Appearence:
Standing at 5'3", she doesn't have much going for her when it comes to height. So the whole "legs until Tuesday" factor doesn't apply to her. She blames the Filipino genes that were thrown at her from her mother. Her father on the hand is six feet tall.Personality:
Being half Filipino, Roxanne has the tanned skin, black hair, and dark eyes. Thankfully, her Italian genes from her father gave her a relatively strong bone structure. With a slight cliff on her chin, she has high cheek bones that make her look like she's smirking half the time.
After previously being one of the Queen Bees in her old school, Roxanne definitely knows how to look good without showing much effort. Receiving her father's naturally wavy hair, Roxanne hardly does much to it anyway. In her opinion, her head looks demented when it's straightened. On occasion, she will curl it even more or spritz some hair spray in. Hating how boring her brown eyes are, Roxanne does her best spice them up with her eye make up without looking like a hootch. Most of the time, she never wears foundation because she hates the feel of it but if a pimple calls for it, she uses cover up.
Not one to let herself gain any weight, Roxanne used to work out to keep in shape despite the fact that she's naturally thin. She isn't the sort who excersises vigorously for fear of looking like a body builder so she only goes to the gym whenever she feels that she ate too much.
To most people at Central, Roxanne is just some typical book worm-Geek who just happens to be pretty enough to be royalty. They seem to think that she, like the rest of her clique, is a pushover and will do whatever anyone from the higher ranks says. Wrong. Yes, she tries her best to be nice but at times, she isn't very successful. Usually, Roxanne is laid back, caught reading some random book, or doing her homework. Due to her looks, she tutored a number of boys -mainly jocks. When they first found out that she "happily" accepted to help them out, they either assumed that a) they would get her to do all the work, b) get in her pants, or c) all of the above. Wrong again. Being as proud as she is, she refuses to be pushed around by guys who can't even spell their own names. Of course it came as a surprise to them because it isn't typical behavior for a geek and the number of people she tutored decreased.History:
Roxanne wasn't always a geek. The year before, she used to be one of the Queen Bees in her old school. It may not seem like it at first glance but if you squint, she definitely has the bitchy and cunning attitude to be one. Knowing how to completely destroy someone, Roxanne isn't the right person to mess with. She's snappy and speaks her mind at all times. Surprisingly, she isn't as fake as most Queen Bees are but Roxanne knows how to charm others to get her way. The only reason why she's a geek and nothing higher is because she simply just stopped caring after her old school. Seeing as what happened to her, she sees no point to climb to the top anymore. For her, it would be easy but she realized how completely pointless it was to do so. Instead, she stuck with reading books almost 24/7 and snarking at people if she absolutely needed to.
Being generally a nice person when on her good side, Roxanne makes casual friends fairly easily and is extremely loyal to those she genuinely likes. Having been at the top of the food chain before and what things spread around about her in her old school, Roxanne is on guard the majority of the time. Though her humour is sarcastic, Roxanne watches what she says at all times. Being fully aware of what the gossips are capable of doing, Roxanne avoids talking about herself and her past. Making friends with the geeks, Roxanne feels terrible about how she treated this clique in her previous school. Not to mention that they're far more trust worthy than those of the higher groups.
All complements aside, when Roxanne gets pissed, things get really ugly. She's smart unlike some who are more popular. When in a small argument, Roxanne knows how to stand her ground and will poke at sensitive spots if she has to. However, if someone really gets her worked up, she's cunning enough to bring someone down and maybe even push them into a lower clique if she feels like it.In reality, all this is because she's extremely self conscious. She may seem confident to most people but really, all her actions are mainly just defensive mechanisms.
Gloria Roxanne Tancredi came into this world almost eighteen years ago on October tenth in New York. Being an only child, Roxanne was very used to all the attention on her. People would always gave her what she wanted thanks to her charm and manipulation skills but her parents were careful not to spoil her rotten. Having a doctor and a nurse for parents, Roxanne's family was pretty well of in the higher middle class.Sample Rp:
Wanting their daughter to have a good education, Annabelle and Andrew Tancredi enrolled Roxanne in a prestigious private school right in the middle of New York. Being as outgoing as she was, Roxanne was quick to make friends and made her way to the top with her best "friend" Dakota. Together they were Queen Bees. Yes, not one, but two Queen Bees. You can only imagine how chaotic it was. Attached at the hip, they ruled the school together but secretly wanted to step on the other. Both jumped at opportunities to crush the other girl but pretended to be BFFs infront of everyone else.
It seemed like Roxanne was winning because she was clearly the brains of the pair and easily made Dakota sound and look like an idiot. It wasn't until a party that settled it. Andrew and Annabelle informed their daughter that they were moving to California so she wouldn't be returning to her old school the following year. Her senior year. The night Roxanne was told this, it was a week away from a party that Dakota was planning on throwing. Originally, it was meant to be "small" but after finding out about her best friend moving, Dakota invited more people.
It was a rough party and things got out of hand. Everyone was so wasted, some had to be rushed to the hospital to get their stomach pumped. Dakota tried her best to stay sober for the sake of saving any items that got trashed and because all the gossips were there while Roxanne got pretty drunk. Of course, Dakota made sure that all the gossips attended the party to catch Roxanne if she made any mistakes while drunk while she remained sober and steered away from trouble that night. Surely enough, a gossip caught Roxanne locking lips with another girl. It wasn't even just a kiss, they were groping each other and almost eating the other's face off.
The next school day, the story was blown completely out of proportion. Romours were flying around that Roxanne had even slept with the girl. Not really having a problem with her sexuality, Roxanne shrugged it off. She's straight but has no issue with the idea of being otherwise. Roxanne's just simply into guys only it just so happened that she's a wild drunk. Her lack of reaction only made the romours even worse and that she was admitting to it. If it had been anyone else other than Roxanne or Dakota, people wouldn't have cared so much but it was their Queen Bee. Roxanne didn't care that people were saying that she was queer, it was just the fact that half of the story wasn't even true and it pushed her to the bottom of the food chain. It disgusted her how everyone from her old group of friends had abandoned her. The worst part was that Dakota fed a gossip that Roxanne had tried to make moves on her. At that point, Roxanne just gave up because she saw no point to it seeing as she wouldn't be going to that school much longer. Instead, it just opened her eyes to how completely stupid the whole system was.
When Rixanne came into Central, a flock of students, mainly boys, gladly greeted her. Only being friendly and brushing off the popular people, she sparked an interest with the gossips. They figured that something was up in her old school judging by how she didn't want to be popular. Noticing their attention, Roxanne just turned to books and made most of the school think that she was a shy geek who didn't know how to interact with people properly. Not even close to planing her rise to the top or being popular again, Roxanne just believes that the populate are all just dimwitted idiots and refuses to care about the system. Occasionally, Roxanne plots a few ways to bring down the Queen Bee just for fun but she hasn't seriously considered it.
Celeb:It's raining. Thank. God.
Jacques hasn't been out doors in such a long time because the sun blared in his eyes. Even with sunglasses on, it's painful to just simply look out the window. It doesn't help that somehow his powers have been enhanced ever since he got a case of the sniffles. It's nothing to bad. At least, it doesn't seem like it. And yet, despite the fact that he's starting to catch a cold, Jacques-Pierre Wesley is here, out by the lake, while it's raining. It's not a downpour or anything. If it was, Jacques would have stayed in his room. It's only a light drizzle; Jacques' favourite weather ever since he got his powers. There isn't any strong sunlight that peaks through the clouds, the rain drops refresh his skin, and it's not raining hard enough to drench his skin.
The brunette at least had some sense to wear a raincoat. It's not too chilly so he didn't bother wearing a sweater underneath. Instead, he just has a casual button up shirt accompanied with his usual shoes and jeans. Of course, he mad sure to have on his earplugs and sunglasses. Yes, it's raining and Jacques is wearing sunglasses. Someone who didn't know that he has enhanced vision would have thought that he's being obnoxious and trying to be stylish. Not true at all. If he had the choice, he would never look at a pair of sunglasses ever again. He doesn't even like sunglasses. They're far too arrogant for him. The celebrities always wear them as if they're "trying" to hide their identity yet it's clear who it is. Alas, he's cursed with having them on as well as earplugs. Don't even get him started on the earplugs. They hurt having them in his ears especially when he puts them on. At night when he sleeps, he still has to keep them on because the sounds of the movements of his roommates wake him up.
It's about dinner time and it's starting to get dark. If the sun was out, it would be setting right now. Before Jacques got his powers, he used to appreciate the sight whenever he could. Of course he can't anymore. Nevertheless, the scenery is quite beautiful by itself in a gloomy sense. The droplets are visible as they meet the surface of the lake. The light breeze is causing the relaxing sound of quiet rustling. The sound is muffled to Jacques because he has his trusty earplugs on. Since no one is around, he assumes that it's safe to take them off and stuff them into the pocket of his raincoat. No matter how far away Jacques is from the Academy, he can still hear the soft patter of students feet meeting the pavement. It's so relieving to finally have those blasted things out of his ears. It's the first time Jacques has taken them off since he got them and they feels sore like none other. His surroundings are louder than usual but he can live.
Stopping a few metres away from the waters of the lake, Jacques takes a seat on a small rock. There's a loud grumble coming from his stomach and he makes a face. Good thing he brought food. Reaching into his satchel, he pulls out a turkey sandwich he got from the cafeteria prior to coming out here. Taking a bite out of it, Jacques wishes that he had enhanced taste as well. That he would like. Then again, it wouldn't be so nice if he ate something disgusting like his sister's cooking. Idly, he wonders what his mom and sister are doing right not. They're probably home right now eating together. His thoughts trail towards what's going on with his father. Ever since he got to Nightfall, it's as if his father never existed. Perhaps that's for the best after what he put all of them through.
Finally taking the last bite of his sandwich, Jacques can feel a sneeze rising. Uh oh. Quickly, he swallow the last bit of food before a loud Achoo! disrupts the calm setting. Jacques wipes his nose notices how eerily quiet it is. How can he be quiet? He can still hear the leaves of the trees blowing through the wind but the sound isn't as detailed. freezing, he listens for the people back at Ashford's steps. Nothing. It's like... he has normal hearing. This can't be good. In the middle of his thoughts, Jacques sneezes again. All the sounds are back but three times worse than it actually is. The footsteps sound like he's right there beside the person who is walking pressing his ears to the floor.
Another sneeze. It's so powerful that it sends him off the rock he was sitting on. His powers are ten times worse. Now, it's as if someone has a megaphone to his ear beating a drum. "Ah!" he exclaims and curls into a ball on the grass.
"Achoo!"
Now he has the hearing of a normal human being. Jacques relaxes and remains on the ground breathing heavily. This is not good at all.

Hellos I'm Stella and I'm fifteen. I've been roleplaying roughly nine months now. At the momment, I'm on a new site called Follow the Butterflies, a post Harry Potter site but it just died randomly D: As for contact, I'd much rather prefer PMing because I don't feel comfortable with handing out my e-mail and I don't have an AIM. On a side note, I'm Canadian so a few of the words I spell will be a bit different.
