Starting from the top, Liam can be described as a bit of a mess. But this mess isn't all that bad, just a little rough around the edges. In many ways the way he looks reflects the way he is rather well, somewhat scruffy, a little tough around the edges but still looking mostly good. His hair is dark, usually roughed up or somewhat spiked up. It is a long enough to be messy, but not too long so it still appears short. Most of the time, this dark tuft of hair is not brushed, just had a hand ran through it to make it look somewhat done, but that's the way he likes it.

Now to the eyes, they say that they are the window to the soul, and well with Liam they pretty much are, of the soul is where all the emotions and such are kept. They are blue, usually a deep blue, but they change. One glance at his eyes and anyone will be able to tell how he feels. Most of the time, when he is feeling normal, they are the deep blue that was mentioned before, but if he gets angry, they turn dark, almost black, and when he is upset or feeling letdown or something of the like, they are either a misty blue somewhat like a gray-blue, or they are simple light and sad looking.

Liam is quite muscular, some would swear that he works out, but no, he doesn't. He just does a lot of walking, and being mad and punching things. Though he is only slightly muscular, just enough for it to show up well, he can come across as rather intimidating, simply from his size. Clothing wise, Liam likes the casual side of it, in fact the casual side of everything does him well. Jeans and a tee shirt are just fine for him, and if they are slightly worn or ripped, he doesn't mind too much, unless it's rather large. On his feet he usually wears converse sneakers, but he can also be seen wearing other kinds of sneakers.

Personality:

Scruffy, rough around the edges but still nice. That pretty much sums Liam up, for the most part. Under this skin, there is a much more complex, complicated, troubled boy. First look, you'd probably want to steer clear of him, he looks like he could be trouble, like he could get you into a lot of trouble, and he could if he wanted to, but he most likely wouldn't meaningfully do it. He has this outer shell to keep himself protected, or that's what he tells himself anyway. He shows himself off to be a tough guy who will take no shit from anyone, and he is like that, but it's one of his smaller, not that dominant traits.

Liam is an alcoholic, he acknowledges that he has this problem, but won't do anything about it, or more truthfully doesn't know what to do about it. This problem of his gets in the way of so much, friendships, relationships and has caused him many enemies over the years. When he is drunk, even just slightly tipsy, he can be the biggest jerk you've met in a while, but at the same time, he can be sweet and caring as well, the later being quite rare. But the alcohol either brings out his bad side or his real and good side. He feels so much better when he is drinking, though he can feel that it's not doing him any good, he wants to give up, he just needs a little something to help him out.

He is somewhat a party animal, drinking and making a complete fool of himself, heaven right? No, he only goes to get out of the house and to get his hands on some of that magic liqueur. Liam is quite social, but at the same time he is rather shy, he wants to talk to people, but he is afraid of what they'd think of him, and that he'd get attached to them if he liked them. That is something else that he doesn't like about himself, if he likes the way someone comes across, he can get attached rather easily. In fact, he gets attached to people if they simply help him out. This has also found him a few enemies.

There is no way around it, he is a player. Many one night stands and no returned phone calls, he usually gets out of there before she wakes up, usually he leaves when she falls asleep. He does it to feel better about himself, but never with someone that he knows, or that he's known for more than a few days. He gets bored with the same girl for a night, so he is also known to ditch her and find another, many times in one night. He is also one to randomly hook up with someone at a party, guy or girl he goes both ways.

Underneath that hard outer shell that he's made himself lies a troubled, bothered boy that just wants to have a normal life and not put up with everything that he has to. His parents are constantly fighting, his mother is always off sleeping with other men, and his father is simply a jerk. Liam is a really nice guy, but it usually takes a lot to get him to show it. He hides himself because he is afraid that his father will look down on him because he isn't the tough, fighting guy that he wanted his son to be. he sometimes feels that he is a failure in so many people's eyes, but his father more so than anyone else. Liam is trying to find ways to support himself, a job and a place of his own, but it is proving to be harder than he first thought.

History:

Darren and Maria Williams lived in a small country house just outside of Chicago. That was, until they had a child and decided to move to the city itself. No-one knows what brought this decision around, since it would probably be better for the child to grow up in a country house than a city apartment. This child was Liam, and he is their only, well as a couple anyway. The first six years of Liam's life were spent in Chicago in a small apartment. It was half way through his sixth year that they moved, to Central. Going to a new school halfway through the year was hard, and for Liam, who was massively shy back then, it was even harder.

But he survived, but not without some parts of his life falling apart. It was clear from the start that his parent's were going to have a rocky relationship. They were fighting at least once a week, and over the smallest thing. But they never broke up, even through the really rocky times. When Liam was thirteen, his mother had an affair, and produced a child from it, she didn't keep it, she gave it to the father to look after, who was married and had other children. His wife left him and took her children with her, so he was stuck with this other child that he had never wanted.

It was when Liam hit middle school that it became clear that something just wasn't quite right at home and with most things. His grades dropped, he became mostly bitter, and his friends started ditching him. He became quite the loner, that was until he beat one of the school bullies up. He was pushing and pushing Liam and he snapped, beat the hell out of him, put the guy in hospital. Then people left him alone, and others hung out with him for some sort of protection, even though Liam said that he wouldn't do it again.

Then high school came along. It wasn't that bad, the school that is. His parents were still fighting, at each other's throats all the time, his mother constantly going off to sleep with other men, his father knowing all about it. Liam hates it, he wishes that they would just break up and be done with, but they have to hang onto one another and make his life hell. He is trying to find a way to support himself, a job and a place to live.

Amazing application as usual girlie (: Interesting about putting him in the punk clique. I like how one event of his history sort of changed him from a geek to a punk. His whole personality swung around, but it would be interesting to see if he somewhat crawls back to the geek clique if he pssibly finds love or something. Just something to think about. Accepted!
