Appearance:

Valan has an extremely unique appearance, but all in all, this musician can only be classified as hot. All lines and muscles, it is obvious Valan is good at keeping in shape. But it’s hard to go and explain it section by section, so let’s work this out. From the top down. Valan is handsome, his hair is often seen styled long, till he becomes annoyed with it, and cuts it shorter, but he is rarely seen with it died, preferring the gorgeous, dark brown-almost black, hair. It tends to shimmer with an almost silvery gray-blue color. Moving down, you have his incredibly handsome face. Strong thick lines, a subtle jaw, and evenly spaced eyes is what you get, though his ears are often called small. He has narrow eyebrows, more narrow then what appears on most guys. He has a common nose, slightly wide at the bottom, and cheekbones that neither stand out, nor blend in. His chin is thick, and the bottom part of his oval shaped face. He has gorgeous soft brown-often described as amber-eyes, that are surrounded by the dark eyelashes, long and often described as unfair by most women. They are incredibly warm, and welcoming, and often can be described as emotional eyes. He has general lips, a normal top, but a slightly fuller bottom. He has a single lip right on the right side of his bottom lip.

He is well filled in the chest, large, powerful shoulders, muscles that bulge slightly, and when he goes shirtless, you will see just how well built he is. His shoulders are padded with muscles that bends down to the well muscled, lean lines of his arms, and into thick, large hands, and long fingers. His chest is well muscled, as can be seen when he is shirtless. His chest moves into the finely chisled lines of his abs, and into the flat stomach, and in-turned belly button.

He has the simple, slightly flared hips of most guys, and what is described as a mostly flat butt, just enough hip and butt to hold his jeans loosely up. His legs are muscled, but with leaner lines, more hidden muscle than muscle that is seen. His legs are long, and makes up most of his height. He has slightly large ancles, and large feet, a size 11 in mens shoes.

Valan has quite the looks, as well as quite a style. The rocker in him keeps him with tee-shirts with phrases, or pictures imprinted upon them, as well as simple black or dark blue jeans. These jeans vary in style between bootlegged, to straight, to skinny jeans. He almost always has converse on, as well as a sweatshirt or a jacket of some sort. And finally a silver necklace, with a picture of a certain ginger haired girl, whom he still holds very dear in his heart.

And finally, tattoos and piercings. Now, this boy has his lip pierced, as mentioned before. But what hasn't yet been mentioned is the tongue piercing, a simple bar with balls on either in, simple silver with no crazy designs. His right ear has the cartildge pierced as well. Now for tattoos. Around his right bicep, he has a very artistic tribal band surrounding his entire arm. He has no other tattoos and piercings.

Personality:

Valan is quite the guy, personality wise. And he has many terms combined with his name, some good, some bad. So let’s see how well we can describe his persona to you. Let’s start by separating it out into characteristics hmm??

Let’s start with Mysterious. Now Valan loves appearing to by mysterious, and he defiantly has that part of his personality down. If there is anyone more mysterious, and handsome than he, it’d be a rare thing. Valan doesn’t like talking about himself, or really saying anything of any kind, really. He’s a rather quiet fellow. But when he does speak to others, he can often be described as extremely intellectual, or else he’s an extreme goofball. Valan is a music driven soul. He loves music, and they way it can be found in anything. It is also the reason he met his first and still-only love. Music is like his lifeline, and if he isn’t strumming a guitar, he’s listening to a cd, or his ipod. Music surrounds every aspect of his life, and Valan isn’t shy to admit it. He’d rather have a passion, than be passionate.

Valan happens to be one of those Hopeless Romantics, oh yes, this boy loves a good romance. He’s the type of old fashioned boy who would bring you flowers for no reason, would open the car door for you, pull your chair out. He’d be the type to call you beautiful instead of sexy, and hold your hand rather than around your waist. He’s they type of guy who would spend hours on the phone with you when your said, even if you aren’t talking. He’s also the type of boy who would prefer to be your boyfriend than your lover. He isn't the type of guy who wants to just be in a relationship for the sex. He wants to find that one right girl, which is why he tries so hard to be the perfect guy, so that when she comes along, or when he gets her back he won't lose her again. You want to know what comes with being a hopeless romantic, the fact he’s a sweetheart. This boy is just adorable, all kindness, and sweet words, soft smiles, and respect. He’s one of those rare guys that won’t talk to you just so he can stab you in the back, or just try to get sex. No, this boy is to good hearted for that.

But even sweethearts have flaws, and Valan’s biggest flaw is that he’s so over protective, it can sometimes be called over bearing. And he’s extremely protective a certain girl, whom can get him all tongue tied, and awkward. But despite it all, and even the time apart, Valan still cares deeply for her. Valan also has a slight temper, that isn’t often spiked. Only when someone says something disrespectful, or if they’ve done something against Valan’s morals. But he tries to hide his anger, even if he sasses them when they look away. Valan is one of those few, extremely honest people. He prefers honesty, following the phrase, ‘Honest is your best policy’ to a t. He can’t help it, it was the way he was raised. It’s better to be honest, even if it hurts some one, than to lie, and make it hurt them more, later on. And he is a strong promoter, to let others know, that they aught to be honest, rather than lie, as well.

Valan also behaves a little differently depending on whom he is talking to. Around older people, he tends to hold a lot of respect, even if he back talks them when they look away-which only happens when they have done something to upset him. He is extremely respectful speaking with ‘yes ma’am’s and ‘no sir’s type of thing. He respects older individuals, not just because they are his elders, but because they have more wisdom than he.

Around people his own age, other college kids, Valan is more laid back, more easy going and fun. Though he’s rather quiet, and not so open about himself, he can still be a fun guy to have around. He’s a slight rebel, and loves to hang out at parties. He’s an incredibly fun person to have at parties to, because when he gets drunk, he tends to open up more, and become a much easier person to be around. He becomes a little louder, and a lot more funny. Around girls his age, he tends to be Mr. Perfect, and is often described as a Casanova, though it is a complete accident. A lot of girls just seem to be attracted to him. He is very sweet, and kind to all girls, treating them with respect. Around guys he’s more of ‘guy.’ A little louder, more willing to be out and having fun. That sort of thing.

Around younger kids, he tends to be gentler, and quieter. He loves kids as well, and wouldn’t mind some, even a family of his own someday. But the first goal he has right now, is to find his first love, Zoe, and try to fix everything that he has done wrong.

Now every one has hates, likes, and even secrets, and that is the biggest part of a personality, yes? Well our boy here has quite a few of each. He loves art, music, and especially playing his guitar. Since he was little he has always been in some sort of band or another, though he hasn't stuck to one for long since an incident that involved the girl whom he loved walking away from him, because she thought she saw something that wasn't. He loves rain, and thunderstorms. But with ever like, you tend to have a hate.

Now Valan isn't fond of obnoxious people, nor the girls who try to get what ever they want just by flaunting their looks. He hates, absolutely despises, the snow, and isn't all that fond of the mountains-with their cold temperatures. He is not fond of the cold at all. He'd even go as far as wear even the ugliest of scarfs, just to avoid being chilled. Which is why he wasn't upset at all, bu the idea of transferring to Central College, in California to find Zoe, and make everything up to her.

Now for secrets, everyone has them. Valan doesn't really have any secrets from his past, what with his decent childhood. But his biggest secret isn't so much a secret, well at least, not to him, or the girl it involves-or so he hopes. Since he was a lot younger, he's been either into a real deep crush, or possibly in love with his former band mate, Zoe. And even though they parted ways many years ago, he can't help but still be in love with her. Which is why he has come here, as stated before, in hopes of setting things right, and finally getting his girl.

History:

Valan was the oldest boy in his family, and like all oldest kids, he was always the one who watched over his younger brother, tried to be the good kid for his parents. That sort of thing. He was extremely close to his brother, and this was evident, especially in the younger years. So let's see how well we can break this al down.

Valan was born on September 23rd, only about 2:32 pm. Being the first born son, his parents where over joined, and he was one of those kids who were always kept close, always carried. His grandparents, as well as his parents where always playing with him, giving him toys that sort of thing. When he was nearing a year old, his parents decided they wanted to try for a sibling. by the time he was months from turning two, his parents brought home his new little brother.

Now Valan immediantly stepped into the older sibling role. He was always watching over his little brother-which was the start of his over protective personality. Though it really showed when he was 9, his brother was 8, and was being bossed around on the playground. Valan immediantely stepped forward, and stood up for his brother, eventually resorting to wrestling the bully away from his little brother. When he was called into the office later that day, he was let off because of the fact he was only playing the role of over protective older brother, and the fact that he never actually hit the bully.

This was also the year that Valan came clean to his family about learning to play the guitar. He absolutely loved it, and had been studying how to play it by a friend's father. His parents accepted his passion with the guitar, buying his first one, and sending him to have lessons from a professional teacher.

When he was 15, he first started a band, his brother-who'd since learned to play the drums-became drummer, he was guitarist, another friend was on the bass, and his friend's girl friend became a singer.

When he turned seventeen, problems came up, when their singer had to move away. He needed another singer, and soon, if they were going to make their gig in the next week, so the band started advertising for a new singer.

This is how he first met Zoe. She had been living in the same apartment complex with her mother, and had seen one of the flyers, and came to audition. It wasn't long before all the members agreed that she was the one whom needed to be their singer.

They went from gig to gig, each time their names becoming bigger, and bigger, till a small label was sitting in to one of their shows, and decided to sign them. They soon began touring around the US. This was also the time that Zoe's dad decided that he was ready for a 'daughter,' though Valan could have sworn the man only wanted to accept custody do to the fact that he wanted the money they were getting.

It wasn't long after that both Zoe and Valan began to notice their attraction to one another. Of course they never actually spoke on these feelings, but they did hint at it. But trouble was arising in the group, do to her dad trying to talk them into having him be manager, giving them hookers and sending groupies to the boys. It was one of these groupies that had attacked Valan, practically molesting him, when Zoe walked into his trailer. Catching the two together, and thinking that she was seeing Valan make out with some groupie, she ran stormed out of the bus, and left, never looking back. Valan was devistated, more for the fact that she didn't even get to explain to Zoe what had happened. That it had been the groupie who came onto him, and attacked him, and it wasn't him kissing her back that he saw, but rather him pushing her away.

A year has passed, and for that entire year Valan has been trying to find Zoe, desperate to fix what had happened between them, because the moment she left, he realized just how much he cared for her. Now he's twenty, and has transferred to Central College, to study Musical Performance. And naturally, he was shocked to have seen what appeared to be Zoe, walking to class, on his first day in campus. Now, he just hopes he can meet up with her, convince her to talk to him, and then everything will fall in place with a fairy tale ending.

If only fairy tales where real life.
