Personality:
Key is rather short with C sized breasts that look larger on her small frame. Her skin is a rich carmel color due to her mother being white and her father being African American. Naturally she has short, black ethnic hair that is sometimes a little too hard to manage so she wears a weave that gets replaced every few months. Her eyes are a dark brown and her lips are always a fresh pink color. Keyalla's favorite feature about her face is her small mole on her right, high cheekbone.
There is a scar under her left eye from a fight that she got into. She has a tattoo of the number five on her lower back which she never reveals the meaning of. One thing people notice most about her is that she wears an ungodly amount of makeup. Keyalla's favorite accessory is her eyeliner and she never leaves home without lipgloss.
Keyalla's sense of style is the perfect outward description of who she is. Small tube tops that show off her belly button ring and tight Baby Phat jeans that excentuate her large buttox. Jewlery is almost as important to her as eyeliner. She will wear large hoop earrings and big rings. Key believes the studs on her fingers pack that extra snap when she throws a punch.
Manipulative: There is nothing Key loves more than proving that she is control since she wasn't a lot at the start of her life. She is swift and cunning with words and seems to turn any bad situation in her favor. Keyalla is bossy and outspoken. With her smile, her touch, and her charm for people she can melt anyone into the palm of her hand. It's a gift that will probably come back to bite her.History:
Vindictive: Keyalla Rochelle is addicted to sex. It doesn't matter who you are or where you've been if you're hot she'll tap you. Now that's not to say she's easy or anything, far from it. Although Keyalla has slept with many guys she's very picky and selective with who she lets in her pants. Of course that still doesn't keep her from being labeled a slut. Still no one messes with her about it because they know she'll mess them up.
Strong: Physically Key is tough as nails. She loves to do yoga, kick box, and bench press. Running is something she'll do if she's bored not just for her health. But besides physically she's emotionally strong. Keyalla keeps her emotions inside and never cries. She wears a mean expression on her face that softens around few people. But can you blame her with her past?
Soft: To the school and outside world she is the bad ass, slutty, druggie, fighter girl who you either love, hate, or avoid at all costs but inside she's a marshmellow. She'll never admit it out loud but Keyalla has a soft spot for puppies, homosexuals, lost causes and boy bands. Usually she's out partying but that's for the sake of her reputation. If she had a choice she'd much rather stay at home with a bowl of ice cream and good romance novel (avoiding the drama and stupid ex) but that's one part of her people will NEVER see.
Keyalla Rochelle Glenview was adopted by Sarah Michelle and Robert Morris Glenview. They were boring, roman catholic parents who were extremely strict on what she wore, who she hung out with and essentially the person she wanted to be. They meant well but were the typical suffocating parents. She resented them greatly and still does.Sample Rp:
From the age of thitreen years old she wanted to be free to do what she wanted and not be told what to do anymore. In a desperate act to find that kind of lifestyle she started to run with the wrong pack. They were vulgar and rebellious. It was different and exciting and Keyalla loved it.
At fourteen she was in eigth grade and hanging out with gangsters in high school. They changed her whole outlook on life as well as the clothes she wore and the words she spoke. She began to dress in tighter clothes and got things pierced. When she went out with them she drank and smoked weed just to fit in. That definitely put a bigger wall between her and her adoptive parents.
Fifteen was a hard year for her. That year she met Gabriel a high school senior who made her feel special. They were a couple within a month of knowing each other. She gave him her virginity and believed that she was really in love with him. He got her into more intense drugs, kept her out late, and eventually was the reason why Keyalla got kicked out of her house. She and her mother Michelle got in a huge fight while they were both under the influence. Key was high and her mother was drunk worried about her daughters life. Not in her right mind Key began to throw kitchen knifes, five in total (that's why she has the five on her back, for the five mistakes she could have made). Luckily they all missed her mother but she still never forgave herself for her behavior. She moved out that night and lived with Gabriel.
That's been two years and she's still living with Gabriel. He's a car washer by day and a drug dealer by night and with how much he brings in she doesn't have to work. She's tamed down a little but hardly. Key and Gabriel are no longer dating he's letting her stay there until after she graduates and she can find a place on her own. She only saw her mom one other time and that was how she got her scar. Michelle punched Keyalla and her wedding ring scratched under her eye deep. Key can't wait to graduate and she's only a junior. She's anxious to get out but is willing to make the best of it.
When Veronica came and sat down next to him he looked at the space between them. Part of him wanted to move closer to her but he knew that once he got there the chance of ever being able to stand his ground was going to be fatal. Maybe it was better to keep his distance at least for now. But still he wished that they could be close like before and that he could hold her in his arms again.Celeb:
She brought up his knee and he could feel tears stinging at the back of his eyes. It wasn’t so much from pain but more from the memory. He hadn’t even cried too much when it happened just screamed in agony until they could get him to the doctor. The only time Marcus ever cried was when he was going through old pictures about a month after his surgery and finally saw the ring he’d prepared to give her. It wasn’t an engagement ring, or he hadn’t intended it to be right away, but more of a promise ring. It was a symbol that he’d always be there for her no matter what and that he’d never leave her. It was ironic now.
Marcus cleared his throat and then looked at her. “It was a big tournament and I just wasn’t focused out there on the water. It was – it was the day that you left. I got out there and my heart just wasn’t in it. Then I hit the wave the wrong way. My feet stayed on the board as I started to fall. It was my body’s way of telling me to hold on but I just couldn’t. I was in the water and I couldn’t swim very well so I held onto the board and screamed for help until I finally got it. I tore it up pretty bad inside and I had surgery within a week. “
He paused briefly to clear his throat and continued, “I’ve been getting back in the water little by little but it’s not the same. Nothing’s the same anymore.” Marcus looked down and was happy that he got the story of the accident out of the way. He dreaded repeating it. So he asked her how she was to change the subject desperately.
When he found out that she was doing alright he smiled a little bit. At least she was moving on with her life which was more than he could say for himself. Marcus had skipped college and everyday he woke up, surfed, and then worked at the shop. If he wasn’t there he was out getting drunk. What kind of life was that?
As he predicted she asked how he was doing. That was something else he dreaded too. It was small talk and Marcus had never been good with small talk but here it was. “I’ve been alright. The shop’s doing good and I’ve been teaching some classes when I can.” That really was about all he had to his life. Surfing, sleeping, drinking, that’s it.
He once again looked at the cute little boy and smiled. What was he doing here with Vera? Possibly a relative or a day care thing she was doing while she was back. The possibilities were endless. He took his thoughts away from the child and looked at her, she was watching the ocean. Without her looking at him he was able to take time to examine her beautiful face. He wanted to touch her cheek, kiss her lips, go back in time and have everything be normal again. Why did life have to be so complicated? He then looked back out at the sea when she commented on its beauty.
“Yeah, it’s a great place to just come and think, relax. It’s like the real world doesn’t exist when you’re at the beach and all your problems just seem to disappear.” He looked at her again and leaned back onto his hands. It was true. In any other setting seeing Veronica for the first time would probably have sent him into a rage and he would have been stressed. The waves and smell of the ocean were calming him and he was thankful for that.
Once again he looked at the little boy and waving. She had that whole motherly aspect about her with him and it was endearing to him. Marcus even heard himself chuckle a little at the situation. “Who is that little guy?” he asked. Marcus had always loved kids and when he was young he begged his mom to have more kids so he wouldn’t have to be the youngest. That never happened. If he were to go to school he’d probably be a preschool teacher just because they were so damn adorable.
