Andy has always been rather well built, even when he was only a child. He stands at five foot nine inches, which isn't all that tall compared to most males of his age, but it doesn't make him short either. His eighty-one kilograms of weight is mostly muscle, which is not surprising due to the fact that he works out a lot, let's just say that it pays off rather well. For the most part, one glance at the boy and you would be able to see that he is rather casual with his appearance. he rarely puts much effort into it, it's not like it matters what you look like in this place, right?

Sometime he can seem a little too casual with his appearance and can often be seen wearing track pants and an old tee anywhere, he really doesn't care. His hair is almost always a mess, though he will rarely go anywhere with facial hair, well anything that is really visible anyway. He thinks it looks dirty and he just doesn't like it all that much. it's the same with other people too, he doesn't like it on others either.

As was said above, he is sometimes rather casual with his appearance, track pants and old tees are something that is rather abundant in his wardrobe. But when he is not being casual and not caring he is most often seen in jeans, decent tee shirts and nice shoes. Though these nice shoes are mostly just sneakers, but they are nice all the same. He does favor flip flops a lot from time to time, though he is rarely seen in shorts unless it is really hot, which would be quite often in the Californian summer. Despite his casualness, he does dress up nicely when the time calls for it, he has in his possession a fair few decent 'dress' clothes. He is also no stranger to making an excuse to wear them when he feels like it.

Personality:

Andy is a rather sheltered person, he doesn't like to give much away. He doesn't like it when people want to know about him, when they want to know the way he works, what makes him tick and all that. in fact he can get rather annoyed when someone asks him a simple question about him, especially when it comes to his past or his sister's past. He is easily agitated, the smallest mistake can result in his fist in your face, and that is never a good thing because he takes a lot to calm down, so once he is worked up, all hell could break loose. In all honesty, he would prefer people to leave him alone, to not bother with him at all. It's not that he feels that is what he deserves or anything of the like, he's just given up on people for the most part.

Sometimes you could say that he is a bitter person, someone who never really gives anything a chance. Though this is somewhat true, it is not entirely. As was said before, he has pretty much given up on the human race, this tends to give people the idea that he will shun anyone away, but this is not true either, though not entirely untrue. It all depends on what his impression of you is, if you seem like the kind of person that he may like and trust, then you should have no problems with him, but if you do not seem like this kind of person to him, then you are pretty much screwed from the start. He is a judgmental person, he once was not, but certain events and time has changed that part of him, and well in fact changed every little part of him.

For the most part, he comes across as a bit of a jerk, judgmental and a little arrogant. But that really is just a shell to deter people away, he just doesn't want people around unless he feels he can trust them. He has some rather severe trust issues, and there is only one person that he feels he can trust with anything and that is his sister. She is the only person that he would ever put his life in the hands of and this is only because he had pretty much saved hers.

If you are lucky enough to push past his barriers and his shunning, you will find a mostly decent guy. He is kind and helping to those that he considers friends, but to those that he doesn't like he can be a complete dick to, he will push them around and treat them like crap. You can't blame him for that though, it was really the way he was brought up. If you piss him off, which is really easy, he will not hesitate to fuck you up, severely. He will never go easy on someone because of whatever reason they give or anything. In the past he has be locked up for a night because he beat someone severely, on many occasions. Just don't piss him off, you'll be fine. Never say anything negative about anyone that he cares about, especially his sister. In fact, anything happens to his sister, if someone upsets her, they should expect a visit from Andy, he will do anything for her and will protect her if it kills him.

History:

Mid December, Andrew Kaine Riley was born to Jade and Nathan Riley, in Central hospital. He was their second born, the pair had another boy that was two years older than Andy, the two never got along. Three years later another child was born, a girl. She was born four weeks early and there was a lot of worry about her health and if she was going to survive. But all went well and she survived and was never really sick for what has been her life so far. Despite being born in Central, Andy only lived there for the first five years of his life. The family packed up and moved to New York some time during his fifth year, he was pretty much raised in New York, him and his siblings. Though his life was rather uneventful up until his ninth year. This was the year that his mother died, she was murdered.

It was tragic really, she was merely walking from the train station to the family home that was five hundred meters away. Someone jumped her, stabbed her various times and left her for dead. No-one was home at the time, in fact the rest of the family had gone back to Central for a week to visit family, she couldn't get the time off of work. Nathan got the call some time after midnight and rushed back to New York, leaving the children to stay with their grandmother for a little while. They ended up staying with her for a few months while the case of their mother's murder was looked over and never solved. After this, their father became a new man, he changed. He was once a bubbly, kind man and after his wife was murdered, he turned into a somewhat bitter angry man. Of cause this had an impact on his children.

When the children went back to their father, they found an almost stranger. What they found was something on the verge of being an alcoholic and was bitter almost all of the time. He began to neglect his children and naturally the oldest took control, well tried to. While Andy's older brother, while only being twelve, tried to take control of the family, even his own father who was near impossible to control. Though surprisingly, the teen was able to make some control over the lot of them for a few years and the family survived rather well, until it all fell apart. Their father, who was the legal guardian, went a little mad and one night he injured someone near to death. This was when Andy was thirteen. The man was deemed incapable of caring for his children and they were split up to go to foster homes, never were their family even considered to be their guardians. In fact, they hadn't really spoken to any of their family for at least a year.

Over the course of the next four years Andy had no contact with any of his siblings, it killed him inside and he got bitter and was generally shunned by the foster families that he was with. He didn't want to be with them, no matter how nice and giving they were, he just wanted to be with his family, mostly his sister who he had became insanely close to over the time that their father was almost never there. When the family had been split, he was a genuinely nice kid, he never got into fights and was at the top of all his classes. After a few years he changed and to some it was like an overnight change. He pretty much gave up on everything except himself. Though after a while he almost gave up on that too. He was rarely in one house for more than a few month and was constantly being moved around the city. He always wondered how his siblings were getting on, and even though he never really got on with his older brother, he thought about him and hoped that he was having a better time than he was.

Not too long before he turned seventeen, Andy was moved to a family in Queens. He was pretty much instantly roped into hanging around with the oldest son of the family and found himself mixed up with drugs and other such illegal things. He got really screwed up and lost a lot of good people in his life. At least one thing stayed good, he was able to stay with one family for a good while, he stayed with them until he found his sister and disappeared. He ran from it all in his nineteenth year when he found his sister, and did something that he regrets, probably the one thing that he regrets, that most others would not.

He was at a party with his foster brother, who was also his best friend at the time, though after this day he would be more than dead to him. There was a certain group of guys at this party, Andy was not one of them, though his foster brother was. They were known for being a little rough with their girls and not exactly treating them as they should. Andy's sister had somehow gotten herself mixed up with one of these guys, one of the ones that Andy was yet to meet. As soon as he saw her he knew who she was and was instantly excited, he had missed her severely. As he was making his way toward her and thinking up what to say, this night he wasn't on drugs or anything for some reason, the guy that she was dating started pushing her around a bit. This ended with her being pushed over and her boyfriend yelling at her and threatening to beat her of she didn't sleep with him. This obviously pissed Andy off and he beat the guy, his sister was confused as all hell because she hadn't seen her brother at this stage and was used to the guys just ignoring everything that went on. He almost beat the guy to death, the guy was hospitalised but no-one knew what happened because they were so fucked up on drugs and such.

After this, the pair pretty much ran to Central, they got in contact with an uncle and asked if they could live with him for a while and he was more than happy to have them there and for as long as they pleased. Andy has enrolled in college, majoring in law. His sister is going to the local high school. He is trying his best to stay clean and sober now that he has left that life behind him, but he fears that he will fall back into old habits and befriend the wrong people. Most of his time now is focused on keeping his sister safe and college.
