soon-jin ahn  seventeen. exchange student. junior.[/center] Soon-jin Ahn is a foreign exchange student from South Korea. In his home country he's something of a celebrity, having made his fame in singing and acting. He's been successful, but his fame began to waver, leading him to ask for a year off to study in America. His English is fairly good, though he doesn't quite get slang yet.
Soon-jin is very friendly. He's a generally sweet, polite guy who gets along with most people. He's very busy most of the time and has few opportunities to relax in between dance, vocal and acting lessons as well as sports and after school studying. He's a workaholic becomes antsy when he's not doing anything. He'll get along with just about anyone, but particularly with those who share his love of music or are interested in helping him learn about American culture.
Because he's a nice guy, having enemies is uncommon. Even if he doesn't like someone, Soon-jin will rarely say anything, preferring to just silently avoid them rather than get into a fight. Culturally he's wired to avoid overt displays of emotion, though if he's already on edge he might become visibly upset or yell at someone. If he's really mad, he'll start screaming in Korean rather than English.
In romance, Soon-jin is ever the sweetheart gentleman, pulling out chairs and giving his date his coat. He loves to be in a relationship, but if it interferes with his career, he gets rid of it. Soon-jin adores American girls, particularly blondes and likes to date others into music and acting. He's had several relationships with members of girl groups back in Korea.

Soon-Jin&&CeciliaI think that they may get along, because Cecilia used to be a drama freak and did most of the school's plays and was in band and chorus and all that good stuff. So, they'd most likely just be friends. Soon-Jin&&SierraWell, she'll probably take an interest in the new guy and since he's famous, she'd be all over them. Plus, she's a blonde American, his favorite! Lol, but anyways, she'd probably start off with friends and try to work her way in closer to get gossip, and probably try to start a relationship with him. Hey, he's hot.

hola! i'd love to have chameleon and soon-jin meet. they are both exchange students, both aren't big on showy emotions, and really don't know anything about american culture. cammie is a runaway and prefers not to be talked about, and so, knowing that gossip was big here in central, she had decided to nickname herself so that no one figured out her name was chameleon. she assumes that it is because american's find it to be a strange name. well, anyway, i'm rambling. x3
cammie isn't american, though she is a blond. i'm thinking soon-jin could see her and assume she is american, and try to speak to her? then he could note her very un-american accent, and then chameleon could just become a turn off for him? i'm thinking they could end up either just knowing each other or becoming friends? idk.. T: feel free to add/subtract/ignore any of this!

Could work! He doesn't understand American gossip very well, so he might be put off by the fact that she's into it, as he thinks it's kind of rude to talk about others. Physically, he'd probably be attracted to her.

They might meet through the exchange student classroom if they're hanging out there at the same time. I think he'd be curious about her accent and where she's from, and they might even end up hanging out a bit, at least if she can stand his overly driven perfectionistic attitude. [/blockquote] |

cool! would you be interested in starting or should i? i think they'd end up curious with each other once they get to know each other. cammie might even be a bit star-struck by knowing a celebrity, even if he is korean and not very well known in australia or america. want to thread?
