Here at Central, activity and participation is something to be celebrated! Everybody has different interests and strengths and these badges were created to include all different aspects of Central. Badges give members goals to work toward and recognition by their fellow members and admins who want to congratulate them on being so fucking awesome! Gotta catch em' all!
Guidelines: 1) In order to earn a badge past bronze, you must complete the badges before. In other words, if you want to receive a platinum badge, your character must complete the requirements for the bronze-gold badges. 2) Badge requirements are subject to change as Central grows and changes. 3) Badges are based on characters and your development of an each individual character. 4) Most badges count from this point forward, not all former activity counts. Sorry!
event participation
these badges are based on participation in events from this point forward. participation can be of any kind (thread, posts, or quickies). events are defined by their presence on the sidebar.
bronze - participation in one event
silver - participation in two or more events
gold - participation in four or more events
platinum - participation in five or more event and creation of an event with the help of an admin
post count
these badges are based on post counts by each individual character. post counts are set that only in character threads and posts count toward an account's post count.
bronze - thirty + posts
silver - seventy + posts
gold - one hundred fifty + posts
platinum - two hundred + posts
membership length
these badges are based on membership and activity from the date your character is registered on the site.
bronze - one month + membership
silver - five month + membership
gold - one year + membership
platinum - two years + membership
specialty badges
these badges are rewarded for various reasons listed below with descriptions. you can collect multiple specialty badges (such as two silver specialty stars).
leadership badge
bronze - character leadership in a club or sport
silver - character initiative to gather any group at central into one thread, for instance, gathering the royal court members to have a lunch date or starting a thread related to a club or sport
gold - tbd
platinum - tbd
ooc badge
bronze - creation of an introduction thread and active participation in the chat box
silver - creation of a thread in the everything board
gold - three + threads in the membership lounge and creation of one + ooc games
platinum - active participation in out of character scenarios such as making site suggestions, talking in the cbox, promoting central to others, and making central a comfortable place for all
ic badge
bronze - active participation in the ic chat
silver - active participation in the ic chat, ic games, and communications
gold - creation of an ic game along with one thread in each communications subboard
platinum - constant character development through centralize, the ic chat, and communications board with a post count of 70+ showing participation in all aspects of the ic world
gossip badge
bronze - sending in gossip two + times
silver - character featured in two or more gossip stories
gold - commenting on five or more gossip stories
platinum - constant gossip participation through commenting, sending, and featuring. overall, a gossip guru!
claim badges
