Standing at five foot eight, Jeremy isn't known for standing out of the crowd with his height. Not only that, but he's a little bit of a scrawny lad, too. He isn't loaded with muscles, or anything of the sort, but he does have some definition. He doesn't do anything with his physical appearance that would draw someone's eye, his skin a little on the pale side but not eye-burning so. His hair is a complete mess, always sticking up in places, and never combed out unless it's a rare occasion. Dark blue eyes to match the dark auburn hair nestled on the top of his head, it's really a wonder that anyone thinks he's at all eye catching upon first glance, especially considering he isn't the most attractive male in Beverly Hills.Personality:
JD doesn't take much pride in his appearance, so he doesn't dress to impress anyone but himself. Baggy pants, loose t shirts, the occasional polo whenever he feels like it. He doesn't follow stereotypes with clothing decisions, so whatever seems convenient at the time he's getting dressed is what he goes with. The only source of 'jewelery' that he wears are his dog tags that, really, aren't even actually his. No rings, no bracelets, no piercings. Jeremy's not apposed to the idea of wearing converse, but what normally occupies his feet are a pair of skate shoes, something he can easily slip into and out of without having to apply any effort.
Surprisingly, for being a smoker and not really taking good care of himself, JD owns a pair of white, healthy teeth. His hair is never greasy as a result of showering daily. He was one of the lucky kids that hit puberty without any difficulties with blemishes or unwanted specs. Faint freckles can be seen strewn underneath his eyes, and over the bridge of his nose, but they've been fading over the years, so you have to really look to see them. JD keeps up with personal hygiene quite a bit, always making sure that if he can help it, he doesn't stink at all unless it's from axe spray.
He has two tattoos, one located on his right lower shoulder, and another resting on the left side of his ribs. The one on his shoulder says "Jack the Lad" with two drama masks underneath, one displaying happiness while the other being sorrow. The tattoo on his ribs is a Celtic cross, shaded in and rather large, stretching from a few inches underneath the pit of his arm to his hip.
It's really not out of the norm to see JD with band aids, bruising, or even bandages covering his body. He's a rather careless fellow, so getting himself bloody noses and black eyes aren't out of his reach.
BAD BOY -- /History:
If it wasn't obvious already, JD's a rather large Anarchist. He doesn't believe in rules, whether they be of the law, school, or life in general. He can't stand having to obey someone's orders, and usually ends up finding a way to turn it around on them to get his way. It isn't just rules and laws that he doesn't listen to, however. JD doesn't take advice well, no matter what nature it is to him and if it would actually help. It's not an act to get him laid, though it does help quite a bit. It's just the free spirited feeling from not having to be chained to rules, or guidelines, that he enjoys so much.
WILD CHILD -- /
Jeremy's a bit of a loon. He howls, he screams, he flails around like a drunken psychopath. It's all apart of his fun. He doesn't believe in being silent in any matter, and refuses to keep his mouth closed. If he's got a surge of energy, he'll use it to his fullest, and literally jump off the walls. He does all sorts of crazy things; jumping off buildings, tree branches, bails out of cars to see how bad it would hurt. You could say he's also an adrenaline junkie, as well, but he just thinks he was born with a better tolerance of annoying people than having a joy for the adrenaline rushes he gets on a regular basis.
HONEST -- /
Before you start thinking he's some bad boy with a heart, don't. Jeremy tells the truth - the harsh truth. He doesn't lie to protect someone's feelings, or save an opinion on someone. He gives it as he sees it, no matter how mean or cruel it might seem. Most cases, it isn't cruel at all, but for the ones stupid enough to ask him for his opinion get a good eyeopener. He has no regard for his friends feelings, if they didn't want to get their feelings hurt then they shouldn't have asked someone like him, is how he sees it.
PARTY ANIMAL -- /
What teenager doesn't like patrolling around for some booze, and maybe a few joints? JD feels right at home in the heat of a party, whether he's just chilling out and slamming back a few drinks, or if he's dancing like the moron his drunken self portrays.
CAREFREE -- /
It isn't impossible for Jeremy to care about things, no. But he doesn't really enjoy doing it. It's a lot simpler to just shrug everything off, let it come as it may, and get with your life. JD couldn't be happier living life as it flowed, not stressing over anything, and ignore any kind of responsibility he's supposed to be keeping track of.
GLUTTON -- /
With the way Jeremy stuffs his face, it's really a wonder as to how he stays so scrawny. You know the saying "You must have a hollow leg"? For him, it's like having a hollow everything. He's usually resorted to as everyone's garbage, giving him their unwanted or unfinished food. Of course, he isn't constantly eating, but given the chance to eat at a buffet, he'll be there for hours.
OBNOXIOUS -- /
Between dirty jokes and having belching contests, there's next to no charm running through Jeremy's veins. He laughs at horrid things, scratches his crotch in public, and comments on anything that would make someone uncomfortable or embarrassed. The way he carries on, it's no wonder that he's usually walking around with some kind of scrap or bruise.
Jeremy was born in Blackpool, England, into a family without a Father, which isn't unusual. His Mother took good care of him from the time he was born, up until his younger brother was conceived. By that time, JD was eight and already thinking that he ruled the world with his action figures and soccer ball. He felt a little neglected from the lack of attention he was getting from his Mother, but he never held the grudge against his Brother. In fact, Jeremy loved his brother to little bits and pieces. He did hold a grudge against his Mother, though, for giving up on her first child and then having another one. Like a redo button, only without erasing the first mistake.Sample Rp:
That could be the reason behind him getting out of hand quite a bit as he grew older. His Mother always said it was just a phase, that it'd grow out of him before he reached late into his teen years, but that was just her not dealing with the mayhem that he was causing. First it was just simple things, busting people's headlights with a baseball bat, or spray painting the word cunt on the side of important buildings or houses. Gradually, as he grew older, so did the crimes and felonies that he was making. By the time he was fifteen, he had already had his fair share of alcohol and weed in take, and his home life wasn't getting any better in his eyes. With his Mother missing in action for the most part, and having to try and take care of his younger Brother Sam, the pressure was getting to be too much, too fast. He'd lash out at anyone for any reason at all, most of the time making up excuses to start fights. The only friends he could manage to keep were all the borderline alcoholics and stoners, who were usually completely out of their mind whenever Jeremy was even around to notice how much of a shitty friend he could be.
When he turned seventeen he completely flew off the handle. There had been a girl he liked, a girl that made it seem like she liked him back. He walked in on them doing the naughty and lost his mind. He wasn't heartbroken, but the fact that the guy she had been with was his best friend really ticked him off. It had been a party, so finding a guy to get into a fight with wasn't hard. He nearly broke the guy's face in several different places out of rage, and was taken into custody for the assault. While he was there, they tallied up everything he had done wrong that they had on record, and the judge came to a decision. They put him into Juvenile hold for a week so he could see what the first stage of jail was like. It was one of the most miserable weeks of JD's life, and he didn't plan on letting himself go back to anything like it ever again. That, of course, didn't mean he'd stop kicking people around, or doing obnoxious things to people's property. It just meant that he wouldn't let himself get caught.
His Mother wasn't pleased. She showed up just to tell him that, too. Sam was scared, terrified that their Mother would send them away. Apparently Jeremy was an embarrassment, and his Mother couldn't go anywhere without people giving her the stink eye and muttering things about her. She was extremely fed up, and put the house up for sale. There was a job offering to her in California, and she was all too quick to accept it. The move was horrid, though no one came to see JD off, which wasn't much of a surprise. They left England and traveled to California, landing in Beverly Hills. Jeremy instantly hated it. The heat was clammy and disgusting, and just on the drive to their new house JD could already tell he wouldn't be mingling with much of the girls in fright that their spray on tans would cling to his skin in the end. The only good thing about the move would've been the house. It was large, extremely spacey, with a view and a backyard pool. There was enough room in the house for a lot more than just the three of them, which is exactly why his Mother had picked it out of the others. A man met them inside, the place already fully furnished with their own furniture and brand new pieces. His Mother announced that he was her new Fiancée, which instantly turned Jeremy's mood sour.
He left after that. Told his Brother that he'd come visit him at whatever school their Mother shipped him off to, grabbed a bag and stuffed it with clothes, and took off with a wade of money he stole from his Mother. He got an apartment on his own, and his Mother struck a deal. If he went to school, she'd pay for his rent and everything else he needed. Jeremy couldn't resist, as long as it meant he'd get to stay away from her, and then enrolled himself into Central High.
