He's your all around country boy, he doesn't care what he looks like or what other people think about what he wears. You rarely ever see him with out his hat and belt buckles he loves the look and nothings been able to change that. Tristan grew up in a small town in new jersey which landed him his not give a damn looks, which most girls would melt for. One look in his eyes and they would have sworn that they had fell in love with him. Everything about him just pulled you in, invited you into his life.Personality:
He's worked outside his whole life raising horses and working on farms there forth his perfectly tanned skin and sun kissed hair. By birth it was a dark blonde but being bleached from the sun its a lot lighter now then it was before. Tristan never looses his tan even in the winter, its like he's been burned all the way but since thats not possible I guess we can't say that he's like that.
Everything about tristan seems just perfect, like he doesn't have a single flaw his hairs always right, theres always a sparkle in his eye, and a smile on his face. Even if he's mad or upset he looks like he's happy. Tristan's face and actions never give away whats going on in his life. You can't read his eyes or movements like some people and thats how he plans to keep it. Despite what ever is going on in his life you would think that he is the happiest person around, about the only way you could tell he was mad is by the tone of his voice.
DETERMINED.History:
There are many different ways to describe Tristan’s personality. I guess one of the bigger traits would probably have to be how he is so determined all the time. He’s very strongly motivated. He adores succeeding, and he always has a mindset to get something completed and done with. Tristan is driven guy, and always completes things upon the task he was given.
PROTECTIVE.
Tristan is one of the most caring, and protective guys ever. He’s always protecting people he’s close to, and always caring about others before him. It was the way he was brought as a kid. His father taught him to protect those you care about, and also to put your lady's needs before your own. It’s just always been one of his strongest personality traits he has.
HOPELESS ROMANTIC.
Tristan is just about the sweetest, most romantic guy you could ever think of. He loves cuddling, and he loves bringing girls chocolates or flowers. He loves opening doors for them, and he just loves being with girls. This is just the way that he’s always been, and it’s always been helpful to use when it coms to charming girls. Chivalry isn't dead with this boy. Although, he wouldn't admit it to anyone that he is indeed a hopeless romantic.
DOWN TO EARTH.
Tristan isn’t really into the whole high end fashion stuff. He’s not arrogant, or assertive. He doesn’t think highly of himself, and he doesn’t buy things out of luxury, or things out of pleasure, even though he's known to wear the latest style out of sheer luck of the draw out of his closet. He puts himself in front of others, and is always helping out.
GENUINE.
Tristan is sincere, honest and very real. He’s not afraid to show who he is, and who he will become. He’s real, and very true to himself. He’s not fake, and never will be. It's not in his nature to be two face. Plus, when he's blunt and honest it just avoids any drama.
Ever since Tristan's father was little, Daniel Devereux knew for a fact that he would grow up to be a famous basketball player. His father pushed him rather hard about it all through out his childhood and as he had turned into a young man, and even though he absolutely hated him for it and did break under pressure at times, he just sucked it up and dealt with it anyways. In the end, it always worked out for the best and at one of his senior high school games, there were scouts there and was pretty impressed by his basketball skills. After the game, they had a chat with Daniel, and the rest is history.Sample Rp:
Marcia Anderson was never really sure though what she would become when she got older. At some point she wanted to be a fashion designer, or a celebrity make-up artist, just anything that had to do with meeting celebrities or becoming one her. She was a very outgoing girl and enjoyed talking to new people, so her parents had suggested just anything that had to do with that. When she had turned 16 though, her future plans had to be put on hold when she became pregnant with her long-term boyfriend. 9 months later, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl to be named Andrea Underwood. Having to take care of her daughter was hard, but Marcia still seemed to make her dreams happen. She was just glad that her boyfriend, Kevin Underwood, had stuck beside her and not abandoned her like most young boys do when their girlfriend becomes pregnant.
When Andrea was around 2 years old though, Kevin and Marcia had met some troubles in their relationship. Marcia had gotten a job as a news caster and was being assigned to Italy for a few months for reports, and Kevin was only working as a mechanic so he didn't have enough money to go along. In the end, Marcia and Kevin agreed to just break-up with each other. Even though they had a daughter, Kevin promised he would always be there for Andrea even if he wasn't with her mother. With that being said, Marcia left Andrea with Kevin and flew off to Italy.
Daniel Devereux was now 20 years old, and playing in the NBA. Making enough money to last him a life time was amazing, and being one of the more famous players on his team wasn't so bad either. Being an amazing basketball player comes with its consequences, though. During a game, one of the players on the rival team thought it would make his team's chances better to win if they hurt the other team's star player, running into Daniel rather hard during the championship game. It wouldn't have been so bad if another rival team mate wasn't standing on the other side of Daniel, both pretty much tripping the basketball player hard onto the wooden floor. Gasps were heard throughout the large stadium, one of those gasps coming from Marcia Anderson who was filming the game for one of her television stories. When Daniel was brought back up to his feet, he instantly fell back down, everyone seeing that his knee was too badly injured and he wouldn't be able to play basketball again for a while.
Marcia couldn't help but want to get an interview with the star player, especially now that he was injured. She had to ask him about how he thought this would ruin his chances of ever playing again, etc. Being the sneaky reporter that she was, she snuck pass some people and made her way into Daniel's hospital room. Luckily, he didn't get very pissed off at her for trying to talk to him, and she got the interview that she wanted. Marcia couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy though, knowing how close she had come to all of her dreams being crushed and how horrible it had felt. Also, he was pretty charming, even with a bad knee and hospital gown. They actually agreed on going out for dinner when Daniel got better and was released from the hospital, and that's what they did.
Daniel could have gone to therapy and done his rehab for his knee, got better, and play pro basketball again, but he chose against it. His whole life he had been pressured into the sport, and now that he actually had a chance to not play anymore, he was going to take that chance and become your normal guy. He still had his millions of dollars from what he had played, so he didn't have to worry about getting a job anytime soon. Also, he was now dating the lovely Marcia Anderson. Maybe a month after they had started to date though, bad news rolled around. Marcia was pregnant with her second child, this time being a boy who was named Tristan Devereux.
Now being a mother of 2, Marcia wasn't sure what she was going to do. They had talked about just getting an abortion, but couldn't go through with it. Daniel assured Marcia that he would always be there for her no matter what anyways, so in the end, they agreed to have the boy. Daniel had always wanted a son anyways, so on December 5th, 1988 when Tristan was born, Daniel planned on teaching him everything he knew about basketball and raising him as the son he had always wanted.
Andrea would occasionally be flown over to Italy to visit her mother and new baby brother. Although they were just half siblings, Andrea was still sweet to Tristan and looked after him when Marcia or Daniel couldn't. Ever since he was able to just hold a basketball in his hands though, Daniel turned from father to best friend to eventually cruel coach, telling Tristan that no matter what, he was going to be the best basketball player out there when he grew older. It didn't take long for yet another Devereux to roll into the picture Tristan’s younger brother, Lucas, being born just a year after he was.
Since Lucas lived with him, Hunter grew pretty close to his little brother and looked out for him like Andrea had been doing to him. Daniel didn't really care for Lucas as much as he had Hunter, more focused on making Tristan his basketball star and not his younger son. One day when Tristan was 5 years old and Lucas was 4, they were out on one of the local playgrounds with their father while their mother was working on some new interviews. Daniel was too busy watching Tristan trying to dribble the basketball without hitting his face with it to really pay attention to Lucas, unfortunately. Since they weren't on the best side of town, in a split second, Lucas was kidnapped right there in the park by 3 large men, Daniel, Tristan, and nobody else seeing it.
They spent weeks trying to find Lucas, everybody blaming Daniel for it. Tristan was rather depressed over not seeing his little brother, so any thoughts about basketball just sort of drifted off for a little bit. After around 2 months of missing, Lucas' body turned up in the back of an alley in their area of Italy. Now that Lucas was announced dead, the whole McCarthy family just sort of went through a state of depression for a while, Marcia eventually deciding that she couldn't take this place anymore because it gave her too many horrible memories. With that being said, they all packed up, and moved to New Jersey where Daniel had grown up.
Tristan had never really been put into school when he was in Italy because he wasn't old enough yet, so starting kindergarten in New Jersey was as if he had just grown up there his entire life. He made tons of friends instantly, most of them knowing him right away because of his 'famous' father. Since his father was still in the light a bit though, that also meant that everybody knew about his little brother's death. Tristan didn't want anyone feeling sorry for him about it though, so he rarely ever spoke about Lucas until the point that it was like he never even existed.
As he grew older, Daniel continued to push Tristan into basketball, making it his main priority, and decided to move him out to Central, California. He would be much better suited out there instead of New Jersey. Tristan grew taller, more muscular, better looking, and into a great basketball player. It was almost amazing the transformation he had made over the years. His mother finally got the real dream job that she wanted, which was being the hostess of her own television show called The Daily Grind. Meeting celebrities’ everyday was great, now both of his parents being well known. He could have went through the crazy party scene like normal teenagers do, but that wasn't his scene and never will be. Neither is basketball, but sadly his father molded him into being this talented player. He just wants to be back home in, New Jersey riding his horses.
