although she's never really known her mother, her father has always told her that she has the same face shape and bone structure as her mother. Maddie has a very strong jaw, with a cleft at her chin that she used to be self-conscious of. over time, she's learned to accept it and love it as something that gives her character. it's quite a memorable face shape. her skin is pretty even, although like every teenager she does get the occasional zit or breakout. she has some italian and spanish blood in her heritage, which accounts for her tendency to tan very easily in the sun. most of the time her skin has a very healthy light tan to it, but she can get very dark if she stays out in the sun in the summer. during winter she gets very pale; living in London has made her even paler than she should be. She almost always has a naturally healthy blush to her cheeks that suits her pleasant personality and gives her face a warmth that comforts people. her cheekbones sit well on her face, and although they aren't superbly defined, they are visible with the right highlighting. her father always tells her she looks like her mother, which she does.

Maddie's hair has been a rollercoaster ride for her. she never really knew what to expect from it. her father has fairly straight hair that curls at the tips, so that was what she thought she might inherit. again, her father said that her hair was more like her mother's side of the family. it was thick and it curled a little when she was a toddler, but as she grew older it eventually straightened itself out. it was a light chestnut color, which generally complimented her features well. she began to dye her hair darker to look more like her father, eventually reaching a very dark shade which she likes to keep now. in her teens, her hair has become much more curly than it used to be. it's more common for her to wear her hair curly than straight, because she doesn't always like to take the time to make her hair straighter. besides, curls are thought of as the more sophisticated and ladylike hairdo, and Madeline has always followed protocol. she usually has some style of bangs cut in because they frame her face well, and they're either full on blunt bangs, or swept off to the side. she is known to wear different hairstyles, but mostly she just leaves her hair down.

her eyes rest between two well-shaped, arching eyebrows that she keeps very neat and trim. her eyes are well-set into her face, which accentuates her facial structure and makes them pop a little against her fair skin. her eyes are inherited from her dad's side of the family, which is one trait she can definitely attribute to him and the rest of his relatives. Maddie's eyes are a deep chocolate color, which she would describe as a boring brown. in fact, her eyes appear to be liquid and all her emotions are visible in her eyes. she can't keep things hidden from people, no matter how hard she tries - she has a very expressive, almost soulful gaze. almost all the time she has a bright look about her, which makes it appear as though her eyes are constantly glittering. they're shaped in a slightly slanting way, which can be accentuated again by some simple make up. compared to the rest of her features, her eyes are quite small and sometimes she wishes they were bigger - that's the miracle of good mascara. they fit her face well, however. her brows are pretty expressive too, though she does her best to keep her face cool and composed. her father has taught her that it is best to keep emotions under control.

Madeline's nose is straight and pretty average size, and it balances out other features. it is a little bit bigger than the rest of her features, but it works on her face and it isn't very noticeable. over the years, it's grown on her, and it gives her a decent profile. her nose leads down to a pair of rosy, decently sized lips that could almost be described as heart-shaped. they give her a pouty look, as if she's always trying to pose for a picture, when in fact that is their natural shape. she likes to keep them simple, with just a gloss or a chapstick. her smile is shown quite frequently behind these lips, and it's quite big. maddie still doesn't like her smile that much, because it's so much huger than anyone else's she knows - her father just says that it shows how big her heart is. her smile is never fake, always truly genuine and from the heart. it's a grin that almost certainly reaches from ear-to-ear and reveals most of her bottom row as well as her top row of teeth. it's rare that you'll see maddie without a smile on her pretty face.

her body is something that she has had to keep track of, unlike many other girls. she has a good metabolism, but under her father's scrutiny she's always been conscious of her weight. she eats well, and plays many recreational sports to keep herself fit. she's pretty thin for her age, but not too thin - she has all the womanly curves that are right for her age. she has a toned figure in most areas of her body, but everyone would like to improve - she really doesn't like her arms still. there was a time in her life when she was starting to gain weight because of puberty and her father found it slightly unbecoming, so she took to starving herself and purging at meals to maintain her weight. it wasn't good for her, but she thought it was the only way. eventually she was made to stop, but she still has that apprehension about food that she just can't shake. her legs are pretty long and fit her frame well, so she is definitely in proportion. there is nothing about her that oozes sex appeal, but she does have that dark look that makes her exotic and sexy in her own way. she just appears more on the cute side because that's more of the person that she is.

she chooses to dress herself in vintage clothing, and things that flatter her body very well. she likes to wear different colored tights, pea coats, laces, dresses, and things that look fancy and well-to-do. she's been raised in that kind of society, so she's pretty used to those types of clothes. more and more, she's getting used to the idea that people can wear jeans and a nice top to go out, but she'd rather die than go out in a pair of sweatpants. her pj's are much more sophisticated than that. secretly, she really likes old band shirts and hairmetal looks. she likes to wear dark colors and high boots, and have a rocker edge that she wishes she could wear out in public more often. unfortunately she has to hide that she feels this way, but she thinks its for the better. her dreams can wait. there's hardly a day when you don't see her in an outfit that just fits her to a t. she's not overly sophisticated in her tastes; she likes expensive, but it's usually simple and to the point.

Personality:

first and foremost, Madeline is friendly. she's always had a welcoming disposition, even as a young child. she likes to approach people and get to know them; usually she's the one making rounds in a room, getting people's names and making them smile. she always has a huge, welcoming grin on her face an she's well-versed in the skill of small-talk. she is hardly ever awkward when she's in her element, and she knows how to make people feel comfortable with her. she has this likability about her that makes her easy to get along with, and draws people to her. she can't help but want to be around people, she's a people person.

her father used to joke that she was so sweet that her veins must run with sugar, not blood. she is probably the sweetest person you could hope to meet, and she's not putting up an act. he always has other people's best intentions in mind, especially if it's someone she cares about. she notices the little things about people and when she loves them, she practically memorizes them. she loves to do good things for others, just to get them to smile. he almost always has a smile on her face, which makes her approachable and friendly-looking. there's never a moment when she looks hostile, unless she means to. people have taken advantage of her sweetness in the past, and there's really nothing she could have done, but over time she's grown a thicker skin. it doesn't stop her from being affectionate and holding her arms out for anyone.

now, Maddie is a bit naive when it comes to the way things work in the world. she is well aware of what happens when a man and a woman love each other, but she's never experienced any of it for herself. she's been single up to this point in her life, and she hasn't really put all that dating stuff at the top of her priorities. she's just very simplistic and almost child-like in her view of the world. she doesn't like to look for the bad in people, and she always sees the positive side and ignores the negative. she's got a pure, light way of doing things that's refreshing to see, especially in today's times. that being said, she can be a bit of a pushover sometimes. she isn't really 100% sure of everything and when she isn't, she just lets other people take charge. this isn't always a good thing for her, and she's working up the will to resist what people push her around to do.

the young woman has a lot of passion in her small body. she has an enthusiasm for life, and a zest for almost everything she does. this passionate side fully manifests itself whenever she's playing piano or guitar, or singing. she puts her heart into these things, and the hunger in her eyes when she does them is evident. she has the drive and the determination to get herself places, and she knows what she wants out of life. she's the kind of girl who does things fully, with her mind set on it all the way. she has the hunger burning in her eyes to touch the stars, and at the rate she's going she just might do that.

it's cute of her, but Maddie is very gullible. if you tell her the sky is falling, she'll believe it. she knows better than to fall for tricks, but she really hasn't been tricked all too much - she's never had many friends around her age to joke around with. she's also extremely curious, and she always wants to know why things work, and how. her curiosity as a child got her in a lot of trouble, since she was always sticking her nose where it didn't belong. she's the kind of girl who isn't interested in why curiosity killed the cat, she wants to know how exactly the cat died. she's inquisitive and that adds to her youthful presence.

she's a strong girl. having been raised alone, she knows what it's like not to have anyone there and she faces it. she's not one to back down. she has this quiet resilience about her that makes her seem that much stronger, and unafraid. she takes on challenges, does things she's never done, and walks into the unknown with a can-do attitude. even when times are hard, she looks ahead and knows that they will be better. she fights for the things she loves, and she's not afraid to do it. after all that she's been through, delilah is a very strong girl. she doesn't let things get to her and she works through problems with her eyes narrowed and her jaw set. she has strong bones and doesn't bruise easily, thanks to the many things she's gone through. he tries to hide her emotions and be as strong as possible. she knows that life is a live and learn sort of a thing, and she works hard to keep that perspective. she almost challenges the bad things in her life, as if saying "is that the best you can do to me?" yeah, she's got a weaker, softer spot, but she doesn't like to show it. sometimes it comes out, though, and she just breaks down. those moments are few and far between, however.

she is the biggest romantic that she knows. she loves love. she writes about it, sings about it, dreams about it, and thinks about it a lot. she's almost always at her happiest when she's in love with someone, or in a relationship. she likes the cute little things like stargazing, going to movies, falling asleep in someone's arms, and the adorable kisses too. she is looking for that one person that can always make her happy, and she's more than willing to prove that she can be the perfect girl. once she has a crush, she memorizes every little thing about them until she knows them like the back of her hand. she's willing to prove that she could be the one girl that could be perfect for them. she wants to be happy, and she wants to be in love. it's the best feeling for her. she's a sucker for all the cards and the flowers and the romantic songs and movies. it's easy to win her heart, because secretly she's crossing her fingers and wishing for her own romeo and juliet story.

once you've become a close friend to Maddie, you're a friend for life and she'll always fight for you. she's as loyal as a dog, and she'd do anything for her friends in a heartbeat. she doesn't stray from her true colors and makes sure to stick by people, because it's just in her nature. she can go along with life's changes, but she refuses to give up on those she holds dearest. her fiercely loyal nature is a comforting thing to some people, because she will always be there. once she believes in someone, she'd walk a million miles if they asked her to. she's the friend you can count on to bring you your favorite drink, ice cream, and movies when you've had your heart broken. she loves her family and is especially loyal to them, often skipping out on friend functions to spend time with them. she has a strong ideals of her morals and who she wants in her life, and those are the things that she's most loyal to.

Madeline has a very big heart. she's very full of love and is willing to give it to almost everyone. it saddens her to think that there are people who don't get love on a daily basis, so she tries to provide that. she can't help but hold people and make them feel better, and she's got a very nurturing sort of nature. she does her best with charities and local non-profit organizations to improve the lives of the underprivileged. she can be hurt easily because of her capacity to love, but she really can't help that. sometimes as she's cried from the pain, she wishes that she wasn't so eager to love. she falls in love with almost everything and everyone very easily, and although it does have its negative side, her family adores her for it. her friends find her a constant source of comfort, and she's willing to help them all the time. quite simply, Maddie's a girl who loves love.

Through and through, she's an honest girl. she won't lie if she doesn't have to, and likes to stay true to herself and her family and friends. she'll tell you the truth, even if it is in the nicest way possible. she doesn't like to lie, it's not something she wants to be known for and it's not in her personality. she's very trustworthy and keeps secrets well. she's a good shoulder to go cry on, if you need to. she's always there for people. the key to Maddie is her unbridled genuineness. she's never been fake before in her life and wouldn't know where to start. she is always who she says she is. she does everything without an ulterior motive or personal gain, she just wants to be the best person she can be. it's rare to find someone like her.

because of her upbringing she's very cultured. she doesn't know how to have fun. she hardly knows what the word means, especially in California. she does harbor a secret side, however, the part of her that just wants to let loose and rock and roll all the time. she wants to wear the funky outfits and makeup and be all about her music, but she doesn't want to disappoint her father. she's caught in a hard place. she wants to let go and let loose, but she needs someone to show her how to do it.

all in all, Maddie's a gem of a girl. she's sweet, genuine, sincere, faithful, trustworthy, kind, loving, romantic, talented, and full of chances. she always keeps her arms open. it's not hard to fall in love with a girl like her.

History:

for as long as she's known, Madeline Fox has been a single child. Her father, Charles Fox, is a wealthy business man who likes to jetset around the world. he keeps a permanent residence just outside of London, England, but he doesn't like to settle in one place for too long.

she doesn't know the details, but her father and mother split soon after she was born. she doesn't know that she has a twin sister who is living with her mother, just as she has lived with her father all her life. she's been lead to believe that her mother just doesn't exist, almost, because she has never been allowed to see her or even speak of her. so she was raised as an only child in a big English countryside manor, by all the maids and caretakers hired to take care of her. her father was of course an excellent father, who always made her laugh. he was charming and smart and all she could ever want, and she grew up to be the apple of his eye. he doted on her, spoiled her with all sorts of gifts and presents - it was a wonder that she didn't go rotten. her disposition has always been kind, cheerful, and sincere. she didn't like to lie, even as a child.

as she grew older, her father began to enter her in different spots and different schools, transferring her frequently as he moved to conduct his business. she has gone to schools all over Europe, and as a result is very cultured and knows a lot about world history and etiquette in different countries. she's also become quite proficient at speaking languages, being most fluent in French after English. she never had a particularly troubling childhood, always doing as her father told her and attending all the fancy gala's and high end events. all her life, she's only known the proper side of things. she never cut loose and ran around and got her dress dirty, she stayed inside and practiced her piano lessons and learned languages and subjects.

when she was 12 years old, Maddie was flipping through television channels when she found an old special on the heroines of rock music. she was so surprised to see women on stage, shaking their hair so violently and singing so loudly. something in that music touched her, however, so she secretly began to collect classic rock and hairmetal bands, and listened to them in her room whenever she had time. she fell in love with the style, and ever since there it's been her secret dream to be a rockstar. she can play guitar well-enough and her voice is superb for her age, so she thinks she might have a shot. she's never told her father about this, however; surely he wouldn't approve of this behavior from her. when she turned 15, her father announced that within the year they would be moving back to America. they had a great opportunity in LA, and she was thrilled to hear this - maybe she could have her shot at a record deal. she did the paperwork for Hillard Academy, but by the time she flew in at the start of her sophomore year, they had merged Hillard and Lincoln into Central High. Her father was appalled and was going to send her to another private school, but she insisted on attending Central and assured her father she could handle it.

She's just started, and so far everything is overwhelming. she sticks out like a sore thumb in California, with her British accent and everything. she dresses differently, acts differently, and feels kind of awkward. she is having a hard time fitting in, but she's managing - her bright personality is helping out in that regard. all her life she's never known how to have fun, so she wants to learn how to let go and live a little. she wants to find someone who can show her how.
