Despite the masculine looks that he possesses Beckett Gustaf resembles his mother in every possible way other than his height. His face shape, that nice oval but slightly squared off face shape resembles hers. His jaw line, though hers is feminine and suits her delicate features perfectly his tends to take the more chiselled path. Some may say its too masculine sometimes too prominent but really it suits him perfectly, resembles hers. His eye color, that nice light almond color brown, resembles hers. His hair color, that dark mahogany almost Tuscany brown resembles hers. Hell even the thickness of his hair resembles that of his mothers. It would appear that in his appearance the only thing that Beckett ever got of his father is his tall height.

Beckett doesn’t mind the fact that he looks like his mother, to him she is one of the most beautiful women in the world with delicate features and he couldn’t blame his genes for wanting to look like her. He thanks her on occasion whenever he sees his face on the cover of a magazine commenting on how cute or handsome he is. He always makes it a point to thank his mother for all the great genetic traits she portrayed to him. And when it comes to his love of sports, primarily football he thanks his father. He loves the fact that he is tall with dark looks. It sometimes makes him feel that despite his shyness towards women he can maybe attract them with his good looks.

Becket on top of being handsome, dark and tall is also quite built. He keeps in shape and has for his whole life. It is a necessity to eat healthy and maintain a well rounded diet as well as body weight. He has always been involved in physical activity and does so on a regular basis, hence forth giving him the nice broad chiselled shoulders as well a tight chest, and even some signs of visible abs. He keeps his weight around the same if he finds he tends to be losing some weight he slows down on the physical activity and if he feels like he is gaining it he bulks up on it, he isn’t a health not but he does believe in keeping a healthy life to try and live longer and healthier. Running being one of his favourite past times.

Beckett as no tattoos and no body piercings. Mostly because he doesn’t want to upset his mother and another reason being he feels he has nothing monumental to have inked permanently onto his body. He isn’t against tattoos he is just under the impression that you should only get one when you have something worth getting. Like your child’s name, or something along those lines.

Personality:

Being born and raised in the public eye has helped Beckett with one thing upon many in his life, he is not shy one bit. When it comes to speeches, appearances, functions, balls, even recitals Beckett is your man to get it done without even a second thought. He doesn’t even have the fear of messing up, its born and bred into him. In this personality trait he appears like his father. Beckett can stay calm and cool under pressure. He does not struggle easily, he does not show weakness easily, he does not waver easily. He remains strong even under the most awful of times, no matter how hurt he can be inside, or what the turmoil is, or personal problems what can be going on in his life, to the public eye as long as he is watched Beckett will remain calm and cool and un-shy. He does not shy away from any problems whatever they may be, he tackles them head on and with charge. He is a natural born leader and sometimes that could be a bad thing when going into public situations where there may be other natural leaders. Beckett most always takes on the role as alpha male. Which could get him into trouble with other alpha males since he isn’t one to back down from something he believes in.

Beckett is not bothered by any gossip that may be spread about him. Since being in the tabloids most of his life he is used to having his name and lies spread all over the world. He doesn’t care what others think, all he needs to know is the truth and that the people that matter most to him know the truth as well. He does not easily waver, nor does he back down from a fight. Once challenged Beckett has the dominance in him to prove himself. To fight to the finish. Whether it be verbally or physically he will not back down. A trait that has gotten him into quite a lot of trouble in his younger years. He sometimes even dabbles into a rebellious trait that comes and goes depending upon his mood.

Despite the fact that Beckett can deliver a speech or press conference without letting a bead of sweat happen or a stutter of his words when it comes to the opposite sex Beckett is a coward. He isn’t shy no, but being home schooled with only his sisters as company and then proceeding into an all boys school Beckett’s only interaction with members of the opposite sex are from meet and greets, teas, luncheons, dinner parties, balls or other functions his parents drag him off too. He has had one love affair in his life, meaning one girlfriend. Beyond that there has been no other. He often shy’s away and chokes, stuttering, sweating when forced in the company of a girl he finds attractive. Beckett is not the best with flirting either. He is shy and is self conscious when it comes to women. He will often find an excuse to duck out of a situation when forced into one involving a girl he finds attractive. There has been many rumours that maybe he is gay because of this but really he is just too shy to know how to act with girls.

Beckett is a family man, protective, strong, caring. He will fight for anyone and anything he belives and loves. He is protective of his family especially of his little sister Madeline. He is also very wary of people getting too close to him. He does not easily trust people who know who he truly is. He tends to keep people at arms length so he will not become hurt in the end. He knows most are after being close and whispering things in the prince’s ear, a boy who will one day be king. He knows most women who know who he is, is after the crown and only the crown and a chance to be a princess and one day queen, not knowing the true hardships there is to being a queen. It is these reasons alone he is so protective of his secret here in California. He plans to never let anyone know who he truly is. To not let many people get too close to him.

History:

It was Summer Olympics being held in Munich when at first Carl Gustaf Folke Hubertus first met and fell in love with Silvia Sommerlath. She was working as an interpreter as well as a hostess at the games. After many years of courting and dating the two wed. A year later their first child, Victoria was born. Two years after that Their first and only son Beckett Carl Phillip Edmund Gustaf was born. And three years after their third and last child Madeleine was born. Beckett did not have a normal upbringing as most children did in these times. He was Home schooled threw all his elementary school years, as were his two sisters. He was always under watch and guard, as were his sisters. He was never allowed away from home without his body guards, who were his only friends growing up. Most think of his childhood as being a sin and a let down, like he had no options in his life. When really other than very little socialization threw his younger years due to the lack of public schooling Beckett had more options than most. He was His Royal Highness Prince Beckett Carl Phillip Edmund Gustaf, Duke of Varmland, Son of his Royal Highness King Carl Gustaf Folke Hubertus and Her Royal Highness Queen Silvia Sommerlath. Beckett was a prince.

Despite his lack of public schooling threw his younger years Beckett was and is a very Social young man. Growing up under the public eye in Sweden as their prince Beckett was used to being looked at and making speeches, it was taught to him from a young age how to be proper, chivalrous, act accordingly. Beckett was groomed to perfection. His life had been a fairy tale to those not living it. To him it was a trap.

After he reached the proper age to be admitted into what is labelled the junior high years the king and queen admitted Beckett into an all boys school that schooled all the royal children, children of dukes and duchess’s, the children that were princes etc. It was there that beckett got the chance to actually be a boy and meet some school friends, most he already knew from parties and meetings for and with his parents. It was there that beckett began to get the taste of an ordinary life, even joined the boys football team.

On his eighteenth birthday the king and queen asked Beckett what it was he wanted. Beckett’s one and only response and birthday wish? He wanted to go to public school in America. He wanted to go into hiding, Pretend to be just a normal eighteen year old boy. Learn what it was like to not be watched from the paparazzi. Learn what it was like to live without guards, make friends with people his own age that weren’t heirs to thrones of their own. He wanted to have a real life, if only for a year. After much deliberation and convincing of his parents Beckett got his way. Arrangements were made for a small one bedroom apartment for him, he was enrolled into Central High School in California, he purchased a not so flashy car that would fit the criteria for an eighteen year old boy. He bought American style closed, and practiced an accent to cover up his Swedish one. From an early age Beckett was taught many different languages to be able to communicate better with other countries when he took to the throne upon succession. English being on of them. Beckett just wanted to make sure he could blend in easier with a not so thick Swedish accent. He didn’t want it to be traced back to Sweden royal family. He wanted to fly under the radar and go undetected. He didn’t want anyone to find out who he really was. He wanted to be an average boy.
