when one looks at madison, they might not be sure what to think. while her bright hair and pale skin would lead you to think she’s a ‘scene’ kid, her lack of neon and black attire would beg to differ. she really isn’t a scene kid. her skin is pale because, well, she doesn’t tan very well. why is her hair such a bright pink? well, why not? she doesn’t have the bright hair or wear the brighter make up for attention; the brighter colors along with more fashionable clothing are just madison. unlike many people, the girl is the way she is just because it’s what she prefers.Personality:
madison is at an average stature for a girl. she’s 5’3, with a weight of 105 pounds. it’s a good height/weight ratio for her, because it doesn’t make her look too skinny, nor does it make her look too chubby. madison is well proportioned with her curves, nothing giant but nothing too small. her skin is very fair, her cheeks only taking on a bit of color with the application of blush. she generally wears make up, not a lot, but more than a little. her eyes are usually highlighted by eye shadow of some sort, whether it’s a more natural tone or a bright blue or some other color. her lips are coated in either lip gloss or lipstick at all times to give them a bit more color. her hair contrasts with her light skin, though it fits her very well. people have come to take the pink hair as a part of her, and can’t imagine her with the colors she’s had before. madi as a blonde? definitely not.
though she usually tries to wear more subdued colors so people aren’t overloaded by bright, sometimes madison wears those lighter tones. her wardrobe couldn’t be described by one stereotype. she’s got so many different pieces that would make so many different looks put together. one day she could be wearing a sundress, and the next she’ll be wearing skinny jeans and a band tee. it all depends on madison’s mood on that particular day. her accessories change with the outfits too. one day her chunky jewelry will be the main focus of the outfit, while the next she’ll wear a simple pendant. her earrings change like that as well. they go from cute and funky to dangling and elegant. the only piece that never changes is the barbell through her tongue. while she could change it to fit her mood every day, that would just be too much of a hassle. so just pay attention to her clothing if you really want to see what mood she’s in.
outgoing – madison is very outgoing. it isn’t hard for her to act weird in public places or make new friends. in fact, acting weird in public is probably how she makes her new friends. or enemies. she’ll act that way by herself, but she’s more likely to do such a thing with a friend, because she’d rather people didn’t think she was crazy. either way, it doesn’t scare her talking in front of large groups or having to make new friends. if the girl thinks someone’s hair is beautiful, or she loves their shoes, it won’t be a problem for her to go up to them and tell them that. it only turns into a problem if the person getting snippy, and that’s when she usually gets angry.History:
loyal – she’s very loyal to the friends she has, and rarely does a secret of theirs slip out. madi can’t always help it. aside from that, she won’t do anything to purposely go against her friends’ wishes. they’re a big part of her life being on tour, so it isn’t going to be fun losing a friend or two. if they need anything, she won’t hesitate to do so. madison will listen if they need to vent, and it isn’t unlikely for her to trade a night out for being a shoulder to cry on. the only time her loyalty is ever in question is when there’s a problem between two of her friends, and then it’s difficult for the girl to be a friend. of course, she tries to fix the problem.
personable – though she may seem to most like to type to be a rebellious teenager who doesn’t care, that isn’t the case. the girl is polite and also helpful, meaning if you’re having any issues, whether it’s finding something or fixing a problem, she’ll do her best to help you out. sometimes it can be annoying, but oftentimes madison knows when to stop. she’s very polite to everyone, unless they’ve given her a reason to be disrespectful. that doesn’t happen a lot though, so your first impression of her will probably be a good one. the only time it really won’t will be if you’re rude to her, or you catch her in a bad mood.
easily manipulated/manipulative – it isn’t that she really tries, but madison can be a bit manipulative. it’s easy to manipulate her too. when someone doesn’t want to do something with her, or something similar, madi often makes people feel guilty. sometimes it’s on purpose, but not a lot. she just gets sad when people can’t spend time with her, and it makes them feel worse. it also works the opposite way. when madi feels guilty, it’s easy for her to just do whatever it was you wanted. also, her friends can make her do anything. the girl never wants to upset them, so she can’t really say no to them.
honest – yes, she does do what most do and say the little white lie every once in a while, but madison will usually tell the truth. the teenager doesn’t want her friends to be embarrassed, so if they ask if they look fat, she’ll break it to them lightly. it isn’t cool to be lied to and make a fool of yourself. of course, if she’s in a bad mood, beware. madison tends to be brutally honest when she’s in a bad mood. if you’re one of her enemies, you’re not going to get the warmest welcome, and if you’re her friend, expect one or two rude remarks. they aren’t necessarily true, but it’s what she’s probably thinking at the moment.
bad temper – if madi is angry, she’s angry. it’s best you stay out of her way, because she’s going to be a huge bitch, and arguments are easily started. if you’ve crossed her in any way, or if you’re an enemy, it wouldn’t be odd for her to start a physical fight. her temper is pretty horrible, and it can be pretty scary, actually. her friends can’t always calm her down, and they’ll get yelled at just for interfering. some friends do have to ability to calm madison down, but they’re usually her good friends. it’s something they’re used to, so it isn’t difficult to avoid any serious problems.
stubborn – madison won’t change her mind very easily. if she feels a certain way about something, odds are you can’t change that. if she doesn’t want to do something, you’re not changing that. when her stubbornness is paired with her temper, something bad will most definitely happen. madi doesn’t like to be told what to think, and once her mind is made, it’s made. a lot of times her being stubborn doesn’t get in the way, but it occasionally will in a big way. a rule of thumb is to watch what you say, because if you pick your words correctly, you can avoid arguments.
unpredictable – a lot of times you can’t tell what mood she’ll be in, or how she’ll react to certain things. madison is usually nice, but every so often, she’ll take things the wrong way and flip out. or, you’ll think she’s going to flip out and she really doesn’t. it can be kind of weird, especially when madison isn’t sure how she’ll react to things a lot of people just associate it with her being a teenager though, and say the girl will grow out of it.
makaila and richard never had a difficult relationship, and no one ever freaked out about them being together. the two met in college, went on a couple dates before making it official. at their college graduation, richard proposed to makaila, and she obviously said yes. the two were inseparable. everyone knew they would be together forever. the two planned their wedding for a year, as they had to book the church a year in advance. they weren’t highly religious, but enough as to where they would get married in a church. there was just one thing that wasn’t so holy of them. about a month and a half before the wedding, after leaving a friend’s party completely wasted, makaila and richard conceived a child. they didn’t tell anyone because it wasn’t right to have sex before marriage, and they didn’t want to be looked down upon. when she learned she was pregnant, the woman instantly thought up a plan. she wouldn’t be showing much by the wedding, so the woman wouldn’t say anything until about a month after. it would make sense, since most usually had sex on the night of their honeymoon.Sample Rp:
the wedding went by perfectly, and no one knew of her pregnancy. going with her plan, about a month after the wedding, makaila announced her pregnancy. no one suspected a thing, and it worked out well. her pregnancy went smoothly, aside from being bedridden the last month. it was difficult, but richard had made sure his wife followed doctor’s orders. on april 4, the woman gave birth to madison evelyn burton. she was a healthy, beautiful baby girl. everyone was happy, and they became the perfect little family. things went smoothly, enough so that they decided to give madison a younger sibling. since they loved kids, why not? a year and a half after madi was brought into the world, her brother michael was born. the girl loved him right away, and when he got older, the two got along wonderfully. their childhood was great, they learned everything without any difficulties, had no problems making friends, and ultimately had no problems at home. well, until madison was in fifth grade.
when madison was eleven, she was surprised one day by her mother picking her and her brother up at school. it seemed like a good day at first. after all, her mother came to pick her and her brother up early at school. what kid didn’t love that? but when they saw that their mother had been crying, it wasn’t so great. something had to be wrong, and it scared them. when the two heard the bad news about their father, they cried uncontrollably, as expected. they didn’t know if he was going to survive. his car had been hit by a drunk driver. they went to the hospital immediately to visit him and talk to the doctors. their prognosis wasn’t good, and all they could do was hope for the best. over time, things got better. he recovered fully after a couple months of hard work. he still had a few minor problems, but nothing too bad. everyone was just completely happy the man was alive. life was pretty wonderful yet again until madison entered eighth grade. things went downhill from there.
at first, it really was perfect. she had her first boyfriend, and no one really expected it to last long. after all, they were still young. that factor didn’t seemed to mean much. the two fell head over heels in love, and never wanted to break up. they seemed like the perfect couple, and they rarely ever fought. they were the epitome of cliché, as most put it. not wanting break up to didn’t mean it wasn’t eventually going to happen though. after two years and many ups and downs, they finally broke up. well, madi simply told him she was leaving. over the past two years, he’d been treating her like dirt in front of his friends. he’d boss her around, giving her little respect. he had also pushed her into the habit of smoking, something madi had never wanted to do. he was amazing when it was just them though. this treatment didn’t seem right to her, and she needed to straighten things out. life with him was amazing, but it was also not that amazing at the same time. she couldn’t live with that.
the first couple of months afterward were difficult, as he’d try to confront her in school and avoiding him was hard. madison looked into online high school courses, and brought up the idea to her parents. they were hesitant, but when they saw how much it meant to her, they went along with it. the conversion wasn’t difficult, and madison was excelling. it gave her a lot more time for herself, mostly to her music. she didn't plan on being a famous musician, but madi loved making music. she played instruments to calm down, to settle her nerves. it was just something she loved so much.
over the summer after her junior year, madison thought hard about going back to school. she didn't miss the drama and the jerks, but being around people and being social was fun. she eventually decided to go back. well, close. in the fall she will begin her senior year.
madison had been to new york plenty of times, but she still wasn’t quite used to living there. compared to living down the shore, this was pretty intense. well, mostly just different. going from a sleepy town to the city that never sleeps was quite a difference, and the first few nights had left her lying awake at night. eventually exhaustion set in (and she got used to the noise), and madi had no troubles in her new environment. except for homesickness. work distracted her from that, and now central park was. for a photographer, the park was heaven. there were potential shots everywhere, and it definitely made a great background for any kind of photoshoot.Celeb:
she entered the park, camera in hand, ready to capture anything she could. on a nice summer day, madi expected she’d get tons of nature shots, maybe even a few of people she didn’t know. of course, she’d ask if it was okay that she keep it afterwards. why ruin the shot with asking if it was okay? it was just as easy to delete it. her shoes thudded against the pathway as she walked through the park, stopping to look at some of the flowers blooming. a quick look at the lcd screen ensured madison’s favorite camera had the shot in its memory. the pink haired girl took a few more shots as she made her way down the stretch of pavement. this was something she loved, but it was beginning to get a little tedious.
spotting a bench nearby, the pink haired girl walked over and set herself down before pulling her phone out of her pocket. even though she had a bag, her iphone was jammed in her pocket to avoid losing it. it was her baby almost as much as her camera. she sent a quick text to her brother, who was starting his driving lessons. she thought it was crazy seeing him growing up, even though he was only a year and a half younger than her. it just made her feel old, really, as lame as it sounded. her phone was shoved back into her pocket and she looked out across the view in front of her. sometimes it was nice to just watch people live, even though it seemed really creepy. it was cute to watch a little girl chase after a butterfly, or an elderly couple walk the path holding hands.
deciding the get back to taking pictures, madi got up and continued walking, keeping an eye out for anything photo-worthy. nothing was quite working out. it was disappointing. wandering while trying to find something didn’t seem to work out too well, because madison had begun to space out and didn’t realize she was getting closer to someone. a small jolt shook her out of her reverie, apologies passing her lips instantly. “ugh, i’m so sorry, i completely spaced out. i should have been paying attention.” it was always embarrassing to bump into someone, because, to madi, they got the impression you were careless and stupid.
