Appearence:
Standing at five feet six inches, Maxx blends in with most people. Her hair colour isn't abnormal, a simmer blond with dark roots, usually a layered mess lingering on her shoulders, framing her face. Her eyes are usually rimmed with a faint line of brown eyeliner, hardly visible, with a little bit of mascara, making the gray texture of her iris' stand out more. Maxx's lips and skin are both fair in colour, however not extremely pale.Personality:
Maxx's body is rather slender, with a little muscle here and there. She keeps herself fit, working out whenever she has the chance, but doesn't over blow it and make herself seem extremely ripped. Her legs are lean and slim, her arms just the same. It's clear that she eats, her bones not sticking out from her skin, however she does have a good metabolism to keep up with how much she eats.
On most days, Maxx is seen in casual clothing. A pair of ragged jeans and a comfortable t shirt. She tries to keep things simple when it comes to her clothing, not over thinking her wardrobe before she puts it on. For shoes, it ranges from a pair of AC DC converse and a pair of combat boots. Jewelry isn't much of an option, unless it's the odd necklace or wrist band here and there.
For her hair, she generally wears it down in a messy bundle of straight strands. Rarely is it ever seen up, unless she's working out, cleaning, or working on a few things at her occupation. Even then, it's a simple pony tail, with her bangs tucked back behind her ears.
• Reckless; Maxx often finds herself doing things without a care for the outcome. She'll do something completely unheard of, like spitting a spit ball at the back of someone's head in a movie theater just because, and not think about the kind of trouble it can land her in. She speaks before she thinks, letting her tongue go free. She shoots before asking questions, and couldn't give a damn if she shot the wrong person. Even while serving her punishment for an action she should've thought over, she couldn't be bothered to care about what's about to happen to her.History:
• Adrenaline junkie; From skateboarding and snowboarding all the way to bungee jumping and rock climbing, Maxx finds it hard to lead a dull life. If she's not doing something fun and exciting, she feels like the world's coming to an end. She occupies her time with threatening and dangerous stunts for her amusement, usually pushing herself as far as she can go to make the best out of an injury. If you're gunna fall, you fall hard. She's never broken a bone from doing such stunts, though she's had countless dislocated joints, sprained limbs, and scraps. Several scars line her body from the impacts she's taken.
• Snarky; Maxx has an attitude, even if she doesn't express it most of the time. It's not that easy for her, having to bite her tongue whenever she wants to mention that someone is being annoying, but she does anyways. Starting things isn't her kind of deal, and until someone says something to her, she locks her attitude away. There has been the rare occasion that she hasn't been able to keep anything subdued, however.
• Protective; Maxx looks out for anyone she cares for; friends, family, anyone. Most of the time, she'd even go out of her way to help someone she doesn't even really know. She's always there to help pick someone up from their down mood, or be a steady shoulder for them to lean on.
• Sarcastic; There's nothing better than miss-leading comments and sentences that piss people off in Maxx's opinion. It's one of the highlights in her day, making people second guess things she says. Most people look too far into the things she says when they don't know her well enough to tell that she's pulling their leg, and watching them struggle to figure out what she meant by what she said is always fun to do. It's even more entertaining when she plays it off as though she's serious to see their reactions.
• Good sense of humor; Above anything else, Maxx knows how to have a good time. The ones closest to her know that extremely well. She can take a joke and laugh about it. Hell, she even laughs about herself with other people. The only time she's not pleased with jokes about herself is when some idiot she doesn't trust pipes up to try and 'lighten the mood'. But with anyone else? She'll tease, crack jokes, and laugh about anything she possibly can. Maxx has a small belief that this is going to be her only chance to actually have a life free from anything too heavy to hold up, and she'd rather spend it laughing about things like her flaws than pouting off in a corner because those flaws were there.
• Family Orientated; Family means the world to Maxx, and she doesn't let anything come between her and her relatives. Marrying and having kids is a dream that she doubts will come true, but just the thought of having her own children make her smile, and hold the family she already has tighter to her heart.
Born on October twenty-second into a damaged situation, Maxx was put through a stalled divorce while she was still leaning how to hold her head up without support. Theo, her Father, fought tooth and nail to win custody over Maxx, giving up practically everything he owned as leverage to keep his Daughter. After the court date was done, Theo started to pull more strings that he was capable of, and ended up almost getting fired because of the stress he was under while taking care of her, along side buying everything he lost in the divorce.Sample Rp:
However, despite their situation, and the lack of income and respect from his work and family, Theo made sure that Maxx was growing up in a happy house. The money stopped coming in as much, and they soon lost most casualties, but he always wore a smile on his face in front of his little girl. If anything, he at least wanted to teacher her some kind of self confidence, that it wasn't wrong to smile even though things were bad. That she could be strong while everything else around her was falling apart. Every spare second he had, and even some seconds that he couldn't afford to give, he spent with his daughter, laughing with her, making her understand that they were going to be alright.
It wasn't until Maxx was seven that she finally started realizing the harsh truth about her situation with her Father, and why her Mother was never around. Even though her Father hid the sorrow and grief he was going through, Maxx somehow knew what was bothering him, and took it out on herself. She became miserable, knowing that behind closed doors, her Father was miserable also. Everything she did was independent, to try and make his life a little bit easier if he didn't have to take care of her as well. It didn't work out well- she fell off the kitchen counter while trying to grab herself a bowl out of the cupboard and ended up twisting her ankle. Theo, obviously, wasn't too happy about her stubborn traits.
As Maxx grew older, she started to understand the small hints her Father was leaving in their conversations. The reasons as to why her Mother hadn't wanted to be with them any longer, and why he was getting laid off of his jobs so much. She was mentally maturing at a fast pace, but didn't mind that her Father was too busy trying to keep a roof over their head to notice. As soon as she could cross the street without holding his hand, she had been looking for reasons to make money. Baking and selling cookies to their Neighbors, taking care of families pets when they needed it on the weekends, even tried her hand at working a lawn mower to cut a few lawns.
By grade nine, Maxx was realizing more of the reasons as to why her Father wasn't that happy anymore. Things were getting worse, and not just with their family. The entire city was falling apart, people being shot, things being stolen, babies being abortioned and the planet slowly showing signs that it was withering away, one day at a time. The world was just as miserable as she was, and as comforting as that might have seemed to someone else, Maxx wasn't all that pleased with the knowledge.
Among the horrors of high school, Maxx got a job working at a car shop. She didn't do much under the hood, mainly just kept the place tidy from grease and oil stains, occasionally arranging appointments for cars to come in and parts to be bought. When things were slow, and she was done doing what she needed, the male who hired her would usually explain the complexity of what he was doing on the car he'd be working on. Usually it was just brake changes, or a battery replacement, but he spoke a lot about the engines and controls. Cars weren't as fascinating for her as he most likely would've liked, but she hardly complained about it. Unless he was being an ass and making her feel stupid.
As the stress from home grew, the relationship with her Father and her slightly pulling her down, as well as the stress from school and work increased, Maxx picked up a lot of nasty habits. Smoking, drinking. Her life was turning from bad to worse, and Maxx couldn't care less. She knew that there wasn't anything better for her, so giving into the sin that life held seemed to be the only thing she felt she needed to do next. It'd be pointless to waste the rest of her life trying to work off her ass for money that wouldn't cover any of the expenses her Father had, her schooling was already drowning under the pressure of her stepping on it. If her life was going down, she wanted to enjoy the ride while she still could.
Surprisingly, she passed high school. Either the teachers hated her too much to want her around, or she hadn't tried hard enough to kick high school in the ass. Another surprise, she got into a college. Nothing fancy, and hardly affordable, but her Father insisted. Maxx agreed, only to keep him happy, and found herself hating life even more as soon as her first day of classes began. The only thing that seemed to ease the stress of classes and home life was a guy she met not too soon before college had started. Who was he? Some asshole by the name of Kane Diesel.
Luckily, or maybe not so lucky, she was hit by his car soon after her first month of enrolling into college. He almost killed her, landed her int he hospital. She wasn't released for quite a while, barely able to move even after she started to heal fully.
The hysteria of Detroit was annoying, and as soon as Maxx could carry herself again, she got out of there. After getting in touch with her cousin, Joey Evans, she moved out to California to kick back with him, and see where her life takes her.
