Tall, blonde and voluptuous. She has blonde hair and blue eyes that are a bit narrow. Not like an Asian, but narrower than the average Caucasian. Her hair has a slight curl to it, so she rarely ever straightens it. She decided to just let it be the way it was, so instead she uses curling gel and lets her hair decide how it wants to look that day.
She is taller than the average women and very thin. Not athletically built, but she keeps in shape. She likes to make sure she looks good. She likes yoga and dancing. She would jog, but her large chest usually gets in the way and she can never find a bra that supports her enough to let her run. But she isn’t complaining, neither are the guys.
She wears a lot of makeup, but she makes sure that it is natural tones. It’s hard to tell she is wearing makeup because her makeup isn’t wild and crazy. It’s toned down. Really the only thing you can tell she wears is the bright red lipstick she smears onto her wide mouth. Her mouth is probably the one thing about herself she really doesn’t like. She thinks her lips are too thin and her mouth is too wide. She wished she had a smaller, more delicate one. She doesn’t believe in plastic surgery, Botox or any of that stuff, so even though she dislikes apart of herself, she won’t go and get something done to it.

Personality:

Well since she is in the Gossips, she obviously likes to talk. And not just any talk, gossip. She obviously wants to make her way up the social ladder, but right now; she is fairly content with her position in the Gossips. She has high thoughts of herself, so doesn’t take well to people who give her any type of ‘constructive criticism.’ She thinks that’s just a bunch of BS. She feels that if people are going to tell you how they feel about you, then they should do it without hiding behind excuses like: ‘I tell you this because I care about you.’ Or ‘I’m just trying to make you a better person.’ She doesn’t believe in that type of stuff. You say what you mean and you mean what you say. No if’s and’s or but’s. And that applied to her as well. She may be a gossiper, but she doesn’t hide behind excuses or anything like that. She’ll talk bad about you without any hesitation, and she’ll do it to your face, not just your back.

But Kate isn’t all bad. She does have a soft spot. It’s just harder to find it. Very few people did in fact. She is friendly and outgoing, but if she doesn’t like you; or you hurt her, the claws come out. She is loyal to people who are loyal to her. You betray her once, shame on you; and she’ll make sure you don’t forget it. If you hurt one of her good friends, she will also come after you, with full force. She is one of those people who thinks she is better than everyone, but she doesn’t let you know it until she is mad at you. Until then, she will kiss up to you in every way possible, get you on her side and then if/when she gets tired of you; or you hurt her, she tosses you out like last season’s Prada’s.

Money isn’t an issue to Kate. Never has been. Never will be. Her dad is a big hot shot from L.A. A divorce attorney for the rich and famous. Kelsey Grammar, Jesse James, Tiger Woods; yea those types of people go to her daddy. And he spoils her rotten. She doesn’t want to take up the family practice though. No way. Too much stress and stress caused wrinkles and she wasn’t going to get surgery or Botox. So she had to stay worry free. Thankfully she was still young, so she had time to decide what she wanted to be. But so far, being a stripper was what she wanted to be. She has already started posing for some magazine and online sites, and so far she is enjoying.

She is partially enjoying it because it has to do with sex. She loves sex. She isn’t an addict. But she is a flirt. And flirting leads to sex. She can’t help it. She is attractive and men like her. And she likes men. A lot. But she won’t let a guy come in-between her and her friends. Or her and her dreams. No way. She is stubborn and she will do what she wants, no matter what.

History:

Well life would seem lovely for this blue eyed blonde beauty. And there are parts of her life that are lovely. Incredibly lovely. Her home, well more like her estate was beautiful. All ten acres of it. Complete with a pool, hot tub, walk in closet, her own maid and a chief who is always at her call. Yea she had good. But there was a time, a time back in her childhood when she had it great.

She had grown up with a loving mom and a dad who was always around. They would go on family picnics, watch movies together on family movie night. Her dad and she would cook dinner together while her mom set the table. Life was full of giggles and smiles. Then something tragic happened and she never saw her mom ever again. Not only that, her dad rarely ever looked at his daughter. And when they spoke on the rare occasions, her dad could barely hide the sadness in his deep voice.

Now I know what you are thinking, and no her mom did not die. In a way though, it would’ve been better if she had. At least if she had died, Kate wouldn’t wonder every single day of her life ‘why? Why did my mom leave me? Why didn’t she love me anymore?’ If her mom had died, then Kate; although heartbroken, still would’ve known her mom loved her. That her mom had chosen to leave her, instead that she had no choice. But her mom, her mom had made the decision to leave her and her dad. And because of that, her dad decided to become a divorce attorney. He had once been a short order cook. Then when her mom left, something cracked inside of him. He had always been a loving, cuddly type of person. Now his eyes were cold and he never even hugged his own daughter. His daughter who had only been 5 years old at the time her mom had abounded her. She had never gotten a goodbye hug, from either parent.

Kate said goodbye to her childhood as she had to learn to take care of herself now that her own dad couldn’t even look at her. She didn’t blame him. She did look a lot like her mom. But she swore she would never be like her mom. If she didn’t fall in love with someone, then she wouldn’t have to leave them and if she didn’t leave them, they couldn’t get hurt. That was why she was so easy going when it came to guys. Don’t tie yourself down, don’t get hurt.

Her dad had never re-married. Which was probably a good thing considering all the horrible marriages he had seen over the years of his career. But still, it would be nice if she could have a woman in her life. Someone to confide in. Someone to go shopping with. Someone to talk about first loves first boyfriends and someone to braid her hair after she got out of the shower at night. Sure she had a maid and when she was growing up she had a few nannies. But none of them would ever be her mom. And now, it was up to her; to move on with her life as much as she could. Her mom wasn’t coming back and neither was her loving dad. She was on her own now. Perhaps being in the Gossips was her way of forgetting her own life. By making other people’s lives seem so horrible and bad, it helped her feel more normal. She knew it wasn’t right, but it did help ease the pain. Until the rumors died . . . then she was back without a mom and a dad who never talked to her.

Yayy you made another character! Katherine is so close to be what I imagine a gossip to be like. I love how you suggested that she talks about other peoples lives to draw focus off her own. Her history was great, I loved the part about her mum and it's different from her just dying. It'll be great having another gossip. Go post you claims and you're ready.
