Personality:
At 5'5 and weighing in at 120 pounds, Brooke has a great figure. Her curves are those of a model and she's been asked if she is one on several occasions. She's slim, but not too slim. Maintaining her figure involves a mile run every day before school and swimming some laps whenever she can fit it in.
Although her figure is great, the most distinguishing thing about Brooke is her face. Heart-shaped with lush, full lips, her complexion is, well, perfect. This is one thing that doesn't take a lot of effort on Brooke's part. Rarely do zits show up, as long as she uses her facial wash every day. She has one of those smaller, button noses - and yes, it's real. Makeup for Brooke generally involves a soft dusting of bronzer with a light pink highlighting her cheeks. She always keeps a shimmery, pink lip gloss on hand. As for her eyes, she does mostly the same thing every day, but it always looks gorgeous. Her lashes are made about three times longer than they really are with tons of mascara. A soft eyeliner frames the bottom half of her bright, clear blue eyes which have that almond shape to them. She likes to change up her eyeshadow color every day, and she tries not to wear the same shade twice in a row, just for some spontaneity.
Framing her face are gorgeous, sunny-blonde locks of hair. Aside from the highlights, her hair color is natural. Most days, Brooke curls her hair, but sometimes she'll straighten it, like maybe when there's a football game she'll be cheering for. She goes in to get it cut about once every three months, to keep it looking perfect, just like the rest of her.
As for clothing, Brooke is always in the best, newest and most stylish stuff. Hollister is her favorite store, right up there with Abercrombie and Fitch. Her favorite colors for clothing are pink, white and blue. Most of the time, she's in low halter tops or something slutty. Short-shorts are basically the only type of bottoms she'll wear. Oddly enough, Brooke barely wears any accessories. Other than bringing with her one of twenty purses, she might wear a simple necklace along with a bracelet, but other than that, she's very simple with accessories. Overall, Brooke has the typical appearance of most teen girls and the same obsession with it. Yes, most people consider her wardrobe slutty, but it works for her.
In Brooke's world, there are three obsessions: cheerleading, her popularity and herself.History:
Cheerleading takes up a lot of Brooke's time. She's incredibly devoted. She was on a competitive cheerleading squad throughout middle school, where there wasn't a squad, so when she came to Central High in her Freshman year, she already had a very good start in the sport. She takes a tumbling class to keep herself flexible and she practices and practices until she nails a cheer.
Brooke isn't the most popular girl in school, but she's certainly likeable. She's actually one of the more well-behaved preps out there. She drinks, but just until she's tipsy. Rarely does she get full-out drunk. She doesn't smoke or do drugs and she's more comfortable around guys than girls. Brooke is always pretty dependable and usually ends up being the designated driver. When it comes to her grades, she does pretty well, usually averaging B's in all her classes, except for Trig, where she tends to get C's.
Brooke is a very conceited, dramatic person, though. She loves to blow things out of proportion and make a big deal out of something small. Plus, she really does think only about herself. She's always concerned about how she comes off to other people. "Am I sitting right? Do I look fat in this? Will I look stupid if I do this?" Even though most people don't care all that much, she thinks they do.
Brooke's entire childhood involved being up in front of crowds all of the time. Her father owns a very large and successful law firm, so naturally she's always been rich. She was incredibly spoiled - anything she wanted, she got. Brooke's mother has always been very ambitious and she loves to see her daughter up on stage. She never pushed Brooke too hard though and always made sure to let her do what she liked.Sample Rp:
At about five years old, she entered Brooke in beauty pageants, those little kid ones. She did very well in those but started to get bored with them after a couple of years. When she turned eight, Brooke signed up for dance and wasn't as good as she'd have liked, but she did okay. Brooke has never been shy and she loves the stage, the attention, the glory. When she got into middle school, she found the wonders of cheerleading. Brooke had a natural talent for it and joined a competitive cheerleading squad since the middle school didn't compete. Most of the girls on the team also did the same tumbling class, so of course she joined that as well. She dropped dance and devoted most of her time to cheerleading.
Brooke never really managed to keep a best friend, but she had a lot of close ones. In elementary school, there was Morgan, Elizabeth and Emma. In middle school, it was Laura and Megan. For the first half of her life, Brooke was growing up in the big city of Chicago. She loved it and when her father told her they were moving to Central, she freaked out. She immediately started going out in the city as much as possible. Anything in Chicago she could do, she did. She went everywhere she could go in the city in a week with her friend at the time, Laura. When she finally moved in the middle of summer, it turned out she liked the beach. She still missed Chicago's night life, but the beach was great too. They bought a nice house on the coastline and when the semester started, Brooke was signed up for Central High, where she quickly decided to be one of the preps, which seemed to fit her best. She was still able to do cheerleading and tumbling, so it worked out.
OOC - Yeah....Histories are not my thing.
The long, florescent lights really looked different when you were seeing spots. Sitting up, Brooke held her hands to her head and pressed her finger to her temple for a second. She sat, digging her fingers into the furry blue carpet for a minute, thinking what she did wrong on that routine. "Shit," she muttered as she got up and wiped her sweaty hands off on her bright pink shorts. She'd overshot what she'd been trying on the tumble track. She hadn't given herself enough room to try a flip after the back handspring. The gym was mostly empty, except for a class of little kids learning round-offs and a couple of others. One guy doing front tucks into the pit, a girl twisting around on the uneven bars and another girl, older than Brooke, doing cartwheels on the beam. The kids were getting halfway into their round-offs and then letting their coach do the rest, then laughing when they messed up. Was I ever that bad? she thought to herself, unhappy with the idea of a little 8-year-old Brooke giggling as she fell from a round-off. She went over to take a few sips of water before getting back to her routine.Celeb:
Cheerleading was Brooke's life. She loved the feeling when they were done with a routine or a stunt and the crowd went nuts for them. Tumbling was great, too. When you finally stuck the landing on something you'd been working on for weeks - it was exhilarating and you wanted to do it over and over once you knew you could. Now, however, frustration started to kick in with this annoying routine that she couldn't seem to perfect. Brooke backed up a couple of paces and tightened the hot pink hair tie that held back her long, pin-straight, blonde hair. She pulled down her shirt, which was just an old black cheerleading one from Sophomore year over some pink shorts with 'CHEER' on the butt.
Her bright blue eyes looked over the tumble track, trying to figure out what she could do to make the routine work. Her hands on her hips, she figured if she took out one of the round-offs, she'd have plenty of room to make a flip. She tried it out, the entire gym going upside down and flipping around a few times until she finished and stuck the landing, throwing her arms up and putting on a winning smile for the white wall in front of her. Yes! she thought, pulling her hands down and backing up to try again.
OOC - Baah, I know, sucky ending. And yes, I'd give it a template or something in a normal RP.
Ashley BensonOut Of Character:
My name's Ashley and I've been RPing for about two years, but I've just taken a really long break, so I might be a bit rusty. The only other sites I actually got involved in were warriors sites. It was RPing cats.. Yeah. That was one reason for my little break, I can't really take RPing cats seriously, so I'd like to try humans. I'm almost always on AIM, but I usually switch between two different ones, so I might not always be on. TwiFi328 is my AIM, though.
Sorry this took so long. I've had an unusually busy week. :/
