Weight: 193

Appearance:
When you first lay eyes on him what will probably first catch your eye is his strong facial features and his murky blue-green eyes. He has a strong, straight jaw, and a slightly pointed nose. His lips are thin, though not overly so, and he has been told by a few girls that they are pretty good for kissing. His ears stick out from the side of his head, mainly because of his short dirty blond hair. Most of the time he wears his hair with nothing in it and just brushes it quickly in the morning, but if he feels fancy he will tousle it up with a little gel.Personality:
Moving on from his face, he has a lean, athletic body from playing sports and just working out. Though he's not overly muscled, you can tell he has a nice body through his clothes. He has never been very chubby and ever since he was an early teen he has been a little muscular, in the way that a twelve year old could be. Dev tries to eat some what healthy but since he has a quite high metabolism he lets himself get away with eating badly sometimes.
Devon doesn't like to stick out so he rarely strays far from the typical jeans and t-shirt. He will wear a suit when he needs to but he isn't the kind of guy to wear formal all the time. He doesn't think he is much of a materialist but he does tend to choose the slightly more expensive brands, it's mostly the culture of wearing brand names. If he ever has any accessories on it will be a watch, or sunglasses. He for sure isn't one to wear scarfs, it just makes him feel weird.
He has no tattoos and no piercing, though he does have a little mark on his right ear for when his friend tried to pierce his ear when he was fourteen. His body is mostly un-scarred, except for on his right arm, above his elbow there is a long faded scar from when he was playing foot ball and he fell, and also he has a scar along his side from being pushed into a fence with a wire that had been poking out. Devon finds it odd that he has so little scars on his body since he is prone to getting hurt, sports, and just in general.
You will rarely see this boy with a sad look on his face. He is the one who is always smiling and joking partly 'cause he is a pretty happy person who tries to be as lighthearted as possible, but also 'cause he has a tenancy to keep his negative emotions to himself and mask them in happiness. As a child he was taught that boys didn't cry so as he grew up he just learned to keep to all his negative emotions to himself and ignore them or deal with them when he could be alone. Even with that said he actually is pretty happy person. He has learned to not think about the things he can't control.History:
Devon is generally polite to the people he should be polite to, which means adults and authority figures since he knows there are certain things that his parents expect. Not that he's rude to everyone else he is just makes a point to not be an ass to certain people. In his mind his parents expect him to be perfect and he does his best to appear so to them. Devon doesn't completely change who is to impress his parents since he doesn't see them very often and he also has a whole other group to fit in with, his peers.
Devon doesn't easily open up to people. Not that he is very reserved but he just tries to sidestep getting too deeply about his feeling. He is fine with talking about other peoples problems and helping other people but he avoids talking about himself or confronting people. He would much rather pretend everything was fine then take the effort to fix things. If he gets into a problem with someone it is pretty scary to talk to them about it 'cause he's afraid of saying how he feels. If he really cares about that person and really wants things to be better he will force himself to talk to them about it but that is unusual for Dev.
He is a pretty joking person who likes to tease and be sarcastic. Most of the time he doesn't really mean any of the things he says and it's just for fun. Sometimes he goes a little overboard with the teasing and says things he totally doesn't mean, afterward he always feels bad but he has a hard time saying sorry and if it's little he might not apologize. If he is angry with someone this happens more easily but usually he is good about not letting it happen at all.
Devon in the type of person who has a lot of friends but few close friends. He mostly has people he hangs out with but they don't really know him that well, then are the few people he is close too. It takes a little while for him to truly open up to people and once he does he gets a little protective of that person and attached to them. If you are actually his friend then you probably are pretty close to him.
He keeps this to himself mostly but deep down, he's a romantic. With his lovers he is gentle and a little doting. Always the perfect gentlemen, pays the bill on a date, opens the door for her ect. He doesn't tend to like many girls and in the past he has ended up with girls he didn't like all that much. He always had good intentions but he has a pattern of ending up with girls he doesn't go well with. Of course there has been the few good ones in the past, but that has just been the general story of his dating life.
Devon was born and raised in a straight up American, christian home in upper class southern California. His parents, Amanda and Steve, had met in college then got married and quickly had a baby. Daniel, Devon's older brother. They settled down in a nice big house with a white picket fence in a neighborhood of house that looked just like theirs. After Daniel turned four, Amanda got pregnant with Devon. Of course, it was planned and he was born perfectly then soon after baptized.Sample Rp:
As a toddler when he would get upset and he would cry, his parents would tell him that boys didn't cry and that he was overreacting. He was told this for a few years until he began to learn not to cry in front of his parents, and not at all if he could help it. He learned not to talk to his parents about almost any problems he had, and for sure to not complain as much. This had started to fade a little now that he moved out but he still has a lot of trouble feelings his emotions and sharing them.
Growing up, there were things expected of Devon, the big one was to be like his brother. This meant he was supposed to play sports, get good grades and be a gentlemen. He did his best to live up to his parents expectations but to him it seemed he could never be good enough. Like when he had been caught smoking once in his early teens and his mom said that Daniel wouldn't have done that.
His life has so far been pretty uneventful, the most eventful thing he would say has happened to him I falling in love at fifteen with a girl in his class named Chelsea. He eventually worked up the nerve to ask her on a date and she accepted. After a few more dates they decided to go out. Devon was totally smitten with her and she felt the same way. They dated for six months and had decided they loved each other. But then her dad got a really good job in Germany and she had to move away. The night before she left they had sex, and since then he has never seen or spoken to her, they just kind of lost touch. Of course Devon was heart broken, and remained that way for another six months but he learned to get over it and he doesn't really think about her much anymore.
That was really the only thing interesting that ever happened to him in his opinion. His parents on the other hand would probably say that him getting a fancy athletic scholarship to Central. Dev does like playing sports, mostly soccer but he wasn't super excited about it. He likes sports but really he has just been pushed to do it and has never really thought about anything else he would want to do.
At the end his second year at Central College he met a girl named Melissa, she was a year older then him and quite the flirt. Immediately she caught his eye, it was hard not to see her, she was quite beautiful. He didn't even need to talk to her to see if she was interested, she came to him. It was kinda rushed but after a few days of talking and flirting with her they started dating.
For about seven months now they've been going out and Devon thinks shes a wonderful person and likes her a lot but he isn't super crazy about her, or at least not in the way that he thinks he should be. He has realized that he probably shouldn't have rushed into a relationship with her since he now thinks they aren't so good of a match but he has this idea that everything will work out eventually and he just needs to wait it out.
