Most of the reason Samael was nervous, was not because he was taking Izzy on a date... that nervousness had passed a few hours ago. This nervousness was because he was taking Izzy to go see a cemetery screening. Samael had been to them, hell he even ran a few back home... but he never took a date to them. He thought that would be pushing the boundaries of letting his little secret be known. He knew that if people found out he had a fascination with death, that he would be ridiculed over and over again until he lost it. It happened when he was a child, and he didn’t doubt it would happen now. Samael just found something beautiful in death, yet he himself did not want to die. Samael continued to him was he walked over to his car. He could feel the stares from people as he walked by, but he ignored it. His getup wasn’t that strange, maybe his Egyptian styled eye makeup was, but people really should be getting used to this by now. Samael finally made it to his car where he unlocked it and popped the trunk. The blankets were already in there. He had the single red rose on top of the picnic basket, which he grabbed after he set the basket down in his trunk. After closing the trunk, he knew it was time to walk and go get Isa.
He twirled the rose in his hands, wondering if it was a bit too much... but he wasn’t about to go and ditch it. He was going to treat Iz like he would anyone else he was taking out. Despite being every bit as creepy and weird as Samael was, he did have a romantic heart and knew how to make specific people swoon. Making his way over to annex where he was going to meet Izzy. It wasn’t that far away from his car. He remembered the last time he was in the annex was when he was watching a movie with Misha and eating ice cream while couples made out around them... that was a good night. Walking into the Annex, Samael got some interesting looks from people. He looked around for Izzy, and wondered if he was early. Surely he was here on time... maybe he just wasn’t looking hard enough... then again he knew that Iz could have a habit of being late. He just chuckled as he held the rose close to him and waited. Waited for the date that could either crash and burn or go over really well... only time could tell.

Shiloh is no chameleon... she doesn’t blend in with the crowd at all. Her hair is naturally a nice black colour, but recently she’d dyed it blood red. You can most often find it red or black with either a red or purple fringe in her bangs. Her eyes are a stunning blue that are either full of curiosity, mischief or even, on occasion, pain. She has an almost perfect complexion, but her skin doesn’t tan so she’s forever pale.Personality:
You can always find her lip with a piercing in it. Sometimes in the centre, or sometimes off to the side, but always her bottom lip. Shiloh also has a nose stud that she always wears, and her belly button is pierced as well. She has a few tattoos on her body, but none that she shares the story about. She’s a short 5’4 and most of the people she hangs out with are taller than her.
She has a rather slim build, and has a fast metabolism. She does keep in shape, and runs as well as has years of mixed martial arts training. She doesn’t participate in any sports, but she used to participate in mixed martial arts a lot. She has more of a punk rock style, and always dresses like she’s going to a concert. She’ll dress up formally only if she must, or if her step-mother forces her to.
She’s been compared to the Singer Shiloh a lot, but she doesn’t see the resemblance.
Ash isn’t the kind of girl you want to run into in a back alley. She’s tough as nails and will kick your ass if you come at her. She’s not very talkative, but will not hesitate to tell you off if you did something wrong. She’s stubborn as a mule, and will not ask for help no matter how badly she does need it. She’s been known to start fights for no reason, and not just arguments. She does full blown fist fights. She believes arguments are just a waste of time if you can settle things with your fists.History:
Ashlynn does not trust people as easily as people think she does. She will not talk about herself to people, and will distract people by asking them about themselves instead. This may make her seem like a good listener, but she really could care less. She’s a music lover, and it pretty much rules her life. She sang in a band in her home town, but she quit about a month before she moved. She’s looking for a new band now just to fill the gap quitting her old one had left.
Ash has a secret that she will not tell anyone, and it’s the reason she had moved away from her home town. It was a year ago when someone had broken into her home, her parents weren’t living together, and Ash was taken by surprise. She didn’t know what to do and the burglar had a gun to her head. The partner wound up shooting her mom right in front of her before they panicked and left. Ash had her suspicions about who it was but kept it to herself. It’s been eating her away inside.
On the romance side, Ash is not innocent. She’s not the little daddies girl her dad likes to think she is. She’s not a slut though either. If she wants a good time, she’ll find it. She’s not shy on her Bisexuality either. And finds girls and guys both do it for her. She does lean more towards guys though. Ash has been known to make enemies with more of the popular girls, she makes fun of the popular girls mostly for their vanity. She believes in stereotypes and no one can convince her otherwise.
Ash was born October 22nd, causing her to always be at least a year younger starting school. She didn’t mind though, because she was just as tough as the older boys. Ash’s mother was a photographer while her father was a mixed martial artist. He taught her everything he knew from the second she learned to walk. Growing up, Ash never saw anything wrong with her parents relationship, at least, until one day it was like a slap to the face to her.Sample Rp:
When Ashlynn was ten her parents split up, and it killed her on the inside. This was also the year she turned into a little rebel. She always seemed to hang out with the parentally deemed “Wrong Crowd”. She didn’t drink, but she did smoke, but only when she knew she couldn’t get caught. Not when she was ten, of course, but when she started her freshman year of high school. It was also her freshman year when she started going to concerts.
She didn’t do the whole pop band scene, and found solace in more punk/ hard-rock type bands. Her mother didn’t approve but didn’t make it vocal either. So on Ash went on the “path to destruction” as people were saying. Halfway through her freshman year she formed a band. It was with her best friend and a few other local kids. They practised and managed to land a few gig in bars every now and again. This was also the year her father got re-married.
Ash was not happy about the wedding, and she didn’t want to go. She was forced to not only because her father wanted her there, but because she was a bridesmaid. She was forced to take out her piercings and cover up her few tattoos with cover up. She was completely annoyed, and suffered through it silently. She ended up hooking up with one of the older boys on her step-moms side of the family that night, just to spite her father.
It was the beginning year of her sophomore year when tragedy really struck Ash. She was sleeping soundly when she was awoken by a loud crash. Three guys had broken into her house and one was in her room. She didn’t have enough time to scream before she was grabbed and she fought back. She was winning until he pulled a gun on her head. She was brought into the living room with her mother with a gun to her head. Her mother looked panicked and nervous as she struggled.
It wasn’t until all three guys were about to leave did Ash’s mother become irrational and lash out at them. One of them didn’t hesitate to shoot her right in head. Ash Screamed and began crying. One of them cursed and Ash swore she recognized the voice. But the robbers ended up panicking and leaving. It was at this point where Ash ran towards the phone and called 911. They weren’t there fast enough, even though Ash’s mom was already dead.
Ash didn’t end up starting sophomore year, instead she spent the year in therapy, as well as homeschooled by her step-mother. She quit her band a month before her dad surprised her by saying they were moving to sunny California. She knew that he was running away from the pain his first wife’s death had caused, but Ashlynn was glad for it. She could start over... as of right now she’s just trying to get her bearings, and is trying to start up a band again. Music feels like the only thing that could help her at this time.
It was Friday, today was the day Samael had been preparing himself for, for weeks. No he didn’t have a test, or a project, and the song he had san in vocals had actually gone great. No, these were not the things that Samael had been preparing for; it was something else... something that he never believed he’d be doing, ever. He was taking someone, somewhere, on a date. He was going to take someone with him to go see a Cemetery Screening. It was a Friday so the local cemetery would be playing Heathers. It wasn’t an extremely scary movie, but it was definitely graveyard appropriate. It was about two kids killing off the popular crowd and making it seem like mass suicide. It was genius, at least to Sam anyways. People would think his fascination was morbid... and it truly was. He was fascinated with death! What caused it, who did it, why they did it, the myths behind it. Currently Samael had an Egyptian Ankh hanging around his neck. It was the Egyptian symbol for life as well as death. He didn’t know why he was wearing it today, just that it felt comfortable and familiar against his bare chest. Yes, Samael was in the process of getting dressed. He had on a pair of his favourite gothic styled jeans, as well as his demonic laced up brass knuckle boots from hot topic. What he couldn’t decide on was the shirt he was going to wear. Honestly the typical dark t-shirt didn’t seem appropriate for tonight... and Samael scowled at himself in the bathroom mirror. Why was this being so difficult. It shouldn’t have been... but Sammi wanted things to be different this time around. No fighting, no arguing, just fun... like in the practise room at two in the morning... he wanted that, only forever.[/i] he said singing the lyrics to Still Dreaming by Silverstein. He smirked at his own reflection before he walked over to the picnic basket and picked it up. He had the blankets in his car already. Samael loved his Dodge 2011 Challenger, considering he had paid for most of it. He wasn’t really a car kind of guy, but it looked sick as hell and got him where he needed to go. As a matter of fact, he should head over to Student parking while he still had enough time, just to put the picnic basket in his trunk instead of showing up with it... that would make everything seem so mysterious, even though it didn’t need to be. Samael was extremely confident that Izzy had never been on a Date like this before.
Samael sighed as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. His eye makeup wasn’t the usual eye-popping style, but it was different. It was very thick... and in an Egyptian style. His makeup was still as thick as ever... except it took him longer to do this than it took him just to lay it on big and thick. He smirked at himself in the mirror and rolled his eyes. He looked different today... he looked much more confident than usual... and he knew exactly what he was going to wear. He grabbed his black and grey striped woven long sleeved button shirt and put it on, before grabbing one of his black vests and throwing it on overtop. He knew if his mother was here she’d say he looked absolutely darling, and his father would pat him on the back for getting a date. Samael rolled his eyes at the thoughts of his parents and went back to thinking about the night. He had the money to get into the movies, as well as blankets for them to sit on and put on themselves if it ended up getting cold. He also had a picnic basket filled with things Isa liked, but as well as the things Samael himself liked. If you hadn’t already guessed, Samael was getting worked up over a date with Izzy Hale, the boy he fought with and flirted with all at the same time.
Samael walked out of the bathroom and grabbed the single red rose that lay on top of his dresser. He had went out and gotten after class so he’d have enough time to get changed when he got back. He had the food bought in advance and stored in the mini fridge he had bought for the dorm. Samael began to sing as he walked around the room putting everything together where it went. ”Sometimes, I feel like I’m still dreaming. It seems like everyday, you’re always on my mind. This is how we stay so connected, so connected, over space and time.”
Most of the reason Samael was nervous, was not because he was taking Izzy on a date... that nervousness had passed a few hours ago. This nervousness was because he was taking Izzy to go see a cemetery screening. Samael had been to them, hell he even ran a few back home... but he never took a date to them.
