The Plot
It has been a very short time since Kalona and his Minion, Neferet were banished from Tulsa. Kalona's Raven Mockers have left with him and we wish we could say that all is well. Zoey and her friends have returned to the house of night in hopes of restoring it back to order.
The House of Night is not like it used to be. There are very few people that are not under the influence of Kalona and Neferet and of those few they are sticking together. Those that are completely corrupt due to Kalona's influence, hate everything about Zoey and despise what she and her friends stand for.
Zoey doesn't know who to trust outside her circle of friends. She sleeps with Stark or Heath every night just to prevent Kalona from entering her dreams yet, Kalona still can figure out ways of getting into them. Kalona is still convinced that she is A-ya incarnate and he is determined to compel her into yielding to his will.
Zoey and her friends have a lot to do to prepare for the inevitable battle against Kalona, his followers and the Raven Mockers.
Currently, the Red Fledglings have entered the Tulsa House of night but they are not staying with the blue fledglings. Instead they are staying in the basement where they have a nice set up free from the sun. They are trying to blend in and they are constantly battling the darkness that refuses to leave them alone. Eric, Stark, And Darius have all taken up various jobs around the house of night just to prevent anything from happening to their future High Priestess, Zoey Redbird.
Stevie Rae is the High Priestess of the Red Fledglings yet she doesn't know everything about being a Vampyre. She is currently going to classes to improve her knowledge. She is also visiting and talking to the Rogue Red Fledglings in hopes that they will make the right choice and be good.
We don't know what is going on with Kalona and Neferet but we believe that they are seeking out the High Priestess's Council in hopes of corrupting them into making Neferet their new High Priestess.
What will Zoey and her friends do to prevent this from happening, and will good win over evil?
