Appearence:
she's a shortiePersonality:
Khristian's been a shorty all her life. She was born premature, and just sort of never grew out of it. However, she does have a partial explanation. She has a real-life condition. She stopped growing at the age of seven until her parents thought something was up and took her to a doctor specifically for her size. She slowly started growing again and was growing like a regular person by the age of ten, almost eleven. Now, at sixteen, she's just considered short.
her smile can brighten your whites
Khristian has a smile that can light up a room. People who know her hate to see her down, and love to see her smile. Since her dad's a dentist, she and her brother have perfect teeth, and she'd like to keep it that way. Khristian is a girl who loves to smile and show off her pearly whites. Not that she's a show-off or anything, just because she loves to be happy and generally smiling and laughing are a synonym to being happy. She has thin, but pretty lips. Every morning Khristian puts on lipstick or lipstick, not much, but enough to help them be noticed. But instead of carrying around her lipstick everywhere, she carries SoftLips, it's like chapstick only better. She keeps her lips soft and her teeth white. She's always got that cute smile to brighten your day.
Eyes with an emotion of their own
Khristian's eyes are an enchanting color of brown and green mixed in the most beautiful way. Those eyes are the same ones that drew Zack in the first time he saw her, that and her smile, but this is about her eyes, right? Her eyes that can calm wild mustang when mixed with her soft voice and gentle nature. When you look at her eyes, it's as if the world just melts away and all you can see are these two eyes that you can tell anything to, that will only be honest and trustworthy.
Skin As Smooth As Silk And A Body To Match
Being from North Carolina, and near the beach, it's only natural that Khristian has a, well, natural tan. It's beautiful, radiant, and just hers. Now, don't get me wrong. It's not one of those tans that's really dark, so much that it looks unnatural. And, it's not always picture-perfect. But one of the reason why Khristian loves California is becuase, just like North Carolina, it has beaches and sun and can let her keep her tan looking amazing. But, Khristian has to be careful because if she doesn't keep it up, she can get a little pale. It's not too bad, but it's not great, either! As for her body, she's generally very small. It started back when she hit her first wave of depression, it wasn't strong, but she just didn't eat much and started to lose a pound or two a week. She eventually got back to normal, but then it started all over again, and this time worse. She was hospitalized for two weeks. She's still not at an average weight, but she's not considered anorexic anymore.
Khristian, Khristian, Let Down Your Hair
Khristian has a full head of hair. It's beautiful, and she makes sure to keep it that way. It's a bold brown, and she wears it any way she wants to. One day it'll be in a simple pony, the next a full head of curls, practically a fro. Most of the time, however, it's a simple straight, but always gorgeous. No matter how she wears it, though, Khristian tries to make a statement.
friendlyHistory:
she never meets a stranger
Khristian is a very friendly person. She always has a ready smile for anyone. Whether you are passing her on the street, the cashier at the store, or an old friend, that smile is always welcoming. And so is she. Khristian will strike up a conversation at any time with anyone. She loves going to farmer markets because she always meets someone interesting, and her family and friends say she never meets a stranger.
Sweet
Suger And Spice And Everything Nice
Khristian is probably one of the sweetest people you will meet. She loves being happy and loves happy people. She hates being mean, and is therefore rarely so. If you're mean to her, she'll probably just ignore you, or try to make you feel guilty by just being herself, which is usually nice. Most people are pretty sure there's not a single mean bone in Khristian's body, and they are probably right.
HYPER
LIKE THE ENERGIZER BUNNY ON STEROIDS
Khristian can also be a very hyper and energetic person. She loves to be the life of the party. Or the center of attention. As long is it's good attention and the party's legal, that is. She loves to just get up and dance and gets everyone else up and groovin, too. She loves it when she gets an adrenaline rush. In fact, they're pretty common for Khristian. She's giggly and bubbly and just plain fun.
CuTe
Don't maker her stick her PUPPPY DOG EYES on you
Khristian is cute, obviously. But not just in the way she looks, but in the way she acts. This sort of mixes hyper and generous together. She cute because she's the type of person who goes into a candy store and races to the lollipops or the tootsie rolls or jelly beans. She's also the one to give an elderly person a hug and kiss on the cheek when she say hello. She has her quirks that make her cute. The face she gets when she's worried, the way she laughs and giggles at the lamest of jokes. She just cute, and she can't help it.
generous
makes you wanna be a better person
Khristian loves to be a loving, kind, caring, generous person. Some of her favorite hobbies include visiting nursing homes, volunteering at the special olympics, the red cross, even making blankets for the less wealthy. I know, it all sounds cheesy, and she thought so, too at first. She started doing these things for school credits and to look good on her college applications, but she ended up actually enjoying her time visiting with the elderly, often they had fun stories to tell and made her laugh even more than some of her friends. When she read stories to the kids at the local shelter, she loved seeing the smile on their face, and she loves helping out other people.
quiet
you would have barely noticed her
Now, I know, this seems pretty contrary to the rest of her, but it is true. Khristian can be a quiet kid from time to time. Rare, but it's there. She is a good girl, and quiet when need be. She does not disrupt the class, she's not the funny kid. She keeps offensive opinions to herself, and knows when to back down and keep to herself rather than burst out and take someone else's spotlight. She can be shy every once in a while. Usually when she's really falling for a guy. Which is rare, considering her past love life, but it happens. For the most part, she's outgoing, but she does have that piece of pie that tells her to shut her mouth and just go with the flow from the backseat.
Once upon there was born into this world a little girl by the name Rosette Elena Mars. Rosette grew up strong and independant, and when it came time to leave the nest, she did so peacefully and happily. She went off to college to become a teacher. Then, on April 17, her freshman year, she met a handsome boy by the name of William Casper Roze. You know how the story goes; the two fell madly in love.Sample Rp:
They married not long after, when she was twenty and he was twenty-two. A year later, little Henry Casper Roze II was born. Surprisingly, the sweet couple graduated college at the same time, and then the trio moved to Rosette's roots in North Carolina. William got a job at a local family practice right away, and a year later, seeing as Henry was two, Rosette got a job teaching at a nearby private school.
But pretty soon, Rosette had to go on maternity leave. Which finally brings us to Khristian's very first debut on her Life On Earth Tour. They were the picture-perfect family. A mother, a father, a son, and a daughter. For Kensington's first two years of life, her family lived in an apartment above Rosette's brother-in-law's deli. It was comfortable; two bedrooms, one bath, a small kitchen and dining area, and a living room. But, Rosette and William decided it was time for a change. Sometime when Khristian was three, her family finished moving into their three bed/two bath/two car garage suburban home.
That's when Khristian started a life groove. She generally grew up a typical suburban girl. She grew up at the local private school, seeing as her mother worked there, along with her brother. Both of there classes were only about a hundred kids in size, and classes had 24 at the most, but usually less. Basically, a small private school.
Khristian was pretty normal. She had a group of friends, three really close friends, and one of them was her best friend. She had her share of love, too. From her first crush on Henry's friend when she was four, to the guy who cracked, but didn't break, her heart just weeks ago. It's actually one of the reasons why Khristian's ecstatic to move.
See, Khristian met Zack when she was four, the worst time for a guy in Khristian's life because it was the time she was having her first real crush. She was madly in love Henry's friend Chris, and she thought he'd hung the moon. So, Zack was immediately put off as a friend. But, whenever Chris wasn't there, Zack was, so the two became closer than close. They were totally inspereable until Zack was ten, when he was sent off to boarding school for a couple of years. He came back the next summer and it was almost like he'd never left. The two friends went back into the routine of being together 24/7. But, they HAD grown up a little. Even though they'd written letters every day, there was still the matter of actually seeing each other. Over the past two years, Zack had started to look at girls in a way that he had crushes and Khristian had, too, but with boys. And that summer, the two had both developed crushes on each other, no doubt. But, then Zack was sent back to school, and Khristian was depressed for a couple of months before she started to cheer up again.
Before the summer, the two had literally written letters every single day, even on Sunday, so that they'd just send two on Monday. But after that summer, the letters slowly became less and less. But that's when they started IMing and talking on the phone, instead. Pretty soon, they made sure they talked atleast once a day, even if for the briefest of hellos. About a year and a half after Zack went back, he turned 14, and for his birthday he got a new computer and a bunch of equipment. One of them being a camera so he and Khristian could video chat. It was perfect. It was almost like he'd never left, like he was still with her. He came home again that summer, and the two decided to try a relationship. They spent every waking moment together, but thing time not as friends, but as a couple, as boyfriend and girlfriend.
As their three month vacation began to come to an end, things started to become bad. The perfect couple weren't so perfect anymore. They fought constantly for the entire two weeks before he left for school again. He left for school, for the first time happy to be going, and the two of them were seperated. They didn't write, they didn't call or video chat, no text messages were sent. Nothing at all went on between them. Which just caused a relapse of depression for Khristian, only this time it was really bad. She almost killed herself two months into the school year. When Zack heard about it, he knew he had to come home. He convinced his mother to let him come home the next semester. What no one knew then, though, was that between then and Christmas break, Zack would get into some bad habits, and meet some bad people that would become his friends.
When Zack came home, Khristian was angry at first. How could he just come into her life like that, and think it was all going to be okay? She was still trying to recover. She'd made a lot of progress, but with Zack back home, she was more tempted than ever to pick up that knife or pill, but her best friends, and her family all made sure she couldn't get ahold of either one. And Zack pretended to be the guy he was when they were happy last summer. He slowly crept his way back into Khristian's life, and it was all good for a while. By May, they were the best of friends again. They were inspereable, as they once were when they first met. Kensington felt like that summer was the best one yet. She had an amazing boyfriend, the best friends and a perfect family. All she had to do was have fun and be a normal teenager for once.
But in late October, Zack started to show who he really was. Khristian found some drugs in his coat one day when she was searching for his cell to call her brother because hers had just died. She couldn't believe it. After all she'd been through, how could he be doing drugs. She didn't ask him about it at first, figuring she was probably just jumping to conclusions. But a few days later she had some time to herself in his room, and she found more drugs in his sock drawer, in the same red superman sock they used to hide things in when they were little. She didn't want to cause any trouble, so she stayed away from questioning him or anything. But then in November, her friend told her she'd seen Zack making out with another girl, and even had a picture on her phone to prove it. A couple of days later, Zack was taking a shower when Khristian went to his house to meet up with him, she knew she had some time, so she started to search through his room a little bit. She wasn't one to do that sort of thing, but when your boyfriend's cheating on you, the rules change. She quickly found drugs hidden all over his room and all sorts of traces of other girls, too. She had it all laid out on his bed and then left before he got out of the shower. She ignored his calls until she got a new phone and new number. She blocked him out of her life completely, just like her brother had told her to. So when her parents announced they were going to be moving to California, Khristian was thrilled. She couldn't wait to get away from the person who had ruined her life. She was ready for a fresh start.

Kensington wobbled along until she got to her door, where she
dumped her bags to each side of her so she could open the
door. Her brother was slowly making his way there with her
biggest suitcases. She felt a tinsy bit bad but not really because
he was her bigger brother and he'd joked around and said in his
goofy big brother way "I demand that you allow me to take the
big cases. You just take those small duffels." However, the
duffels weren't really all that small, unfortunately. But, she
followed suit, and when ahead and threw them on her shoulders
before heading towards the dorms.
Now, as she was about to open the door with the key she'd
gotten in the office, her nerves returned. Questions reaced
through her head like the Enterprise at light speed. Was coming
here the right thing to do? What if dad really needed her now?
Was she abandoning him? For a place where she didn't know
anyone at all? Would her new roommates like her? Would they
even be friendly? What about her classes? Was she going to
make any friends here? Kensington began to doubt her decision
to come here. Just as the brushed the doorknob, she stopped
and started to turn around just in time to see her brother coming
up the stairs. "Hey! Why isn't the door open yet? You said
you'd have it opened by the time I got up here." Her
brother laughed, and Kensington quickly reversed her thought
and turned back to open the door.
"Sorry, bubba." She finally opened the door and grabbed two
duffel to take it inside. She set it on the only empty bed and then
went back out to get the other two as her brother rolled in her
biggest suitcases. The only plane he could take was leaving
sooner then either of them wanted. Kensington wanted her
brother to stay as long as possible, and her brother wanted to
make sure she was okay before he left. He would have to leave in
just an hour. To avoid the obvious, though, they began to unpack
everything into her dresser and desk and whatnot. They got most
of it done in about twenty-five minutes, leaving plenty of time for
the two to talk and maybe walk around a little before he had
leave.
The two walked around the campus for a little while before heading
back to Kensington's dorm room. When they got there, Lawrence
took our his guitar and the two started to sing an old song they'd
written; it was one of the first they'd written together. And though
Kensington could sit and sing with her brother, that was it. She
was much to shy to sing in front of anyone else. But she and her
brother were always there for each other, and writing music
together was something they shared, just the two of them. Before
they knew it, it was time for Lawrence to leave for the airport.
Neither one of them wanted to say goodbye, so they didn't.
Instead, the two hugged, Lawrence kissed his sister on the
forehead, and away he went. Kensington was left to stand on the
sidewalk alone, without a single familiar face around. So, she
went back to her dorm, wanting some time to be by herself.
When she got there, it felt weird to open the door. This would be
something she'd be doing on a regular basis now, but she didn't
think she'd ever get used to it. As soon as she stepped inside,
she saw it. Her brother had left his guitar on her bed. She quickly
pulled out her phone as she walked toward it, his number just a
click away, but stopped short when she saw his handwriting on a
piece of paper next to it. On it, he'd written that he was getting a
new guitar; the one the two of them had once played on for an
hour in a guitar store. He said management had given him a job,
and part of his pay was the guitar. So, he said, the guitar was
hers. Kensington smiled. Her brother knew she wanted a guitar
of her own, if only to sing herself to sleep at night.
Kensington had left the door open so she wouldn't feel enclosed,
as if in a prison. Or a quarantine. She started to write in her new
blog; hopeful someone might see it. She also went through all the
school's social links and such. Following one site to another,
hoping she might come in contact with someone with the same
interests as her. Someone she had something in common with.
Who she could maybe tag along with until she found her own
groove. After a little bit, Kensington decided to mess around with
her brother's, or her, guitar. She started to randomly strum a
chord or two and pretty soon had a good sound beat and rhythm.
She stopped, though, as she had an inspiration for some lyrics. As
she jotted them down on a notepad, she head a noise outside
her door.

Hi, there! My name's Karr, I'm 16 and I've been rping for about two years now. I took a break for a little bit, and then thought it would be nice to get started again. I'm still just getting her started, but I found this site through them and decided to give it a whirl. You can contact me at krazykelso135@aim.com. That's about it, I suppose! Thanks!
