet leave the ground. Staying grounded is extremely important to her. She is, in many ways, what can be considered, an "eternal child." Her mind is bright, alert, curious, flexible, playful, and always eager for new experiences. Though, her attention span is often quite brief. This causes some to believe that Winona is flaky, which is far from the truth.
Winnie grasps ideas quickly and once her initial curiosity has been satisfied, she always has a habit of wanting to go on to do and learn something else. She is the type of person who craves frequent change, variety, meeting new situations and people. Winona is a loving and loveable person. If you ever asked her opinion of love, she would respond simply that there are many types of love to experience with friends, family, and a passionate soulmate. She truly believes in the soulmate principle and the thought that everyone has one. To put it simply, Winona believes that love is a passionate ideal that can only be achieved with a soulmate.
Always questioning and often insightful, Miss Satterlee can be considered as a typically fascinating and light spirited companion with a diverse knowledge of everything and nothing. Though, being so insightful comes with a price. Everything has multiple sides, and often maintaining a fixed viewpoint is the only thing which allows order to be made from chaos. This is how Winona operates. Those who do not know her so well would believe that this makes her two-faced, but this is not the case. The reality of the situation is this: she is extremely adaptable and open-minded, which makes it hard for her to have a stone opinion on certain topics. This leads Winnie to having multiple viewpoints of the same subjects.
As such it's sometimes hard for her to say 'the sky is blue' - when she knows it isn’t. Nothing is straightforward to her, and she may often get so buried in details that she can’t see the big picture. She's equally likely to excitedly explain about gas molecules acting as a wavelength filter than to notice the beauty of the end result. That is just the type of person she is.
Upon approaching the subject of her family history, Winona will give out small details here and there. If she truly trusts you, you'll know her life story before sun-down, with some information still kept secret. Though, that level of trust is hard to establish with her and can take years to build. Very rarely she will take to someone so fast on an emotional level. Usually, she will keep those who she has just met an arm's length away, keeping conversation light-hearted and away from the topic of her history.Sample Rp:
She would rather not throw down all of her cards onto the table for all to see. It's great to have a wild card here and there. Cutting to the chase, the way Winnie often begins the tale of her life goes something along these lines, "Once upon a time, a man met a woman. It was hardcore hatred at first sight, but then one thing led to another and soon enough, I came into the world." To summarize Winona's comical explanation, her parents- Roger and Elaine Satterlee (nee Caven) had had originally a hate-love relationship. It took them many years to finally understand the deep attraction that both felt for the other, until finally the dam broke and the hormones spread, making a huge wave in the ocean of love.
It was years later, that the two would tell their story to their three children; Isaiah, the oldest and firstborn son of the family; Winona, the middle child and firstborn daughter, and last but not least, little Alina. Growing up as the middle child was difficult for Winnie, but she made due. Having made many friends growing up, she liked to branch away from her family, though she still kept close at the same time. Having grown up all her life in the 'Garden State,' Winona grew to love the ever-changing seasons and the way nature seemed to respond to each change that the seasons brought with it.
For the most part, she led an average life, nothing too special nor out of the ordinary. Of course, she has had her fair share of hardships that she has overcome, but never has she delved in such a world as the one presented before her in Central High. Having only transferred recently to the school- having been forced to move from her beloved native New Jersey to California- Winona can honestly say the school has put a bad taste in her mouth. Established as an 'outcast,' Winnie has decided to keep to herself and just do her own thing, while watching over her brother and sister.
Celeb:
Some say she bares some kind of resemblance to a celebrity by the name of, "Maria Mena." Though, Winona disregards those statements as false. How could she possibly look like a celebrity? She is no one special.Out Of Character:
