April never quite grew out of her adolesent style, actually she wear some of the same clothes she did when she was fifteen and sixteen, before she had the baby of course. She dresses usually in black jeans and a some sort of punky t-shirt, or band tee, but if she feels fancy she'll put on a skirt and tights. April never wears dresses, they just feel too weird to her, like theres something seriously missing from her clothing.

April has a thing for her her hair, she doesn't dye it but she likes putting clips in it and colored hair extensions. sometimes she'll put her hair into a messy ponytail if she is angry or feeling overly cozy. Her hair is no-fucking-around black and thick, and the longest part of it is nearly half way down her chest. In the back of her hair is a few choppy layers but aside form those her actual hair isn't that fancy.

Her skin is pretty pale but with a weird tone in it that makes it seem like washed out brown, which isn't that surprising considering her middle eastern heritage. Her and her brother are the palest in the family, but her brother barely seems like he has any of that washed out brown in his skin which she envys.

Her face is a little long, with a nicely pointed chin and nice cheek bones. April wishes she hadn't plucked her eyebrows when she was in her middle teen years 'cause now they look a little scary, but she tries to remedy that with a little pencil. Her eyes are a murky brown color that she absolutely hates, she often wears colored contacts because of how much she dislikes it. People have said her eyes are pretty but she always disagreed with them, to her they look like swamp water.

All through April's life she had always been quite thin and average height after she had had Oksana, the baby weight had stuck to her ribs pretty well. She had nearly been noticably overweight but when started getting into drugs she lost some it. Now a days she is at a fine weight and doesn't really care much, she tries and stays healthy for her and Oksana.

April has four ear piercings in each of her earloebs and she has a barbell in the center of her tongue. Sometimes April has no necklaces and no bracelets, and sometime she has a shit ton of random ass things around her neck and wrists for fun. okay, each has a story but they are still quite odd.

The things that April does always have is jewelry in her piercings, and the rings on her fingers. She has four of the things and each one signifies something different. On her left hand on her ring finger she had a band of yin yang symbols fused to together. she really likes the idea of a balance in life and she also really likes the symbol visually and likes to adorn herself in them. Again on her left hand pointer finger she had a rose attached to it's stem wrapping around her finger with many thorns poking out if it. It was a ring that her mom gave to her when she was a teen and told her to where it when she became eighteen, which is what April has been doing. On her right hand thumb she has a simple band of metal with a stripe of woods in it that used to be her brothers. And finally, the last one. A snake biting it's own tail on her right ring finger which reminds her of the stupid shit she has done in the past.

April also has a tattoo that wraps around her right hip bone that she got a few days after she turned eighteen. Her tattoo is her daughter’s name in fancy cursive lettering. It’s simple black ink and is a few inches long, not a crazy dragon or something, just something little, but very special to her. Oksana had actually been there when she had got it done; she had been nearly perfectly quiet, clinging to her nanny’s leg in fear of what those scary tattooed people were doing to her mom. After it was done Oksana agreed that it actually did look pretty good.

Personality:

April isn't very loud, but she can be kind of outragous even when bieng quiet. She has a love for dirty jokes, sarcasm mixed with sweet hearted comments. Even if her comments are that your crooked teeth are really cute, she means it, and defenitly in a sweet way.

She ends up appreciating and noticing the weird little things in people, and she will tell you if your acne makes you look better, she may get really flustered when you get offended or give her strange looks which she has learned to excpect.

This chika is pretty upfront when she wants to tell you something or she notices something about you, and she always means it but rarely in any kind of offensive way. Mostly it’s just pointing out that your lip ring is crooked and she wants to know why, or what’s the story behind the scar on her cheek. The counterpart to that is that when being playful, April likes to be vague and misleading, maybe even a little manipulative, but playfully of course. She would never force anyone to do something she wanted, or try hard to get them to do it if they didn’t want to.

April strongly believes in being honest and doing what you said you would do. ‘Cause she believes in this she is often hesitant to make an agreement until she has thought about if she’ll actually do it or not. It makes sense to April that tin order to be a really good mother you have to be an all around good person, and she really tries to be. She kind of sees it as making up for when she wasn’t being honest or good at all and was an awful mother.

Something that April would like to learn to do is think before she says something since she tends to say exactly what’s on her mind and it offends people a lot and she ends up needing to explain herself and even then people have never really talked to her again after something like that happening. She really doesn’t mean things in an offensive way that’s just how they come off. April has kind of mastered the ability to think before she does something reckless which is a lot better then she used to be but she feels like she still needs to work on some things.

When April feels strongly about something she will accept your opinion, most of the time, unless of course it is super ridiculous, or you tell her that her opinion is wrong, then she will kindly or not so kindly inform you of all the reasons she actually is right. A lot of the time she gets into a heated debate over something she feels really strongly about she will end up getting quite emotional, remain pretty factual and try and avoid insults, but like, starts crying ‘cause she is so angry. April usually ends up crying if she feels an emotion quite strong, she can’t really help it, it just happens.

April can be a little shy sometimes but is still nice to people, and it doesn’t take a whole lot of time for her to get comfortable with a stranger. She is a pretty trustful person and isn’t secretive about herself really, well most things she doesn’t see a need to keep quiet. She won’t parade around personal facts about herself but generally will tell you things about herself you ask.

She has a odd perception of reality in soem areas, it just 'cause she was so in the dark about some things when she was younger and learned about them in different ways then msot people did. Like how she doesn't really understand why incest is againt the law, or why only eighteen and older can look at porn. Okay, so most of her misconceptions are based around sex and the like, but she is kind of learning why things are the way they are, kinda.

History:

April was born in the late afternoon, in the hospital that her father worked for. Her birth was a difficult one, she ended up coming out feet first but she survived and was healthy. Alot of family members came to see her in the next three hours, more than the hospital wanted there but they managed to get past the hospital personel. April, just four hours old was passed from mother to father to aunt to grandfather ect. A birth in the family was where everyone is invited to the hospital room and takes turns to hold the baby.

Up until April was almost two her life was pretty normal. She had a kind of perfect white picket fence life, with a puppy and a mother and a father. All normal until her mother and her father decided to get a divorce. Her father was really strict and her mother detested the way he wanted to parent, so they split up. Her father ended up getting custody of April, mostly ‘cause he had more money and was more suited to take care of her then her mother.

In the next year her father re-married a woman named Marissa who shared April’s father’s opinion on parenting.
She had a son named Taylor form a previous marriage and they all moved in together quite quickly and just kind of became a family. Marissa’s ex husband is actually April’s dad, Rusko’s brother’s ex wife, so Taylor is actually partly related to April and her father.

April’s father, Rusko, made April call Marissa mom, and Marissa in turn made Taylor call Rusko dad. April never saw her birth mother and Taylor never saw his birth father, in fact both of their parents literally pretended that April and Taylor were blood siblings and they Marissa and Rusko were the birth parents of both of the children. That’s how April and Taylor actually grew up. For nearly all of their life they thought that they were sibling and didn’t remember their birth parents from when they were much younger.

As a kind of young kid April didn’t really have many friends. She just didn’t really get a long with many people, she liked to watch people as a kid and just kinda study them. When she went to public middle school, she hated all of it and got terrible grades. She thought her classes were boring and the teachers sucked, April just dreaded school every week day. After a few months of this her parents decided to home school her and pulled her form public school while Taylor stayed.

April and Taylor ended up being best friends actually, they spent pretty much all their time together. Taylor didn’t have many friends either and had lots of free time outside of school to hang out with his sister. They were only a year and a half apart so they could relate pretty well to each other even though they were siblings. During their high school years they were absolute best friends and did everything together when Taylor wasn’t at school, even when some of Taylor’s friends would come over April was almost always invited in on the fun. She is pretty sure that’s where she gets her dirty sense of humor from.

So a lot of nights April and Taylor would sneak into each others room at night and spend the night in each others bed which wasn’t weird for them at all ‘cause they were so close, also ‘cause they actually lead a quite sheltered life, or at least April did.


Their parents never talked with their children about sex or dating or anything of the sort and since April wasn’t getting a lot of contact with the outside world she was getting practically nothing but the things her brothers friends talked about what she never really understood. When April had started menstruating her parents had to tell her what was happening since she freaked out and thought she was going to die, and even then they kind of lied to her about it. They told her it was just something that happened to girls and had no special use thinking that if she was uneducated nothing would happen, well weren’t they wrong.

So one Friday night April laid with Taylor in his bed talking late at night and April isn’t really quite sure what happened but they ended up having sex. Since April had no idea that she wasn’t supposed to have sex with her brother and she was all filled with hormones and weird things she didn’t know what to do with she wanted to do it again, especially after Taylor told her it would feel better the next time that they did it, and there was a next time, lots of them. A few months after April’s sixteenth birthday Taylor called home from school to talk to April quickly, he told her to buy a pregnancy test and not to tell anyone about it or let anyone see it and that he would explain it all when he got home.

April followed his instructions and when he got home and told her he had just found out how babies were made. April nearly had a heart attack when she realized what her and Taylor had done could make a human grow inside of her belly. She immediately took the test and actually passed out for a few minutes when it was positive. Taylor flipped out and ended up bolting out of the house to go take a walk to think about the crazy shit that was happening. While he was out April was beside herself with panic and was bawling in her room by herself on her bed, Marissa came down to see what was wrong and since April was terrified she told Marissa.
Instead of being supportive, Marissa was repulsed and quite angry. Marissa dragged April upstairs by the hair and screamed at her to tell her father what had happened. April did and he was just as furious as his wife was. They told her that she had to get an abortion but April didn’t want to kill what was growing inside of her, she was terrified of it but she loved kids and loved the idea of having one of her own. To her it would be like murder to kill something living inside of her, which she would not stand for what so ever.

Her parents said since she wouldn’t have an abortion then she had to move away fro the house and was no longer considered apart of the family. April was heartbroken but she did choose to move away from the house and be separate form the rest of her family. Hours after this had been decided Taylor came back to the house, his parents shouted at him but he didn’t listen to them. He just packed his things and left again, he did say on his way out that he was sick of this place and he hated his parents. April was just completely overwrought with emotions and it made it so much worse when Taylor left. He the the only person April was really close to and he was gone, AND he was the father of the baby inside her.

In the text few weeks April completely moved out of the house and into a small apartment on the other side of town where they send her monthly allowance but never talk to her. April figured it out that she needed to go to a doctor and found out she was nearly a month pregnant. The doctor explained to her everything she needed to know and gave her the numbers to a few different midwifes to think about. April was careful not to tell the doctor anything about being kicked out or Taylor or any of it, she was just to unsure of what would come.

Throughout her pregnancy April was kind of alone, her brother somehow found her and visited once to see how things were going but April was so sad to see that since the last time she had seen him he had started drinking a lot and was drunk most of the time. It was just awful seeing her brother like that, it completely changed who he was around her and she wasn't sure if she liked it.

April met some women who she liked when she went to pre-natal yoga class, but they were all much older and sometimes looked at her strangely, but some were really helpful and the ones who had had babies before gave her tips on giving birth. The whole idea of giving birth scared the shit out of April but also was really exciting for her.

In the next few months she found out she would be having a little girl and was ecstatic, she didn’t really enjoy lugging around all this extra weight and not eating certain things but damn did she want to be a mother. She followed all the doctors instructions on what to do since she wanted er baby to be as healthy as possible. The rest of her pregnancy went uneventfully, everything was greet more or less, everything was normal and fine. April was quite lonely and sad since most of the time she was a lone but she got through it fine.

Oksana was born in the early hours of the morning perfectly in the pregnancy ward in the hospital, it was quite painful for April but also was quite beautiful all at the same time. Oksana was born a little early was born completely healthy and there were no complications. April absolutely loved her little girl and it was a little weird to have no one there completely freaking out over her child she was still very happy none the less.

The next seven months went by quite smoothly for April, well as smoothly as they could. Everything was fine more or less but April was getting quite stressed out with Oksana and wasn’t sleeping well. It got a little brighter when Taylor came to visit her and Oksana. Oksana was kinda weirded out by him but what else would they expect, she was like that around everyone but her mother.

While Taylor was there he gave April some white powder and told her it would make her feel good if she snorted it. April trusted her brother a lot but was kind of worried about what it was and how it would make her feel. April told her brother that but he told her it would be fine and she could do what she wanted with it but it would make her feel good. She knew the white powder was a drug but she really didn't know a whole lot about them or what they did.

She kept it for a for a little not doing anything with it, but then one night while Oksana was asleep April did snort the white powder, quite badly and it burned a lot but it made her feel amazing. She absolutely loved it and wanted more.

That's when everything went downhill for April. She went out looking for drugs and ended up sleeping with a lot a lot of guys to get them so she a lot of nights would get home with a strange guy , the nanny would leave and then April would check up on her baby, then have sex with guy and he would give her drugs. This went on for about a month and April's parenting was seriously lacking which April felt bad about but also she loved how the drugs made her feel and didn't realize how harmful they were.

While Oksana was at daycare and April was home hanging around there was a knock at the door. She answered it and found a middle aged woman who looked quite tired but had a huge smile on her face. The woman told April that her name was Denise, and that she was April's birth mother. April didn't believe her at first but as Denise explained on it got more convincing. April could see the resemblance between the two of them and it just kind of made sense.

For a long time they talked, about everything that had been happening in April's life, since that had a lot of time to make up for. April told her everything that had happened with Taylor and about Oksana, and the drugs, and that she was so confused about all the things that were happening in her life right then. Denise took a lot of it pretty calmly, all except the drugs, when April had mention them Denise made her swear to never to do them again and told her all about the awful effects of them. April grudgingly agreed but she did want to be a better mother and it seemed apparent that drugs were not apart of being that.

After that April only did do a drugs a couple more times and she started paying more attention to her daughter and not leaving her in daycare all day. Denise started being a regular visitor and often helps with Oksana. For a while after that April was completely furious at her dad and Marissa for it all, and Taylor wasn't really her brother it jut drove her crazy but since then she has come to not be so angry about it.

April now works in a cupcake shop called Cupcake Showdown part time and plans on going to college once Oksana is a little bit older. Her life is much better now and she actually has friends which is quite the improvement. She is still getting used to the world after being sheltered for so long but she is doing pretty well..

AMAZING! I actually loved reading every little thing in your app. The history was beautifully done and I love how it gave you complete insight into why she's done the things she's done. The brother/sister thing and how naive they were is a wonderful twist aswell. I cannot wait to see her in action love.
