MEET SHANNON McNAMARA. SEVENTEEN; SENIOR; REFORMED REBEL

FRIENDS || Shannon's very loyal and he's typically a friendly guy. Doesn't stress too much over people or, really, over anything to be fair. He wouldn't have too many close friends, I'm thinking only a couple that really know him/that he's really opened up to. Otherwise, he'd have heaps of acquaintances and partying friends. Fluff friends. He's not the sort to divulge much about himself so he might comes off as secretive or mysterious. But, for the most part, he's nonconfrontational and comes off as happy and a little dim-witted. Looks a little rough around the edges but he's a decent kid.

ENEMIES || I'm very open to this. Aside from the hard partying and serial dating, Shan's not really a typical 'Classic'. He doesn't feel the need to stick to stereotypes or be anything he isn't so maybe people in the upper cliques are not too keen on 'im. I'unno. He doesn't like fake people or people who try too hard. He's pretty careless and generally doesn't put too much stock in what people think of him or his actions which could go against him. He's an easy guy to get along with but he could still have plenty of enemies. I like these plots. They're fun. But it's late and my brain isn't being overly cooperative. He's got a bit of a drug habit but he's good at not letting that define him and tends to keep it under wraps.

LOVERS || Shan's favourite. I see plenty of ex's since Shannon is the sort to never be without a girlfriend. He's the sort who treats a girl like gold and he's almost puppy-like. He just wants to make the girl happy and, deep down, he just wants the attention/affection. Makes him feel important and whatnot. He's a total softie with girls and is a closet romantic. Yadda ya, not really a player type but definitely loves the ladies. I figure most of his relationships would've ended decently since he's the sort to keep in touch once things have ended. He's generally loyal. Between relationships he'd be the sort've guy for flings. The physical is nice but, in the end, Shan kinda thrives on the emotional bond even though it's tough for him to let people fully in. I'm open to this.

• Naima (obviously) - Hipster - Sarcastic but generally a chilled out, fun to be around girl. Doesn't really judge by clique or whatever, rarely gets angry but when she does she's a little spitfire.
  
• Whitney - Queen Bee - I think you can guess what she's like. Bitach, but since Shannon is a classic she'd probably be quite nice to him. Loves to live rich, be rich, let everyone knows she's rich and spread her wonderfullness. Doesn't take any shit.
  
• Theo - Jock - He's a sweet guy, can be a little cocky sometimes but again, quite nice. Doesn't really like the lower, lower cliques like the rebels and that, generally just because they're so bloody grumpy aha. Likes to party, lives for basketball.
  
• Richard - Classic - Impatient and doesn't want to waste his life. Tries to live it to the fullest, but can be a little frustrating sometimes and not compassionate enough.

okay. so i have seth and grace that would know him and perhaps get along with him, or maybe not.
seth is a rebel, eighteen, senior and the son of hardcore religious people. i was thinking that they could have been friends, and still be friends, or maybe because he moved to being a classic, they dont like each other anymore, i can see either happening so its kind of up to you.

grace is a rebel too, seventeen, a junior. she lives her life on one rule, doing things when she feels like it. she doesn't care much for what other people think or want, and is typically a bitch, unless she really likes you. she is still a bit of a bitch to her friends, and being her friend is hard. i was thinking that they could be ex's and still be friends, or something along those lines.

I could see them def being chill. Maybe they use to go to gigs and things together (hipster - I came to my own conclusion that she would be into music; i could be very wrong)? But now she's off at uni and maybe they've grown a bit distant since they wouldn't see each other on a daily basis. Just tossing that out there? They could still hang out on occasion, of course. What do you think?

I see a lot of potential here for friction and stuff. Shan's not the typical Classic and maybe she's just tolerate but doesn't think too much of him? Plus, going along with the whole possible o.n.s. thing, maybe they had a drunken one in the past and she was appauled with herself or something? And thus, it was kept very hush hush and it could fuel her dislike for him. Who knows, maybe she's just waiting to flick him to the lesser ranks? I can see Shan finding her irritating/annoying due to how she is but he's too busy going through the motions to express this. Just ideas? I love conflict?

Shannon would be pretty ambivalent here. He's not much into sports but, since they run in similar circles, he'd acknowledge him and everything. There's no reason for Shan to dislike him so he'd be pretty cruisey about it all. I don't see him and Theo being close, though, if even having much of a relationship at all imo.

So... Richard is fabulous. I like that he's a no nonsense sorta guy. I could see Shan respecting him even if they sometimes butt heads (they're pretty much opposites) - Shan's a bit careless/reckless with his life and is fine with having no direction which might get on Rich's nerves. Plus, Shan's more intuitive so Rich's lack of thought and compassion may give him the shits sometimes. I don't know how close they would be but I could see them hanging out due to their clique and all. My mind clocked off ages ago and there's no way I'm getting it back to work. I might come up with something witty or with some substance other than stating the obvious at a later date. But, yeah..

So, after reading over Seth's app, I can totally see these two being good/old friends. They could have been total hellions together when they were younger and they are both ambivalent to life ane everything. There's the religion thing (Shan's still conflicted and has yet to completely turn his back on God and such) as well; maybe Seth played a part in steering Shannon away from his faith. I'unno. Anyways, I could def see these two still being friends. Shannon does see the lines that separate cliques so he'd see no issue in keeping up their friendship. Oh, and if Seth ever happened to mention that his mum's ill with cancer it could have a massive impact on Shannon. Ug, really not being overly creative but, I dunno, I could see them being thick as thieves. Who knows, maybe Seth could drag Shannon out of his numb haze and make him return to his old ways?

Shan loves fiesty brunettes, so that would most certainly work and he tends to be linked to bitches. I'unno, he's drawn to them or something. Call him masochistic - he likes the abuse. Needless to say, her bitchiness wouldn't have gotten to him. He has a way of keeping things light so he'd just mess with her when she started getting really rude. But, yeah, they could have remained friends. I don't know how regularly they would hang out these days. Maybe on the odd occasion? My brain seriously doesn't want to work.
