Appearence:
Lux is the picture of innocents. Long blond locks that fall softly to frame her slender face, big olive green eyes. A bright infectious smile, golden sun kissed skin and on top of all that a sprinkling of freckles across her checks and nose to win over any doubter. Yes, Lux is the living breathing model of the girl next door or at least that is the way she appears to the untrained eye. With a certain look or smile Lux can be transformed from the girl who you’d bring home to meet mum, to the girl your mother warned you about.Personality:
Lux carries the family trait of being tall and skinny. Standing proud at 5”11 and barely weighting in at 110lb there really isn’t a whole lot to Lux. There may not be a lot to her, but where there is, it’s all in the right places. Lux can look just as hot in a pair of skinny jeans and tank top as she can all dolled up and ready to hit the club. The girls got curves, were not talking kardashian style, but for how skinny she is, it’s really not bad. Lux takes pride in her appearance and that isn’t just hair, make-up and fashion, but also her body. The girl like to keep in shape and her hard work is evident from the abs she’s got going on. Let’s just say Lux isn’t shy to be in a bathing suit with the body she’s rocking.
Youthful and fresh faced is the typical look you can see Lux sporting. Her healthy sun kissed glow and confidences covers up any impurities just as well as foundation and concealer. Lux’s look works so well because it all fits together. Some people might not think her a ‘stunner’ because none of her features really pops out from the rest. Her light blond hair goes with the tan skin and the olive green eyes suit comfortably with her tan skin. So to enhance what she was blessed with Lux usually coats her lashes in plenty of mascara, and adds definition with eye liner. Lux isn’t some racoon eye’s bimbo though, she still manages to keep her look as natural as possible. The one feature that truly makes Lux stand out from all the other girls is her smile. Lux has a smile that can truly light up a room. She isn’t the type how can do a half-hearted smile, because even a hint of a smile on her lips lightens up the whole of her face.
When it comes to clothes Lux has a huge range to pick from. Her wardrobe consists of jeans, skirts and dressed. The one thing Lux’s divers clothing range has in common is the fact that they are all designer. Lux has a huge case of fashion snobbery, if it doesn’t have a label attached there is no way in hell you will be able to get Lux into it. Only the finest materials and designers with a high price tag are good enough for little miss Lux Thompson.
History:
she acts like this
Born to Kimberly and Cameron Thompson, Lux is the youngest of four siblings and the only girl. Her oldest brother Flynn Thompson aged twenty was the first born to Kimberly and Cameron when they were a young couple just starting out in their marriage. Flynn would forever be known as the responsible one. A golden child through and through. Next the couple welcomed Riley and Hugh two years later. Finding it almost impossible to live up to the high standards of their older brother the twins were known as the practical jokers. If the nannies ever found a rubber snake she could be sure it was the twins. Four years after their golden child, two years after the practical jokers, Cameron and Kimberly welcomed their first girl, Lux Penelope Thompson. Like all the rest of their offspring, Lux had a very apparent personality. She wasn’t a golden child or a joker, Lux was trouble. From a young age Lux had her family wrapped around her finger from a young age. She acted like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, but really she was a handful.Sample Rp:
Lux was rebellious from a young age, when she was told not to do something you could be sure she would. Because of this she managed to get the art of lying down to a fine art at a young age. At any opportunity where she was caught Lux simply blamed it on her brothers no matter how blatantly obvious it was that she has been the culprit. One incident happened when Lux was about four years old and wanted pancakes for breakfast. After about ten minutes (which felt like hours to Lux) of trying to convince her parents this was a good idea and them not seeing it the same way their young daughter did, Lux simply took it upon herself to make her own desired breakfast. When her parents found the little tot, as well as most of the kitchen, covered in flower, Lux simply looked up at them with her big green eyes and said ‘Riley and Hugh did it’ followed with a big bright innocent smile.
Lux’s slightly cute ability to defy her parents and most other people wasn’t something she grew out of; instead it just turned out to be a lifelong trait. Though as the years went on her cute defiance of making a mess in the kitchen while making pancakes, turned into something more serious. Lux is what you could call an early bloomer. She had always lived in her parents grown up world, interacting with those older than her. The age she actually was and the age she looked and acted always seemed to get blurred. When Lux was thirteen, she got her first boyfriend. Some people would think it was too young, but her parents knew better than to argue with their young daughter so let it go. Lux was like most other teenagers, she believed she knew what was best for herself, she thought she was invincible and couldn’t be hurt, to some extent she still does. But a thirteen she was still too young to fully understand having a grown up relationship, but this didn’t stop her. With peer pressure and not wanting to seem like a ‘kid’ Lux lost her virginity to her first boyfriend at thirteen. Soon after this first, Lux then added the first of her having her heart broken.
If her behaviour wasn’t bad to begin with, these events just added fuel to the fire. Lux would skip class to hang out with her friends, take the day off to go shopping and sneak out at night. Her parents never liked to challenge Lux, knowing she would just push back, but they didn’t pay for her to have a private education to just not show up and her antiques were starting to draw attention to Kimberly and Cameron in their social circle. In order to minimize the embarrassment on them and to try and help Lux by giving her a second chance, Kimberly and Cameron sent their daughter to a boarding school in England. They had the view if they couldn’t see the problem there wasn’t one. Lux didn’t seem the movie as a new start, rather she saw it as a new opportunity to do whatever she liked miles away from mum and dad.
With her good looks, affluence, elegance and higher class etiquette Lux found herself at home almost automatically with the elite of her new boarding school. Things had changed but Lux was still known for her mischievous ways. Her behaviour of boys, booze and drugs that her parents were so afraid of didn’t die down, but was instead covered by the good grades she achieved. After all in a boarding school there was no real way to hide from the teachers. Boarding school was a blessing to Lux, she could be as rebellious as she wanted for most of the year and her parents were completely oblivious to it. Then when she went home for holidays her parents saw her behaviour as ‘letting off steam.’
Lux felt like she had everything, she was you, pretty, rich and invisible. Or at least she thought she was invincible. Like her younger self she couldn’t see the implications of her actions or the friends she kept. Christmas of 2010 is what changed everything. She was back home for the holidays and hocking up with all her old flames and seeing her friends. The season was full of parties Lux was up to her typical ways. Leaving one party with Archer, a well-known drug dealer, and Ethan, an ‘acquaintance’ of Lux, they went back to Ethan’s apartment but the night wasn’t going to end the way they all wanted.
As Ethan and Lux caught up with each other and reconnected, Archer went out to help out some of his clients on getting their latest fix. Lux had only left the room for a couple of minutes, but when she returned to find Ethan slumped over and unresponsive. She thought he was messing around with her. Something Archer and him and planned before hand to freak him out, but the longer it went on the more concerned Lux became. When Archer arrived back she was almost hysterical. “we have to take him to hospital” she kept repeating through tears and Archer remained silent shocked by his best friend’s death, guilty for supplying him with the drugs, and conflicted wither to be honest and go to prison or lie and stay a free man. When he finally spoke it was obvious were his loyalties were, with himself. He convinced Lux that it was too late to take Ethan to hospital and if they did they would both be arrested for being involved in his death as well as being involved in drugs. Archer also made it clear if he was going to go down for anything he was going to take Lux down with him. They erased evidence of their presence in the apartment and left Ethan to be discovered by his housekeeper the next day.
Though they had erased there presence in the apartment, Lux could erase her guilt and the feeling they should tell someone what really happened that night. The guilt was eating at her, she couldn’t sleep and was finding it hard to function. On several occasions she tried to get Archer to see her point of getting their guilt of their chest, but Archer was having none of it. He let her know if she came forward, she would be the one taking all of the blame. It was obvious Archer was petrified at the prospect of Lux blabbing, but it was also obvious that he owned her. Lux was young, naive and impressionable. Along with his treats Archer gave Lux some sleeping pills to help her with the sleep deprivation that she was experiencing.
Her family found it hard not to notice the change in Lux, though she insisted nothing was wrong, they knew that something was. Lux may have not gotten on hugely with her parents, but it was her mother’s instinct that saved her. Archer instructions for taking the tablets were ‘take a few and they’ll knock you out.’ Taking one she laid awake like so many other nights that had gone past, so she decided to take a couple more. After nothing seemed to happen Lux took a few more until she was indeed ‘knocked out’, but not in the way she had been aiming for. Her concerned mother entered her room to check on her troubled daughter only to find her passed out with pills. Lux was rushed to hospital and had her stomach pumped. The doctors managed to save her, but everyone was worried about Lux’s mental state fearing she had tried to kill herself rather than it being an accidental overdose. Lux was held up in a rehab centre against her will until doctors felt that she was no longer a danger to herself. She was eventually realised, but her parents didn’t feel that boarding school in England was doing their daughter the good they wanted and staying at home wasn’t an option to them. Instead they found a boarding school in California. It was somewhere they felt Lux could have another fresh start, as well as having family around to keep an eye on her if she got herself into any trouble again. Lux wasn’t resentful for this new movie, instead she was grateful; she has to get away from Archer and the guilt of Ethan’s death. Now she’s moved away she just hopes her troubles won’t follow her.
