amelia's hair is usually pretty long - like halfway down her back long. which she usually wears in its natural look - wavy. it's natural color is a chestnut-chocolate brown and it has a hint of red in it when the sun hits it. she has a heart shaped face and green eyes that she would describe as 'kind of squinty'. her top lip is pretty thin but she has a full bottom lip that fits in with the proportion of her face. again, her nose fits in with the proportion of her face. it isn't huge but it isn't a tiny button nose. it looks right on her. amelia stands at five foot four inches and she is very happy at her height. she doesn't want to be a Model so being small suits her fine. plus its also easier to find skinny jeans that fit her height. ha! Ami has s slim physique. she works out occasionally, but she is one of the lucky cows that can eat whatever she wants and never gains a pound. she isn't toned up with a six pack or anything, but she looks good. and feels good. she doesn't feel the need to hide her body, sure she liked to wear sexy underwear for a boyfriend, but on a day to day basis, she wears her comfy skinny jeans, a graphic tee, and her favorite boots. her clothes color mainly reflect her attitudes i.e. blues, blacks, whites, greens etc.

she has a herd time expressing her feelings, that’s why she always turns to acting to let out that she’s feeling. she can get lost in the emotions of another character while acting. it sounds kind of stupid, that she can express her feelings and thoughts in acting, but it worked. it gives the footage some feelings and sort of chemistry and passion. also, Ami loves to write songs and music. she can just sit down and an hour late she has the outline of a pretty good song. it’s one of the things she keeps hidden though.

ha! miss amelia layne is one of the most stubborn people you will ever meet - if not the most. she never does anything someone tells her to do. if they ask her to do it, she is likely to do it, but if someone tells her, there is absolutely no way it will get done. once her mind has been made it, it is very difficult to tell her otherwise. her opinions and thoughts stick with her, even if it is pr oven that she is wrong.

amelia finds it hard to talk about her feelings with other people. the only person she can really talk to is her best friend, William Eden, and even that is stretched at times. she also isn't really interested in hearing other peoples problems. her attitude is kind of like 'yeah, whatever get over it.' overall she is very private and likes it that way. rumors about her self doesn't bother her, she simply ignores it.

overall she believes that she is complete within her self and doesn't need anyone to take care of her cause she’s fine on her own. and honestly, she is. she doesn't need to be with someone constantly. she knows that when love wants to come and find her, it will. she isn't going to go around chasing after it and crying when it doesn't go how she want it to. though of course, she would love to have the comfort of a relationship - but she’s ok with out it too. she doesn't really like to rely on anyone and ask for help. the only one she turns to when she needs help is her brother. but honestly, she feels like she can take on anything life throws at her, all by herself. most people think she is a bitch because of her independent attitude along with her sarcasm and rebellious streak, but she doesn't care.

history:
in the summer of nineteen eighty seven, liza Swanton and harrison layne met at a local festival. they hit it off straight away. liza was from a fAmily in justice, Chicago. her mother earned a decent wage from teaching at a local kindergarten, enough for them to live off and her father worked in a local restaurant as a chef. harrison came from a similar fAmily. his father was a Barber and his mother was a shop assistant. when they met, they became best friends before anything romantic. but after a couple of months, the started to fall in love. liza took him home too meet her parents. and so did harrison.

after eight months, liza and harrison took their relationship to the next level. harrison made an advance on her, and one thing let to another. both liza and harrison came from fAmilies where sex before marriage did not happen, but they just got wrapped up in their little love bubble.

one month later, liza missed her period and of course she started to panic. she called harrison straight away - he was helping out in the barber shop his father worked at. as soon as Liza explained to him that she thought she was pregnant, Harrison arranged for her to see a doctor. the couple were both over joyed and scared at the prospect of becoming parents, but they dealt with it. now they just had to deal with telling their parents. they knew they wouldn't be overly empresses because they had sex before married.

en-loping quickly was out of the question. all they had to do was suck it up and tell their parents. surprisingly, his parents took it much better than he had thought. now that there was a baby involved, that made things different in his parents eyes. sure they weren't overly joyed that their son had snuck around with a woman who wasn't his wife but they put all that aside. they were just proud to be having a grandchild - what saint grandparent wouldn't be? Liza’s parents took the news pretty much the same way.

nine months later, in the spring of ninety eight nine, liza gave birth to Elliott Edward layne. he was healthy and both parents and grand parents were thrilled. now they had a child together, it was the right thing to marry. the wedding was planned for the summer and took place on august seventeenth in Chicago.

a year after their wedding, Liza feel pregnant again. both were over the moon at the thought of giving Elliott a sibling. again everything went fine in the pregnancy, liza ate all the right vitAmins and minerals and did all the exercising that the doctor suggested. her and Harrison’s relationship had never been stronger. they had moved into the house that harrison's parents had bought them as a wedding present. it was huge with many bedrooms with en-suits and an outside pool. Harrison was now a lawyer and earned enough money to support his fAmily. in June of ninety ninety one liza gave birth to a healthy baby girl who they called Amelia Marie. liza was thrilled to have a little girl. their fAmily was complete.

when amelia was nine years old, her mother became sick with cancer. she managed to fight it off for a year, but after that she became weak and unable to fight. her father was never a religious man, but when liza got ill, he started going to church and buddying up to god. that's where he met Trisha. when amelia was almost eleven years old, her mother passed away. her and elliott were devastated. they became closer than ever. they told each other everything and they were best friends as well as brother and sister. five months after Liza’s death, harrison brought home Trisha to meat his children. from the first moment they met him, elliott and amelia were horrible to Trisha they could tell that she was only after their fathers money. not two months later, harrison and Trisha married. ugh it was and still is tourcher for Ami and her brother. in Ami and Elliott’s eyes Trisha was just a status obsessed witch and only wanted to by with harrison for his money and to gain stays.

Trisha has re decorated the entire house, practically removing ever trace of liza. elliott is lucky and was able to move out when he went to the service, amelia could move out at any time also, but her father was the one paying for her college tuition. until then she still treats Trisha like shit. her father yells at her for her attitude, but she doesn't care. she thinks Trisha is trying to replace her mom and that is not on. her and elliott are still really close and she is the only person she really trusts. she finds it difficult to open up to people.
