These characters come from families that have not only been in Central for what seems like forever, but have also managed to become household names across the town. Legends are sitting on the biggest fortunes in Central and aren't afraid to use it to their advantage. You can find these families bragging about their wealth by hosting fabulous social events or donating entire wings to the college. They will do anything to uphold their name and keep their high social standing. Everybody else falls below them in their eyes.
Relations with others: The only other people the Legends tolerate are the Originals. They associate with them occasionally but keep the line between them distinguished. Legends absolutely hate Has-Beens; they believe they are the scum of the earth. As for the Runaways, they believe they should go hide somewhere else. There isn't any room for misfits in their town. And although they have held multiple charity events, they secretly wish the Survivors would have fled somewhere else after the storm. The majority of the city's funding has gone to helping the Survivors and the Legends believe it's hurting the high social reputation of the town.
originals
Originals attempt to remain generally neutral when it comes to the other subgroups, but fail miserably. These characters have lived as peacefully as possible in Central for the majority of their lives. They are just average citizens who provide the majority of the drama to the town. They gossip constantly and sneak their opinions into any conversation they can, following up with a "no offense" or "nothing personal". They're no Switzerland in this battle, even though they appear to be. This group is also for characters who do not fit into any other group such as exchange students and neutral citizens!
Relations with others: Originals' number one hatred is for the Survivors. For years the Originals have lived in Central without any interaction with the surrounding towns. They aren't thrilled about being forced to mingle now. Originals remain generally friendly with the Legends but are constantly annoyed by their snobbish attitudes. When it comes to the runaways and the has beens, they remain generally impartial: some Originals once might have belonged to these groups but have been settled in Central long enough that their secrets have been outed or they've found a way to hide them expertly.
has-beens
These characters had their fifteen minutes of fame, but now the spotlight has been turned off. Feeling outcasted, they fled to Central to attempt to rebuild their lives and gain the fame they can still taste back. Maybe they married a celebrity for two minutes or fell into a world of too much partying. Either way, these characters somehow ended up in Central trying to climb their way back to the top.
Relations with others: Because of their famous pasts, Has-Beens have formed a hatred toward the Legends. The Has-Beens believe because of their former celebrity status that they are automatically better than the Legends and a strong rivalry has formed among the two groups. Actually, the Has-Beens pretty much think they're better than everybody in town. Originals? Boring ordinary citizens. Runaways? Scummy rodents running away from their own mistakes. Yes, Has-Beens are extremely hypocritical. As for the Survivors, their former fame genes call for them to welcome them with smiling faces, though they aren't afraid to trash talk them in the background.
runaways
These characters are running from something: a big secret, a shaky past, or maybe one big regret. So they moved to the small town of Central in hopes of avoiding the spotlight. Unfortunately, they had no idea that a place like Central is full of talk and secrets are easily revealed. Until then, the Runaways are hiding and avoiding spilling their secrets. Either way, Central is safer than where they came from.
Relations with others: Runaways don't blend easily with the other groups for a number of reasons, the biggest one being that the majority of the other groups hate them. Because Runaways are trying to keep quiet and slip through the cracks of the gossip site's grip, they don't mingle much with the other groups and usually stick to talking amongst each other. Of course, when another group such as the Legends or Has-Beens begin to attack, the Runaways aren't afraid to snap their claws out and dig in. They may seem timid and scared, but Runaways will do anything to protect their secrets from getting out.
survivors
After the twister destroyed these characters' town, they moved to Central in hopes of piecing their lives back together. Most Survivors lost everything in the storm while others lost family members, pets, and memories. The mayor of Central donated money to provide the Survivors housing. They saw this as generous and welcoming and soon moved in. Unfortunately, they weren't expecting just how vicious the citizens would be toward them. They also didn't realize they would bet he cause between one of the biggest feuds Central has ever seen.
Relations with others: Survivors are bitter. Not only have they lost everything, but now they are being shunned by the people around them. This backlash has caused the Survivors to build hatred against every other group, especially the Originals and Legends. Occasionally they get into rifts with the fake Has-Beens, but mostly the Survivors believe they are just fame whores. As for the Runaways, the Survivors remain civil with them, understanding the pain of having to move from one place to another.
