I figure now that I'm accepted and stuff I should actually introduce my OOC self, so hi!
I'm Annika (or Anna, or Som, or Hey You - they all work). I'm 19 (20 in August) and going into my Junior year of college as a Multimedia major with an Advertising minor. I'm from the US and live on the East coast. Yeah, I work in retail and you probably have been on the multi-national chain which employs me.
I love playing Second Life and my avie name on there is Arwyn Quandry. I also adore writing, blogging, The Sims 3, any kind of Photoshop or Illustrator stuff, tabletop games, comic books and Firefly. I'm a true blue geek girl to the core.
I've been roleplaying for about nine years now but I haven't done a high school drama RP since before I entered high school, so this is all kinda new to me but it seems super awesome. I was so scared to join because everything seemed so uptight and strict but so far it's been really chill. I'm really looking forward to running a newspaper here and actually creating some content. I do some graphics, though I'm not near the level of some of what I've seen on here.
