With golden bronzed skin, it becomes apparent Evangeline has English roots from her mother, while still maintaining a strong hold to the Indian genes of her father. The English jeans shining through in terms of body figure. Wide hips offset her elongated legs, adding emphasis to the toned muscles in Evangeline's abdomen and lower portion of her body, while slender shoulders accentuate the obtuse curve to her hips. Naturally chestnut hair- Styled in neatly trimmed layers, her hair cascades down to the lower midsection of her back in loose beachy waves. Her hair is naturally wavy and she tends to straighten it or throw it up in a pony-tail at times. Broad, doe shaped eyes sit on either side of her nose, washed out shade of blue- almost Grey with an outer ring of navy, above her high and strong cheek bones, her cheeks appearing to still have baby fat. With lips plump and juicy, the top fuller than the bottom, she often has a seductive, yet unintentional pout. It is said that she has her father's eyes and her mother's lips.Personality:
Evangeline stands short at five feet, one inch. She has a muscular body and is told to have broad shoulders for a female. Evangeline has a natural caramel/vanilla skin tone. Along with a fair skin complexion. She has a light pink scar above her right eye received from her older sister, You know how girl fights get.
Evangeline is a fashionista and doesn't settle for the "shorts and a t-shirt" look like the rest of her family wish she would. She wears sunglasses most of the time along with diamond earrings. She wears the most expensive clothing in the household because she simply refuses to be one of those kids at school that gets judge. She enjoys showing off every piece of her clothing and is always up to shop.
Guarded and observant- losing her father in the middle of her youth gave Evangeline the fear of losing those who mean most. Very rare is it, that someone is let in, giving them the ability to see her true colors. Evangeline often times puts on an emotionless or angry expression, to avoid contact with others, in hopes of never getting close. She's protective; usually one of the first to stand up to anyone pushing around her family or friends and makes it her main priority to protect. Once someone is able to see Evangeline for who she really is, rather than the act she puts on, they'll find she's very carefree and outgoing, hardly ever found without a smile.History:
Evangeline is like a clone of her sister. A troublemaker, back talker, potty mouth, sexual being. But in a way.. more sweet. Unlike her sister, Evangeline likes to feel love, and let new people into her life. She's never been hurt the way Carson has. Evangeline's likes to think her heart is big enough for anybody worthy of her time.
A tad on the dominating side, she is a quite a pushy and stubborn teenager; it’s her way or the highway. Evangeline has been known to be violently, throwing anything she can get her hands on at the heads of her father and cousins, but never her mother because Evangeline is absolutely a Momma’s girl. When she wants something, she REALLY wants it. She can be sneaky and frequently uses manipulation to get whatever she wants. She has people wrapped around her stubby fingers.
Laid back, rolls with the flow. Incredibly smart, however, she tends to hide it more often then not. Logical with a lack of common sense. Friendly, gets along with everyone. Caring, will listen to anyone and help to the best of her abilities. Stubborn, doesn't back down in an argument. Incredibly boy crazy and flirty. Protective over those she cares about. Maternal and nurturing.
Evangeline's history isn't that interesting, but maybe that's because she brought most of the bad stuff onto herself.Sample Rp:
Evangeline was born with everything a young girl could ask for. A mother who adored her, a father who would kill for her, and most importantly- money. She was raised to buy people off. Her father always told her, 'People who say money can't buy happiness have obviously never been truly happy '. Growing up, Evangeline never knew what that meant. She'd ponder it a few times, but never really think about it. What she got from it was people who didn't have money to spend were never happy. That was good enough for Evangeline. So she moved on to thinking about more important things. So, as you can see, she was a little girl with the world in her hands. Until March of 1998.
Evangeline was 7 years old when the doctors diagnosed her father with cancer. Evangeline remembers sitting in the boring waiting room. kicking her feet like any other bored little girl. She's not sure how long she sat there for, but when her parents came out, she could tell her mom had been crying. Evangeline's dad couldn't look her in the eye. And he was the one that always taught her to look a person in the eye even under critical conditions. Evangeline didn't ask what was going on. All she remembers from that day was mom kneeling down and hugging her the tightest she had ever hugged Evangeline before, with my dad playing with her hair. A month or two later Evangeline's dad's hair began to fall out and finally he just shaved it all off. This confused Evangeline further, but she still didn't ask.
They went back to that hospital several times over the course of that year. Every time it was the same. Mom cried, dad looked sad. But then, one day when they had to go there again, the doctor invited Evangeline into the office with her parents. She sat on her mother's lap since her father had lost over 30lbs and was pretty much just skin and bones now. Evangeline remembers the doctor being very nice, too nice. So Evangeline finally had the courage to ask the one thing that had been on her mind since the first day they had come here. The words just rolled out of her mouth. 'Is daddy going to die?' The room fell silent and Evangeline remembers thinking- that was my answer.
That's all Evangeline remembers from that year. Watching her father who had raised her up, die in front of her eyes without her even recognizing it. The day he past mom had left Evangeline home alone. She was 8 years old by this time and she knew what was happening. Her mom was gone no longer than an hour. She came home and cried. She didn't even try to hide it. So Evangeline did something that she promised her father before he got sick that she would never do. She grabbed her very first stuffed animal and her blanket, went into the corner of her room, and cried. She remembers herself babbling about how much he had hurt me, how much he had hurt mom. After an hour, Evangeline had fallen asleep on that floor. Her mom came in and picked her up. Evangeline told her to put her down, that she was going to hurt her just as dad had. She held her tight, resisted her hits. She put Evangeline down on her bed. Once on the bed, Evangeline screamed at her mother to get out, to leave her alone. And that's what she did. To Evangeline, she lost both of her parents that day.
Evangeline's teenage years flew by. Mother was there for her when she needed a woman. But they never had much of a relationship. Evangeline would spend countless money shopping. Shopping... Evangeline had fallen in love with shopping around age 13. It was her personal escape from the world. She would rack up credit cards and such , but mother never seemed to mind. She always paid them off. They always had money, but Evangeline was never sure where she got it from. It wasn't something she worried about.
Full lips barely pursing, with a glance over the table before her, the honey brunette leaned forward, scooping up the mess her young cousin had made on the tablecloth. Soothing his whines with soft singing, the Desmond girl gently lifted him out of the chair, and down onto the ground. It had been a long time, since her return from the place she’d fled to for a year. To be honest, none of what had occurred was a regret, either. Lifting the milk soaked cloth, Evangeline sighed half heartedly, carrying it over to the basket of washing, the smallest of smiles threatening to ghost her lips as the dark haired little boy toddled after her. His parents were at work, leaving her with the child, and a morning dance class to teach. Under any other circumstance, she might have called others for babysitting assistance. For as long as the six-teen year old had lived, she’d been a dancer. It was her father’s death that caused her to stop, until she’d opened the studio once more.Celeb:
“C’mon, little man. You’ll get to see grandma.” Scooping the child up once more, the familiar weight of his sturdy frame balanced on her slender hip, Evangeline lifted the keys to the car from the counter, along with the baby bag. It would be a long day for him, and she knew it. He was well behaved, though – and quite attached to the elder. Tucking her keys into the front pocket of the jacket, keeping a careful hold on the boy, she was out the door within moments.
The studio was small, and only a short distance from her house. When she’d first decided to start dancing there, it had been completely warn down – her brother had helped with the restorations, though under protest. It was enough, however, for a small class. Unlocking the door, pressing her lips to the young boy's cheek to reward his patience, Evangeline bounced him slightly, before setting him up in the corner with several books and toys. Unzipping her jacket, with only minutes before the class started, she glanced down at her attire – black leotard, over white tights, as was custom for the girls to wear – and pointed shoes, her fingertips brushed her curls back from her cheeks. Flicking on the light switch, the brightness bounced from mirror to mirror, lighting the room perfectly. It was plain, as far as studios went – a thin bar, along the center of the panes, one entrance, and one window on the side of the room with chairs, for parents to watch. Leaning one tiptoe up on the bar, Evangeline leaned down, stretching softly, grinning at her cousin.
“I promise, we’ll do something fun after this, okay?” Reassuring him, an eyebrow quirked up, testing the point of her shoes by moving up on tiptoe. “How about we ask if grandma can come over our house after, hmm? We can stop for ice cream or something – would you like that?” His vigorous nodding, and grin, made it all worth it. Continuing with her stretches, Evangeline glanced up at the door as several of the girls began to arrive.
