I'm shy but don't get me wrong; I am friendly, I just don't usually initiate conversation if I don't know you. I like musicals, writing, reading and anything from the 50's. I'm 16 years old and currently going to college here, next year I am going to med school. Intrigued? Read on!
Just a few things to know about me:
- I am straight
- I am 16 years old
- I have a serious heart defect and a lung disease that is slowly killing me. I will need a heart-lung transplant. (This is a secret though!)
- I was abused as a kid and I still am verbally abused by my dad whenever I see or talk to him (which is not very often.) (This is also a secret)
- I want to become a doctor, so I came here to go to med school.
- I am adopted
- I love musicals, acting, reading and writing. And I love music from the 50's!
- I don't drink or do drugs
Love life?! Ha! It is non-existence. Not because I want it to be that way, but because I am too shy to ever ask a girl out. Before I moved to California there was a friend of mine, Carly. We were really close. . . I had the biggest crush on her. I didn't find out till after I got here that she liked me too. Deciding that long distance relationships don't work; we decided to just try and get over one another. I'm still trying too. . .
I tend to over think things when it comes to relationships. I have never had a girlfriend before, I’d like one; but you will have to be up front about your feelings. I don’t catch onto hints very well. I care a lot about people and their feelings, maybe you need a nice guy like me?
Well at first glance, I may seem pretty easy to get along with, which I am. However, I can be very stubborn. I have certain beliefs that I will stand by and defend and if you don’t agree with them, too bad for you. People tend to have a problem with me when I stand up to them for doing something I think is wrong. I am big on stepping up for those who can’t step up for themselves. which tends to make bullies hate me. If you don't like people who do the right thing, we won't get along. [/size]
